After checking my i phone 5 serial number in apple website, I found that it had been eligible for battery replacement.
I have also face unwanted shut down sometime.
Where can I do it in Singapore?

Hello, as you all know apple offers the battery replacement program for 99 dollars (now sixty something dollars). For any of you that have tried it, can you please tell us all a little about how was your experience? did you get a better ipod or a worse one? a refurbished, used or new? scratched or perfect?

I just received my refurbished iPod back yesterday. It looked like new! The engraving was on the back, just like the unit I sent in.
However, the reason I am on the forums today is that when I plugged it in to charge the new battery before synching, I received the familiar "battery with exclamation point" screen. So now I seem to have a clean, new or refurbished unit with the same old problem. Frustrating to say the least.

12" battery replacment program--battery never arrived

Does anyone know how I can contact apple's battery replacement program to let them know my replacement battery never arrived? I am overseas and cannot use the 800 contact numbers.

umm..i have a 4gb blue ipod mini 2nd generation and i bought it on febuary 2005, which i think when the ipod mini second generation came out..and i think my battery is starting to die..so i was thinking..what r they gonna do with it in the battery replacement program? are they gonna replace the battery in my ipod? or there just gonna give me another ipod mini or whatever?

If it's just a battery replacement you require, there are cheaper options if you Google 'iPod mini batteries'.

No. I said it would be a refurbished one.
Try looking up refurbished.

Out-of-warranty Battery Replacement Program

I have an old Firewire iPod and would like to replace it's battery.
A friend of mine said that really old iPods do not apply for the Out-of-warranty Battery Replacement Program because Apple doesn't replace the battery, but gives a new or a refurbished iPod.
This page ( http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/battery/ ) don't say anything about iPod generation and I also heard that old iPods are replaced by new generation iPods.
I like my Firewire iPod, but i would like to know what really happens in this program, coz i only would replace it for the video or nano ipod. Not any other iPod generation between these and the one i have would please me.

I'm in Brazil and i'm going to the US in two weeks. I would like to know that to decide if i take my ipod to do this battery replacement or not.
Apple Brazil didn't give me any information about the Battery Replacement Program. It's only avaliable in a few countries.

I was relieved and not at all surprised to find out that Apple was recalling certain iPhone 5s for battery replacement. I was sure mine was one affected. (My battery doesn't last more than 4-5 hours after a full charge at normal use.)
Having entered my serial number on this page: https://ssl.apple.com/support/iphone5-battery/ I was told that my phone wasn't eligible.
I sincerely think my phone has a defective battery and that the range of serial numbers should be broadened beyond what Apple calls a "very small percentage of iPhone 5 devices."
Anyone know how I can get Apple to help here?

I have the same problem with a iPhone 5c which was purchased last fall (2013) after the Replacement Program time frame. It drains with minimal use.
We have several iPhone4's, 2-3 years old, which have never had this issue.
From reading all of these responses/questions, Apple really needs to address this issue for all 5's. This is a big problem, when the phone is completely unreliable.

My green iPod mini is now in need of a new battery. I read over the Battery Replacement FAQ, but I'm not sure how the condition of the iPod mini I recieve will be. So I guess I have a few questions.
Has anyone participated in this program that has had success getting a good iPod back?
What do they do with my old iPod?
Do they test it when they get it to see if it needs a new battery?
What do they send with the iPod? Or is it just the iPod itself?

Personally, I wouldn't recommend sending it to Apple for an out of warranty battery replacement.
You can get a new battery and do it yourself for ~$20.

There are other places also. Google "iPod battery".
