I-phone 4s camera won't flip

Hi All ! My i-phone 4s will not flip the camera lens for a self image. Any suggestions ?

Try this from your home screen. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the control center. There should be 5 options on the top of your control center, airplane mode, wifi, Bluetooth , do not disturb(moon symbol) and last portrait orientation lock. Tap on the lock and that should unlock your screen orientation. Good luck

Okay, mine now works here is what I did.
plug in the iPhone, iPad etc
in iTunes select the phone or iPad
Under Summary uncheck "Sync with this....."
Under "Music" uncheck the "Sync Music"
Let it remove all the songs, dont worry it will come back no problems.
Once that is all done all the music on the phone or ipad should be gone.
Now check them both back on and everything should copy back onto it.
Working now !!!!!

click two times your home button to see the apps that are open. Hold the camera app until it jiggles and a minus sign appears. Press the minus sign.
Close your phone, then open it and click on the camera app. Everything will be ok

PICTURES WON'T FLIP

If I hold my phone to flip the photos to landscape view, it won't flip. Any ideas?

Press the home button twice, consecutively to bring up multi tasking. swipe from left to right. you will then see a orientaion lock key. Press that and it should solve the problem. Hope this helps

My images and video's won't flip when I turn it on it's side. It used to when I first got the phone. I don't know if a recent update changed this.

Pull up Control Center from the bottom of the screen, tap the top right icon to enable/disable orientation.

Wow seems like some physical damage to the iPhone whether this is a manufacturing defect or misuse it would need to be evaluated and determined at either an Apple Store or Service provider. And yes this is most likely causing the camera not to focus.

My camera won't work! It comes up with a black sceen/ closed shutter! I've forced closed it, restarted my phone but nothing is working! I use my camera daily so this is a huge issue!

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center. Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. After recording begins, you cannot readjust focus until you stop recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll. Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.
Is the camera app not opening? Or the app will open but the camera won't take pictures?

N95 camera won't load

When I push the camera button on the side of the phone, or navigate to the camera through the menu, all i get is a blank blue screen. Have tried without the memory card in, but still nothing. It will however still take a photo which then loads on to the screen.
Any ideas?

N97 Camera won't start

Hello everybody,
We I open the lenscover of my n97, the screen turns black (sometimes I see the buttons on the side, but not the option button) and the camera won't start. Also via the menu it doesn't work. The screen stays black and the only way to turn the camaera-application off is to turn the phone off.
I haven't done a hard reset yet, because I hope someone has got the same problem and could solve it easier.

if your phone updated to the latest firmware? and you just might have to consider the first two options. make sure you take your battery card out and back up all your data. the first option will restore default settings but you will not lose any data. try that and see what happens.
1. *#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default ( you will not lose any data)
Make sure you back up your data as you will lose all of it when you perform option 2 or 3 on this list. The default code for ALL operations listed here is 12345
2. *#7370# - Reformat your phone (out of the box, tho keep in mind that most newer nokia phones at least n series, e series and s60 based phones have udp - user data preservation so not ALL data may be lost. still it is a good idea to always do a back up of your stuff.)
3. This you perform as a last resort. Nothing else is working.If the phone is not showing any activity, proceed with hard formatting , turn off your phone, hold the following buttons while pressing the power button. (the default code is 12345)
hard reset - hold the following buttons *, 3 (number button) and talk/green key. turn on the phone and do not release those buttons until you see the Nokia boot up screen. once you feel the phone power up you can let go off the power button while still holding all three buttons ( for Nokia 5800XM - use the following buttons to do a hard reset, GREEN/RED/CAMERA keys pressed all at once on power up. this will only work on 5800's that have firmware version 20... and up. )
If these codes are not working the only thing for you to do is contact your Nokia Care Center/Service for assistance.

What's going on? I have an xperia z3 in tip top shape but every time I try to use the camera is getting a unfortunately the camera has stopped message. Please help

Try restarting your phone, if that won't work then press and hold the yellow botton next to the sim and wait for it to vibrate 3 times and plug it into charging for 1 hour then boot your phone and check will it launch. Try to launch it using the dedicated camera botton and the camera icon.
If nothing works then it might be a third party app not letting you access the camera, boot your phone in safe mode and check if it will launch.
If nothings works you can try a software repair using PC companion.
If really nothing works then you can only contact sony.
