I phone 4 keeps turning off every 5 min.

I got an i phone 4 for xmas.
The phone keeps turning off every 5 min and I have 2 press ON everytime.
Not really convenient while U r writing an email.
Why is that?

Could be a software issue. Have you restored it through itunes?

it worked for me, but i tried to redo it and now it's not working.
i have friends who have iphone 4 with the ios5 and their additional google calendars are appearing.
you need to turn off and turn your phone on again or wait overnight for the calendars to appear after using the link.

I bought a new iphone 4 and I immediatly found out that it turns off every few min and startup again by it self ..
I don't know if it's a hardware or a software problem !
and I travled away from the country which I bought it from
what can I do ???

even i am facing this problem from last 1 month and the only answer i receive is get it replaced from Apple. I can't understand what people like us should do as we don't have this warranty. Also i have seen end no of iphone users having the same problem but there is no answer from Apple as how come new iphone's that is also in such large nos are having this unique problem of getting restarted in 3 to 4 minutes. It is for sure that they know there is something is wrong with their product and thats why they replace as soon as customer complains but what people like us will do if they don't have warranty....I think atleast Apple should tell us what the exact problem is????????????????????????????????????

Iphone turns off every 5 Mins

My iphone Turns off by it self ever 5 mins. Yesterday i heared noises coming from where the power outlet comes out & Orginal battery doesnt charge on phone anymore put in a new battry & phone doesnt mark that it charges up..Or that its decresseing. Phone turns off ever 5 mins also so you cant really do anything any body know what i could do ?

i know my access connection version is 5.21..
but how do i check the other stuff? where is the lenovo interface system tray? where is the hot key tray? how do i check the versions of all these drivers?
and if all is update - i just need to install the exe file of the new wifi driver? how should i do it?

I've checked on the internet that i have to make sure the headphone is plugged perfectly and it's totally plugged but my iPod keeps turning off every second. If you still not reached 1 year, run to apple store and change it. I have same problem, but during running and stop not often like yours but only one time.

My iphone 3G Backlight keeps turning off and on every 15 - 20 seconds.

My iphone 3G keeps turning off and on (only backlight) every 15 - 20 seconds when in sleep mode. When I say turning on and off, it is not switch on-off, it is only back light that gets turn on and off. This is causing the battery to exhaust quickly.

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again.
If the problem persits, set it up "as new device". If this does not work, do it again, this time not using the backup after the new set up.
If still no luck, get it serviced or visit your nearest Apple Store.

Hi, i'm having trouble with my phone. It's keeps turning off on me out of no where and it shoes me to connect it to the charger. i'm not sure why ittells me to connect it to the charger when it;s not even dead, or even less than a 20% charge.

If you're using any accessories with the iPhone, like a case with a battery, try testing without it.
If that doesn't do it, try restoring the iPhone.

Sticky Keys keeps turning off after every restart

the Sticky Keys option in the universal access prefs pane keeps turning off after every restart. how can i fix this?

It seems to be a common problem in the OS that when you restarts some of the settings get reset. For me it happens with the screeen dimming before sleep and the double click using 2 fingers and maybe others that I don't know about. I am hoping that its fixed in 10.4.7 which should be out within a week or so.

It means you should take it to the Genius Bar. You will no doubt need to buy an out of warranty replacement.

I too have the same problem.
Reset and re sync does not cure the problem. I think that it must be down to an Apple software update.
I do hope the people at Apple take time to read the posts on the message board and pass the issues raised to the the appropriate team.
It would also be helpful to have acknowledgements posted on the various postings to that effect as then we wont have to keep repeating the same issue!!!!!!!!!!!
