The troubleshooting steps detailed below can help get your iPhone back into working order.
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge until your device turns on. This could take between 10 and 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue persists, please contact Apple Support.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -

Did you try a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go? Did you try to restore as new in iTunes on your computer?

My iPhone 5 got wet and I dried it out for 3 days. Now when I charge it the apple logo keeps blinking. Phone is unresponsive, so I tried to restore it but got error code 21. Tried on another computer and got error code 2006. Any suggestions, or is it impossible to get it back?

These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.
Error 2000-2009 (2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, and so on)
If you experience this issue on a Mac, disconnect third-party devices, hubs, spare cables, displays, reset the SMC, and then try to restore. If you are using a Windows computer, remove all USB devices and spare cables other than your keyboard, mouse, and the device, restart the computer, and try to restore. If that does not resolve the issue, try the USB issue-resolution steps and articles listed for Error 1604 above. If the issue persists, it may be related to conflicting security software. If the errors persist on another computer and known-good USB cable, the device may need service.
If neither of those fix it, then it's toast. it will have to be replaced. -
Push-notifications do not work when iPad connected to wifi
Both my iPads (iPad 2 and The New iPad) successfully connected to home wireless network. Internet works in general: I can browse web-pages through Safari, check emails via Mail, games send data to Game center, etc. But number of Apple apps do not work, such as FaceTime, Messages and push-notifications. When I connect to my phone's 3G hot-spot, these apps work fine, and I get dozens of missed push-notifications. I think, problem in wi-fi router settings, but I can't find out what's wrong. I've tried to change MTU value to 1400, change 802.11 mode to g-only and switch off router's firewall - nothing changes. How should I set up my router to make it work? Thank you!

I've been trying to connect my macbook to an Insignia TV. The macbook recognizes the TV is connected and changes the display ratio accordingly, but it does so in a jittery way before landing on 1080i after some time.
The audio works fine on the TV from the mac, but it's not picking up any video. When I go to System Preferences>Displays, I get two windows: one for the built-in display, one for the TV. I think this is why I'm not getting any video, but I don't know how to make it just so that the display is for the TV. The displays are mirrored, but I'm still not getting anything. Please help!Go into System Preferences, then Displays. There should be an option to click on the tv mirroring. Click it and see if it connects to the TV.

my ipad will not turn on and I have tried the reset process and I have tried to connect it to my computer but it is not recognized by the computer. Not sure what else could resolve this issue and get my ipad to reset?
Did you try to get it working on another computer, see if that does it. BTW have you re-charged it using the 10w power adaptor, it might be out of power.
there's also a possibility that it may be a battery issue. contact apple if problems persist.

I am wondering this because today I went to an AT&T store since my IPhone 3GS is working not so well and I barely got it about four months ago,they said that I would have to go to an Apple store which I am going to do Sunday but my IPhone 3GS be exchanged by an IPhone 4 or the same model as right now?Also,if I don't get the IPhone 4 is there any chance I would be able to buy it from them,no higher than 100 dollars?
Replacements are same model, size, and color. 99.9999999% of the time there is no exception and the exception is always Apple's decision. This has only ever happened when Apple does not have sufficient quantities of service units for replacement of a specific model.
Apple does not offer "upgrades" or exchanges during the warranty replacement part. If you want a newer model, you must purchase it at full retail (or subsidized price from your carrier if you qualify). -

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have a 3GS iphone. It was jailbroken and working alright.But I was not able to upgrade its IOS frrom 4.0.1 to higher versions and many applicatopns were not compatible with this version of the IOS. So I decided to do a factory unlocking. From an website, based in Mumbai, I unlocked it. When I check now in different websites from my IMEI number, my iphone is unlocked. So I became happy that I can now upgrade my iphone. But the events turned to be different.When I connected to iTunes, iTunes stopped working and my iphone did not appear in the iTunes. If I do not connect the iphone, iTunes is working alright. Can any friend give me some advice how to proceed. I do not like comments like Jailbreaking is illegal and should not have been done.
