Why is How I Met Your Mother Season 3 "Episode Only" when every other season has the option to buy the entire season?

I know it starts on the 23rd of September in America but I would like to see it at the same time in England! My PowerBook G4 15" Titanium runs very slow. I want to resurrect it's basic functionality. I am the second respectful owner. Is rebooting from the original Mac OS discs (which I have) a good plan? And if so, what's the procedure? I'm not concerned at this point with security vis-a-vis what will be left on the hard drive, but only with re-optimizing the little beauty for core tasks. Thanks!
As a respectful lover of PPC macs, still having a fully functional one, a 2004 12-in PB, let me ask first some details: RAM installed, disk size. I assume it is running 10.2, as described.
RAM is crucial for upgrading the system, 256 MB is absolute minimum for Tiger, best 512 or, ideally, 1 GB. There were 4 generations of tibooks, beginning with Jan. 2001 through Oct. 2003, which one is yours? The CPU is also important, as the last series may also run Leopard, not only Tiger.
As a basic thought:
- if the first tiBook, with 1 GB memory, you will beautifully run Tiger, Leo may not run due to low CPU
- with the last, with 1 GB memory, you may run both Tiger and Leo, for which 867 Mhz is the minimum.
Of course the original CDs are good, if 10.2, you must be having the last generation, which is of course faster than the earlier ones, so may also install Leopard. I would make a fresh, erase-and-install procedure, and see what is that slowness you mention. Jaguar should run OK on that model, and fast enough, but do the last update too, i.e. 10.2.8 -

How i met your mother season 1 & 2 in HD
Any idea when/if this show will be available in HD for the full run? I'm close to buying it, just to support the show itself, but I'm unwilling to pay for an SD version and maybe have to re-buy it in HD at a later date.
I find it hard to believe that Apple has no skin in this game. Surely they get HD content from the producer/distributor whenever they can, and have the ability to request it when they don't. I'm not the TV company's customer, I'm Apple's customer. If I'm dissatisfied with the product they have available, I have to let them know that.

I used this forum last time for asking help in a tutorial and it was extraordinary help.
This time I would like to ask you if you can help me, in a easy way of explaining, how to make a video like the HIMYM intro:
Thank you!This can be done with a series of photographs with the people masked out. You apply color effects or color overlays to the images, arrange them in 3D space, and then animate a camera move through the maze of photographs. The color effects could be achieved using different blend modes and a color gradient over each photo combined with levels and saturation effects to give the photos that old faded photo look. It would probably be easier to do the color effects in Photoshop first. The flash between frames could be accomplished with a solid colored layer with the blend mode set to add and animated opacity.
To figure something like this out try and look at one element at a time. Try a few things to achieve that effect on a single layer. When you have the look you like, start animating.
If all of that was Greek and you're thoroughly confused search AE help for Animating Cameras, Blend Modes, Masking, Working in 3D space, and color balance.
These suggestions should get you started. -
I downloaded the new IOS 7 and it asked for a pass code to unlock it when it finished, however, I haven't used a pass code in so long, I don't remember what it is! I have downloaded the latest itunes version on my Samsung windows 7 laptop. It is a higher end model. Anyway, have paid for and downloaded season 5 of "Breakin Bad" but when I press "play" on an episode, it only displays a 30 second clip. The download was successful and it says "downloaded" right beside the episode icon.
To be clear, I am trying to playback the episodes on my Samsung laptop ( not an Apply devise )
am I doing something wrong ? This is my first time purchasing something from itunes.If your library was working on your computer and then popped up empty all of a sudden then this might be what you need...
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

I have 2 iphones, 1 personal and 1 business. I thought I was supposed to have 2 separate itunes accounts. I now have a work ipad and want to only have 1 itunes account that I can use for all 3 devices. How do I cancel 1 account or just combine the 2?

Yes.
You can authorize up to 5 computers to play itunes music ( pre-itunes plus). There is no limit on itunes plus ( all itunes music for the past several years) and imported music.
You can sync as many ipods/ipads/iphones as you like to each of your computers. -
I tried all these steps and iTunes still won't let me play songs I paid for... Every time I authorize, it repeats that it's already authorized, but won't play because it's not authorized ... Catch 22
