I phone 5 problems; Siri, music, and wifi problems

On my iphone 5, music will randomly start playing, and also Siri will randomly turn on without pushing any buttons. Another problem I'm having is, my phone won't say connected to my home wifi. Anybody else having these problems, is it just a iOS7.4 problem that they have to update?and do you know how to fix it?

Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11) Installed on your computer

My iPhone 5S lost Settings, Phone, Text Siri, Music and many other Apps.

I cannot find Settings, Phone, Text, Siri, Music, Safari and many other Apps are gone. I cannot make phone calls, text or access the internet through Safari. Help! I was running iOS 7

If you reset it (Home and Power Buttons at the same time), does it go back to normal?
If you have backed it up recently (to iCloud or iTunes), you could try restoring it.
Go to iTunes and do a restore to a fresh copy of the latest iOS software.
Then sync your backup back into the phone.

Phone on Silent, Mutes music and ringer.

I have an Iphone 5 and when I flick the switch to maek the ringer silent, it also mutes the music. It didnt used to be this way before. How do I change the settings so that the iphone will play (from like a youtube video) but still be on vibrate with the switch flipped on the side.

When the side control button is up it's on ringer - when it down its on mute or vibrate.
Either way I just did a test went on youtube - watched any video with the side control down on mute and I could hear the video. Then I put the control up on ringer and could hear the video.
So maybe the video your watching doesn't or has low audio.

I just downloaded the new itunes, (11.1 I think) and now my iphone won't sync. I plugged in my phone to download new music and it made the noise to show it was charging/plugged in, but nothing synced or downloaded. How do I fix this?

I have already tried to delete and reinstall itunes, but the same thing is happening.

After upgrading to IOS 5.0.1 my music and movies are gone - I have only one song. Sync does not put my media back

I upgraded my Iphone4 to IOS 5.0.1 when plugged into my fully-patched OS X Lion-version Mac. I no longer have any movies and only one song on my phone. Itunes says I have all of my movies and music, but my phone does not show it. I do have my books (but not audiobooks)

I made a work around. Set my phone to not sync music and movies in itunes. Sync phone. Set my phone to sync music and movies in itunes. Sync phone.
It is very time consuming though.
And, what else is set incorrectly somewhere and I do not know it? There was also a very weird glitch - where "Albums" is listed in when running the music app in IOS5 (5.0.1), it instead had had the name of the one song! That is now also fixed.

Were these ringtones purchased from the iTunes Store?
If so and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
This will transfer all content purchased from the iTunes Store that is available on your iPhone, and this should include ringtones purchased from the iTunes Store. This will create duplicates in your iTunes library of songs purchased from the iTunes Store, and the same for any video, but the duplicates can be deleted from your iTunes library.

Loss of Music and Video and 3rd party apps not working on 3G

I've had to restore my 3G iphone about 10x now. The phone keeps "losing" my music and video, and then the 3rd party apps don't work. A reset does not help, I have to restore my phone and set it up as a new phone each time. I went to the Genius Bar, they gave me a new phone, but said it was likely a software issue. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a way to fix it? I waste like 2 hours re-syncing my phone every time this happens. I'm so disappointed with this iPhone 3G...I wish I hadn't sold my original iPhone and could switch back to that. Please, any help that anyone can offer would be GREATLY appreciated.

On an iPhone 4s version 5.1.1 it is full with music and I cannot take an update. what are the steps to get rid of the music which is backed up to the cloud.

You can use iTunes to sync all the music off your phone by unchecking "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings, then clicking Apply at the bottom to sync your phone. After updating, sync your music back to your phone.

I have a IPhone 5 and Iphone 5s. Both are set up with the same account ID and running IOS 8.0.2. When the phones are connected to the same Wifi at home, both phones will ring when someone call in to one of the phone. Anyway to solve this problem?

If you answered using the wrong phone, then anyone calling the other number will not get through. Anyway to solve this problem?

Thanks for the question. It sounds like your devices are set up to use continuity together. Specifically, it sounds like you are signed into the same Apple ID in FaceTime, and have iPhone Cellular Calls enabled. To resolve your issue, simply disable this setting:
Connect your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch using Continuity

Turn off iPhone cellular calls
To turn off iPhone Cellular Calls on a device, go to Settings > FaceTime and turn off iPhone Cellular Calls.

Tell your wife to get her own Apple ID. If you do not want continuity/handoff to work with calls, on both devicesgo to Settings==>>FaceTime==>> Turn OFF iPhone cellular calls.
