I pay for 3 skype numbers (have for 7+ years) only...

I've been trying to get 'support' to help but the best they've been able to do is 'promise' to provide a voucher for 12 months of a third skype number. That *was* OK until I started getting emails from "Jack L" on the "Skype Tier 2 Team" asking for screen shots of the charge for 12 months that the web site asks for. I can't reply to his emails (from email address is a bunch of [email protected] - it bounces) so I've forwarded the screen shots to other support people I've worked with on the issue. This has been going on since December. Support request number is SRX1273613357ID / 4071137859 Looks - I'm over it. I have been paying for three skype numbers, every month since 2007. The details are in that ticket number. You can get Skype into every major motion picture released in 2014 I think you can set up my paid for subscription service.

This is a community forum. Very few, if any can assist in account matters and payments. Most likely, it will be faster to contact customer service, and give them the case numbers you are reffering to:

You might be lucky and get help here, but since noone in the community can do anything about this, you're better off with support I guess.

    You do have to pay, but you're not paying again. iWork apps for OS X are not the same as the iOS versions.

    Why is it that there's not many Skype numbers for Latin American countries? one of the biggest and fast growing regions in the world now and you only have numbers for Chile and Brazil..

  • Testers for a Numbers spreadsheet for Rubber Bridge?

    I have developed a spreadsheet named "Tally" for the iPad. Tally keeps scores of "party bridge" tallies using the Apple app Numbers. The spreadsheet remembers and displays each person's score for the day, not just for the current table. Tally does not score the current contract automatically, but accumulates the hand-calculated scores, keeping track of players' movements from table to table. I would really like to get some feedback and testing of this spreadsheet, so please contact me if you would be willing to do so.

    Thanks very much for the reply and the ideas.
    I had done just what you suggested, but only got one reply and that was from a website that focuses on supplying  Bridge links. The owner quickly replied affirmatively, but then asked, "What's Numbers?" I have not heard back from the person.
    It seems this is a new concept, because party bridge is so informal and the bridge tradition seems either to not keep track of scores or to buy/print paper party "tallies" on which each player carries a record of her own score. This system would keep all scores on one iPad for easier totaling and comparison.
    Coincidentally, yesterday I read http://allthingsd.com/author/walt/ where he reviews a new cloud based service that will run microsoft office apps from the iPad. But there does not seem to be an alternative to Numbers that will just run an existing spreadsheet on the iPad itself, not from a wifi connection to the cloud. Am I correct about that?

    Take it back to the Apple Store you bought it from. They will inspect the unit and determine whether it qualifies for a warranty repair or not.
    This is standard procedure.
    If they determine it does not qualify for repair (accidental or wilful damage is not covered) you will be quoted repair costs. Thereafter you decide to either bear the cost yourself or claim on your insurance policy, assuming you have one.

  • Camera is not working for Skype in Mac OS Maverics

    Hi,
    I have MacBook Pro (Mid 2012).  I have updated it to MAC OS Maverics.
    Since then camera is not working for Skype (Version 6.8.0.351)- only at the start it works for few seconds and then it freezes.
    It was working fine with Mac OS Lion.
    Please suggest some wayout from this.

  • One account with two skype numbers, want to forwar...

    that's it. i have one skype account that had one skype number forwarding to one land number. works fine. bought another skype number in order to forward to a 2nd land number. but cant find any way to do this on skype.  skype just wants all forwarding for both skype number to go to the same land number (or numbers).
    other than creating a 2nd account for the second number/forwarding, is there a way to do what i want to do here?
    or, if i need to set up a 2nd account for the 2nd number, is there any way to get skype to apply the 2nd skype number and the payment (that has already been processed) for that number to the 2nd account?

    Skype Numbers are for incoming calls only, and that's all the Skype client sees . . . an incoming call
    unfortunately, you also cannot transfer a Skype Number from one account to another

  • Recent changes to Skype Numbers (Online Numbers)

    Hello everyone,
    I’m creating this post to explain you recent changes in Skype Number’s (known also as Online Number) functionality.
    Last week Skype has enabled recurring payments for Skype Numbers.
    So if you use PayPal, Credit Card or other payment method, which has a recurring capability, your number will be renewed automatically.
    Some of you, who have more than 30 days  to the Number’s expiration date , received an email which informed you that you are on preapproved agreement from now on.
    And for those of you, who have less than 30 days to the Number’s expiration (or used payment method which doesn't have a recurring capability), received an email about recent changes. But you are not on the preapproved agreement,  (will be when you extend your number next time).
    Please have a look at screenshots below:
    a)      If you are NOT on the payment agreement, you can see “Extend” button.
    b)      If you are ON the payment agreement, then you see “settings” button, and when you click it you see “cancel your Number” option.
    I suggest you all to sign in to your Skype accounts on www.skype.com and check  Skype Number’s settings.
    Please also be informed that if you decide to cancel the number, you will be actually cancelling just a payment agreement. Number will be active until the end of billing period you have paid for

    2nd time in 2 days I have had rubbish service from Skype website/support.

  • Disabling Skype Numbers- Major Issue

    I have 2 skype numbers and for one of the two, I have been put on a spam list and am now getting about 100 (seriously) calls a day from a multitude of numbers. Now, I need to keep my other number for my job so when I finally find the skype live chat support (which Skype has done very well at hiding), they tell me there is NO way for me to disable my skype number except for waiting until my subscription runs out (in 2 months). Also since there is no way to tell which number someone is calling you on (i.e.skype number #1 or skype number #2), now I have to answer ALL of the calls so I can filter the 3-4 important business calls a day from the 75-150 spam calls I am getting.
    Am I missing any ways to disable my number or is skype really this inferior of a service?
    This is the last straw for me, Skype is not sitting in good standings with me anymore, not after this fiasco. 

    Ditto - I agree this is a major issue. Likewise I used my Skype number on contact details for a trade directory and since the New Year we are getting about 30 calls a day from salesmen. I too have purchased a new number, but desperately want to disable the old number. I dont want any kind of refund for the unused portion of my subscription. I have basically had to keep signed out of Skype during working hours in order not to be disturbed!  Please help!

    I see one post saying that Skype hasn't added a way to tell which number is being called. Has that changed?
    The other question is: Can I set one to go to vmail automatically while the other receives calls? For instance, after hours I want to "turn off" the business number and leave the home number accepting calls. Is that possible?

    Unfortunately, Skype Numbers do not work as you describe.
    While we are allowed to start up to ten (10) Skype Number subscriptions per Skype account, being affiliated with the same account, will behave as if all ten numbers are actually only one number.   What to do?

    Create a new Skype account to use for Skype Number intended for business use, and use another Skype Number as a personal or home account.  Nothing changes as far as the cost of the Skype Numbers is concerned, however what changes by using each Skype Number on a different Skype Account is that you can control each number separately.
    All that said, unfortunately Skype's mobile platforms do not support being logged in to two Skype accounts simultaneously.  The Windows Desktop platform does, however doing the same on a Mac is not supported, and the work-around is messy at best.

  • Do I have to pay for Skype WiFi on tablets even if...

    I updated Skype on my Android based Galaxy 10.2 tablet, and even though Skype recognizes I'm online to sign in to my account, in my settings shows only Skype WiFi as the only means for "connection" meaning it won't let me make phone calls unless I purchase Skype WiFi minutes.
    Is this for real? I already have a paid plan to make phone calls to land based and mobile numbers, but now do I have to pay for Skype WiFi in order to use it even though I have a home WiFi network?

    If you had the previous version of those apps on your machine then the upgrade is free.
    If you didn't have them installed you must purchase them.
