I phone 4 goes off to face time time mode while talking

While making / receiving calls, the phone goes off to face time /mute position many a times.

Hello,
I don't know if it's your case or not, but sometimes the battery is not calibrated, and it will show 99% for a long time before showing 100% (the longest I had to wait was one hour and a half). I'd recommend you to wait in 99% until it gets to 100% by itself (without resetting the phone). If it doesn't get to 100%, you should make a restore with iTunes. And if it still isn't getting to 100%, you'll have to contact Apple regarding this battery issue.

  • Sound goes off on Face Time

Several threads on this issue - video continues but the sound cuts out on one side of the chat.  Happens to me on multiple devices - MacBook, iMac, and iPad.  I talked to Apple Support this morning and they insist that it is an issue with the network of the person I'm chatting with.
Instead of posting here, go to Apple Support Feedback directly and report this as a Bug Fix:
    www.apple.com/feedback
They tell me that that is the best way to get the attention of the techs to fix it if it is truly a software issue.
Good luck, make some noise and let's see if they can fix this!

    Hi pablo99,
I saw your post regarding the problems with your EasyNote TE. However, that notebook is a Packard Bell, a subsidiary of Acer and is not an HP product. Here is the Packard Bell support link.

  • My phone goes off in any time of the day and the only way to get it back is through pressing and holding of Home and Sleep button together

Like I said in the subject line:
My brand new iPhone 4S/32Gb goes off in any time of the day and the only way to get it back to live is through pressing and holding of the Home and Sleep button together for 5-10 seconds.
Does anybody have that kind of problem as well?
    Thank you.

I restored it on I tunes as well did something on the phone. The lastest seems to have helped it but I haven't used it much yet!  Thanks for the help & I'll let you know!

    No such message occurs.
Are you trying to state that it says "Unable to activate"?
If so, this typically indicates the device has been hacked or jailbroken.  If that is the case, no support can be provided via these forums.

  • Finally i got my brand new iphone 5c and i was so happy until i plugged in the head phones    siri goes off every minute its driving me insane please fix this soooon!!! Im waiting

When i got my new iphone 5c i updated it when there was a update and it was fine until i plugged in the headphone that i got with the phone siri goes off every minute?!! Something i dont even use or need goes off every minute
I tried to disable siri but the it did the same thing with voice control please make an option to disable all these things because i never use siri but there it is going off without being called upon please fix sooooon!!!!

It sounds as if the button in the headphones is stuck and that is what is doing it. In the one wire of the headphones is a button to activate Siri. It is very possible something is wrong with that. Does the phone activate Siri all the time when the headphones are not plugged in? The headphones have the same warranty as the phone. Take the device with the headphones back to the Apple store and they can replace them.

  • Nokia N8. Screen going off at random times after B...

I had belle for few weeks on my n8 now and I noticed very annoying issue. At completely random times screen goes off. It is not going off per settings. I have to lock the screen and then unlock it or else there is no response by touching it. I could be browsing web or checking email and it will go dark, it is not because of lack of activity.
    Any help ?

    Hi aim1999,
Have tried performing a soft reset or hard reset on the phone to see if it was a bad install?
To do Soft reset: Enter *#7780# into your phone's keypad
Note: this will not delete any data from the device.
To do a Hard reset: Enter *#7370#
Note: You will need to back up your data before you do this because it will erase all data from the phone.
If this still does not fix your problem, you may have to take the device into a Nokia Care Point for further inspection.
    Regards,
    haZey

  • Internet going off all the time

My internet has been constantly going off and on for months now. It always happens in the change of the seasons when it is getting warm. Ive had comcast internet since 2011& it has happened every year. The technicians come out and tell me theres nothing wrong with my modem or anything in the house. They put a request for maintenance to come out and check the pole . Nothing ever changes. Its so aggravating to pay for a service that never works correctly. When it works, its wonderful. Spring and summer months are awful! Last week makes 5 times the technicians have visited my house since May! Its about time for somebody at the cooperate level to do something. All my neighbors have already switched internet and tv providers- do I have to switch too!?

  • Gets hot while taking video and screen goes off so many times

gets hot while taking video and screen goes off so many times

Sounds like something is obstructing the proximity sensor on your phone. It is usually at the top of the display next to the ear speaker. You didn't say what you have. Usual suspects are a screen protector or dust.

  • 3g iPhone alarms not working - going off at odd times, despite turning off/on and reset...

Hello, My ancient - i.e. more than one year old - 3g iPhone has been affected - again - by Britain fiddling about with timezones. Having had all the weekly set alarms go off at 3am etc and other annoying times, I removed all 16 alarms, turned the 3G off, turned it on again, looked at the time zone, and reset that, just for fun (London, England) and then input all the alarms again... still going off at the wrong time. Any ideas? Thank you.

Oh apologies, I am currently in the United Arab Emirates and my carrier is Etisalat. I have called them and they gave me the reset network and the airplane mode fixes which i have tried multiple times and have not worked

  • I phone 4 turn off alone all time

hey ... my iphone 4 turn off alone 3 time in a day ...he need reset  all time :( any solution for this problem ???

Restore as a NEW device (not from backup).  If your problem persists without adding any 3rd party apps, then you have a hardware malfunction and you'll have to bring your phone into Apple.

  • Phone Iphone turns off all the time

My phone will shut down in the middle of doing something (not using an app). Then say there is no battery life left when plugging it in it goes right to half life of battery. My battery always dies quickly there are no apps running in the back ground. The phone is 7 months old.

Make an appointment and bring it to an Apple Store since it's under warranty and let them have look at it. (Do a backup first before you go)

  • Laptop just goes off sometimes several times a day. It has always been plugged into the wall.

This problem has been happening in the last several weeks. It has a cooler under it, but will do this even with the cooler on or off. Could the power source plug be getting bad????

Just taking a stab here but do you have IPv6 enabled? Many of us had a problem with our RG rebooting throughout the week when IPv6 was enabled (which is the default setting). Disabling IPv6 has resolved that issue for me and some others. If you are using the NVG-589, you can change this setting by going to Home Network menu, then Configure menu on the router.
