i paid for mountain lion $19.9 but do not have it downloaded on my mac yet

In what way is it terrible? Mountain Lion is pretty stable. If you are having problems, most likely they are unique to your particular system and can be fixed. If you don't like some of the new features, that does not constitute reason for a refund.
If that does not suit you, you will have to discuss a refund with Apple, as they are the only ones who can say. Note that the App Store terms do say that all sales are final, so you are not guaranteed a refund, especially since whatever problems you had are not due to defective software.

yesterday I downloaded (and paid for) Mountain lion, but got no install screens and OS is still 10.7.

Look in the Application's folder for Install OS X Mountain Lion.  Double click to start the installer.

It's a 4+ GB file. It takes some time if you have a slow Internet connection. You may have lost connection with the server. Try pausing the download for a few second then restarting.

I couldn't see any reason why it would be bad for my particular macbook, and it downloaded without a problem.

  • Mountain Lion was reedemed but will not download

I just received my emails from Apple with the redemption codes, etc.  Received the link to download Mountain Lion in my app store.  It says "downloading" in the Launch Pad, but in the App Store when I click OS X Mountain it says -  "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store."
Across from that seemlingly deadlink for Mountain Lion is the button "Download"  When I click it nothing happens and "download" just lights up again.
Is it downloading properly since it says "downloading..." on my Launch Pad?  Is there any way for me to see how much time remains on the download?
    Please Help.
(I am currently running on OS X Lion and just upgrading)
    Thank you!!!

Thank you,  Stupid me didnt realize Mavericks was free.  I am downloading Mavericks now.  I deleted ML from my purchases on the AppStore.
Is there a way to delete it from my Launch Pad before it has downloaded since I obviously will not be using it now?  Didnt realize Mavericks was free.  I cannot believe I paid 20 dollars for ML.
    I feel cheated.

  • I have an AirPrint printer and am signed up for the wifi 3G service but will not have wifi.  Can an IPad be hooked to a printer with a cable, or can I print somehow without wifi?

I have a new air print-capable printer and am signed up to Verizon wifi+3G service but will not have wifi while traveling.  Is there anyway to print from my iPad in this situation?  Cannot the IPad be hooked up to a printer with a cable?  If not, this seems to me to be a real shortcoming with an iPad!

iPads cannot be connected to a printer using a cable.
You need some form of Wi-Fi network to print. You do not need to have that Wi-Fi network connected to the internet. There are some devices that will create a Wi-Fi network and allow you to print. Google it to find someplace ossicle solutions.

  • Paid for Mountain Lion...need another download sent to me

I installed Mavericks but my computer ran slower so I wanted to go back to Mountain Lion.  Unfortunately my last Time Machine backup gave me Snow Leopard.  (It had been a while since my last backup...)  However, I purchased Mountain Lion (and still have the emailed receipt...thus I can prove I paid for it) so is it possible to get another download sent to me?  I see that it's still available for purchase in the iTunes Store so I'm hoping that means Apple will send me another if I show them the email receipt.  Just don't know how to go about it.
    Thanks!

Make sure, of course, you are logged into the same App Store account ML was purchased under. See this page for instructions to show hidden purchases.

  • How do i request the up-to-date program for macbook pro for mountain lion os x i do not get the processes can someone explain it to me with detail

i cant follow the instructions they do not make sense do i request it when i get the make or when os x is released

The third post (by BitBytr) quotes the page that I am referring to.  If you read it -- either his post, or the web page, you would realize it says ver batim:
Customers who purchase a qualifying Mac between June 11, 2012 and the date when Mountain Lion is available in the Mac App Store will have 30 days from the OS X Mountain Lion release date to make a request.
Ironically, the fifth post (also by BitBytr) emphasizes the exact same quote.  It's the same statement found in two places on Apple's website.  Why are we even arguing this?
Either way, everyone has referenced Apple's web site.  Congrats, folks.  You have valid references.  But the OP wanted it "Barney style", or broken down to much easier terms to understand, which I feel was provided in my first post.  If anyone disagrees, I welcome corrections or easier wording.  Afterall, we're here to help OP.  Momacandipad, has your question been answered?

  • HT1933 Paid for NY Times in iTunes but app not updated

I regularly use the free NYTimes app.  I decided to upgrade to the full paid service so I could view the other sections of the newspaper instead of just the free section.  I clicked on the subscribe button in the NYTimes app itself and it purchased the subscription using my iTunes account.  I got an email confirmation that the purchase was made.  Unfortunately neither the NYTimes app nor the NYTimes.com website recognizes that I've made the purchase.  I went to the iTunes store to report a problem but I just get taken in a cicular set of links with no clear way to report a problem for in app purchases.

    Hi PrincessLeia84,
I recommend going through this article to see if you are able to download your past purchases using those instructions:

  • HT4108 i have paid for a rental hd dvd but its not showing on my tv what is the problem

Help I have purchased for the firstime a hd dvd rental i can see it on the itunes on my ipad but not on itunes on my pc which is not a mac what should i do please

Rentals are a one-time only download - if you downloaded it on your iPad then from here :
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.

  • IHAVE PAID FOR QT 7 PRO TWICE AND CAN NOT UNLOCK TO DOWNLOAD IT ON MY COMPUTER WINDOWS

i can not download quicktime 7 pro, I purchase it twice and can't unlock it to download.

Expanding on what Kirk said, there is no "Pro" to download. If you received the email from Apple containing your Pro key, then you just need QuickTime installed on your system. For instructions on how to enter your key, see:

  • Airport utility for mountain lion

Is there a way to install the Airport Utility 6.0 on Mountain Lion

Mountain Lion is not available until this summer.
The Terms of Use Agreement for this area....which we all agreed to.....will not allow us to discuss or offer support on products that are not currently available.
If you are an official beta tester for Mountain Lion, you already know that you have a dedicated Apple site for support.

  • Is there a download for iphoto for mountain lion

I've just upgrade from 10.6.8 to mountain lion and I still do not have the iPhoto app.  Does anyone know where I can get a download version of iPhoto that is compatible with mountain lion 10.8.5?

Click here and try following the instructions, or install iPhoto from the computer's original disks, or buy an iLife 11 DVD from a source such as Amazon or eBay.

Of course I can't throw it away since I get a message it's part of the sytem. I can show package contents and throw those away, but evidently not a good idea!!
