Hello tjdetrixhe999! Sorry to hear of the trouble you're experiencing with your iPhone! An easy trick to get your screen back is to press and hold the Power button (located at the top) plus the Home button (located at the bottom) together at the same time for about 20-30 seconds, till you see the Apple logo, then release. when i open safari an apple alert comes up with a phone number to call. when i call i get put on hold forever or no one calls me back. how do i get this off there and what is it?
It's a scam. Do not call the number. There are several ways to recover.
1. Some of those scam pages can be dismissed very easily. Press the key combination command-W to close the tab or window. A huge box will pop up. Press the return key and both the box and the page will close. If that doesn't happen, continue.
2. Press and hold command-W. You may hear repeating alert sounds. While holding the keys, click the OK button in the popup. A different popup may appear, which you can cancel out of as usual.
3. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and uncheck the box marked Enable JavaScript. Leave the preferences dialog open.
Close the malicious window or tab.
Re-enable JavaScript and close the preferences dialog.
4. If the Preferences menu item is grayed out, quit Safari. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. None of the windows and tabs will reopen.
After closing the malicious page, from the menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
to get rid of any cookies or other data left by the server. Open your Downloads folder and delete anything you don't recognize. -
i have my apple i.d set in my phone but when i go to download an app it has a different i.d how do i fix this
If you are UPDATING your app, it may be because that previous app was downloaded using another Apple ID.
If not, you can try going to:
Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Tap the top bar with your Apple ID>Sign Out and then Sign back in
This may fix the issue you are having with it wanting to use another Apple ID. -

It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID. -
A computer illiterate friend created 3 accounts on his iPhone 5 but forgot the passwords. He can't reset the password as his yahoo address is no longer valid. Erasing the phone doesn't solve the issue as the Apple server identifies the hardware as registered. How to register the phone with Apple?

How do I create a seperate apple id & icloud acct for another phone on my plan?
I have a service through AT&T and recently added my wife and son to my plan (family account). I have an apple id and sync'd their phones through my account. I want my wife to be able and access icloud and am having a difficult time making that happen. I have my own icloud account and love it. She wants to have her own so that she can better organize herself.
What do I need to do in order to make this happen? I already created an apple id online, but am not sure how to do the rest? If she has her own apple id, can she still access all of the things that I purchase through our computer when she sync's the phone?

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account") -
My brand new MacBook Air is receiving my partner's iMessages instead of mine, and all messages I send, go as from him. (Which has been highly embarrasing).
I've already checked that my macine is linked to my Apple ID, which only has my phone numbers associated with it. I have already signed out, and signed back in.
It is a brand new machine. But I believe I entered his number instead of mine when initially setting up my MacBook, and can't figure out how to change the phone number associated with this machine.
His number is the only number which appears under: "You can be reached for messages at:" under Settings/Accounts.You can not change the number. That is linked to the phone the Apple ID is used on. Is he signed in on his phone with your Apple ID? Are you sharing an Apple ID?
If you are sure you are signed in with your Apple ID and he is not using yours on his phone, then check the settings for iMessage on your phone: Settings > Messages > Send & Recieve. Is that the correct number? If so turn off iMesssage on your phone then turn it back on. Go back to your Mac and sign oput of iMessage then back in. -
My apple id says cannt activate my phone after trying so many times. And i tried to login my icloud account then it say my apple ID is valid but not an icloud account. Its sounds weird for me. How come my apple id is not vaild for an icloud?

If you are using the 2nd or 3rd gen Apple TV (little black box) then it would have no syncing or storage capability.
iTunes content would be accessed using home sharing.

My daughter got her iphone first and used my itunes account for it because she needed the credit card for apps.
Then, i got my iphone and started to use the same account.
Now our phones are mixed up and we get some of each other's texts and pictures.
How am i supposed to fix it?

On both devices go to setting - message - send&receive and start a new convo - remove or uncheck the apple id.
When you get a new apple id go to the above settings and input it. -

ThanksIf you haven't already, do Settings > iCloud and turn off Find My iPhone. You will have to supply your Apple ID and password.
Then do Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to make the iPhone appear as if it just came out of the box. -
