I phone problems sending lots of texts

Hi there,
I am tearing my hair out because I need to send a text message to a large group (not a group text where everyone else gets all the replies) and once i have spent ages selecting each member it then wont send. SMS is on in settings imessage is on MMS is on but no joy. So much for a good business phone!
I remember having the same problems with my old 3gs iphone as well. Can anyone offer some help? I would be most grateful.

Problems sending and receiving texts, please need help ASAP!

So for the past few days I have had trouble receiving texts on my Samsung Intensity II. I can send them just fine but when receiving them they are either very very late or they dont show up at all. Why is this? What should I do to fix it?
Here are the questions I need answered:
1. How do I improve this and start being able to receive texts again? I havent been able to receive any texts for the last few hours.
2. I dialed *228 and chose option 2 to update my roaming thinking it might help but it didnt. I can still send text messages but havent received any. All it did was remove the Verizon Wireless banner from the top of my phone. Is this bad? I sort of want that back..is it bad that its missing? Does it mean *228 was detrimental to my phone? How do I get the banner back?
3. Lastly, is there a way to possibly reset my phone and fix this problem WITHOUT deleting my texts and photos?
I really need some help with this ASAP. I'm in a long distance relationship that requires the use of my phone quite a bit and its irritating not to be able to really use it.

Now, I was going through settings, checking on things. Went to phone settings and then NAM settings, my phone was set to NAM 1. I didn't change it but instead accidentally pressed down on the already selected NAM 1. Now I cant even send messages because it cant authenticate the network! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!
I have tried restarting the phone, removing the battery pack and now I am having more trouble than ever before, since the NAM restart I havent been able to send or receive anything with my phone and I am extremely frustrated at this point. HELP PLEASE!
Edit: Seemed to have fixed the NAM issue, I am no longer getting the network authentication failed message when I try to send messages. I can send again but still can no longer receive...help?

Problem sending pictures by text

When I send a photo by text message, it does not work. It is always coming up with 'General Problems'. I have tried everything and I cannot figure it out. I can send the pictures to my Facebook, just not by text. Any suggestions??

Oh. I did not realize that. I am sure that I used to send images by text before. So, BBM can only be used with other BlackBerry users? Can it be used somehow with someone has an iphone or samsung?

Problem sending Pictures via Text to Cell Phone / email

Recently my Brother tried sending 8 pictures to me and my other two Brothers, yes there are four of us.
Brother sending pic's is using; A 4S iphone w/ ATT but says, "that's never mattered before".
My wife and I have Verizon Fios triple play and I never received the text message to my LG_VN150 phone I can receive and send, but it costs me.
He then sent the text to my wife's' cell phone a Galaxy S3 and she never received them. And, finally to our gmail account, four of the pic's for a total of 443KB made it, the other four were replaced with empty icons. The total of all eight (about 1MB) should not have exceeded attachment limits for our gmail.
My question:
Do any of the Adminstrators or Moderators of this email forum know of any filtering that Vz would use between ATT and Vz??

Some phones also have an attachment button (looks like a paper clip) that when pressed, gives a pop-up with various choices, including attaching an image or photo.
If it's a matter of having the photo in the text but the message won't send ... you'll need to ensure your mobile data is turned on. Picture texts won't send/receive over wi-fi (and some phones are quirky and also require that you turn off the wi-fi).

Every time I text my wife's I phone it sends the same text to me.

I share an apple account with my wife. Every time I text her I phone from my I phone I get the same message sent back to me.

When you use the same AppleID to setup iMessage, you both end up sharing the same iMessage account. The cleanest solution to your problem is for one of you to get another AppleID and use that for your iMessage, thus completely separating eachothers iMessage accounts.

My i phone cannot send photos with texts

My i phone used to be able to attach a photo to a SMS text message but since mid July the option to do this has just disappeared! I have restarted, and updated.

SMS is text only.
MMS is photo/video/sound file included with the text.

Help, phones not sending nor recieving texts/calls

just as the title says. every phone on my plan is unable to make/recieve any and all calls or texts. data is also unsuable so only wifi works. 2 hours ago everything worked fine and now nothing. i have my bill completely paid and im only halfway through my billing cycle. any ideas?

Problems sending long SMS on N8

I am having problems sending long SMS texts. Whenever I try to write out a text that is longer than a few sentences, the screen just goes off and the message disappears. The screen just goes back to the inbox and the half written text is nowhere to be seen. It is driving me up the wall! I have updated to the latest software in the last couple of weeks so I don't think it is that. If anyone has any ideas please help!

I don't know... but could you try this:
Create a very long sms (more than 160 char) via phone UI and save it to phone's drafts folder -> does PC Suite shows that in one message?

I am having tremendous difficulty sending simple voice text messages, or typed text messages to non I-phone users. Picture text messages will not send at all and can only be sent to other i-phone users. Is anyone else haing this problem ?? Big concern

Well this is stupid - I wrote the question above and now it is telling me the message is blank - how dumb is this.

Simple text messages are sporadic and seem to be impacted by whether I incluse a subject or not - picture texts will not go at all.

It's a corporate phone so will need to check. Will not send text messages to non I-phones if they contain a "subject" or a picture. Wierd - regular voice or typed text messages are fine.

I lost my iphone and activated my number with an old phone. Problem is people with iphones are now sending me blank texts. How do I fix this?

I had an iPhone 4s but left it on my car and drove off. Now I have activated a temporary phone my mom had on hand (Lotus) while I save up for a new iPhone.
Is there a list out there in cyber space somewhere that lists all the iPhone numbers because now people who have iPhones send me blank text messages? I have been able to isolate this down to only happening when they send me an "iMessage" but I don`t understand why I keep getting them? Even people I had never texted with before losing my phone are sending me these blank messages. How do I fix this?

If you registered you iPhone with Apple you may want to try unregistering it by:
Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
Log in if not already logged in.
Click on ">" to the right of the phone listing
Click "unregister"
This may help unregister you iPhone with the iMessage server, allowing texts sent to you from iPhones to be sent as normal SMS/MMS rather than iMessages.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

IPhone 4 cannot send/recieve calls/texts but is still able to connect to the internet. What is wrong with the phone and how do I fix it?

A friend of mine has an iPhone4 (not 4s) and she has been dropping it when she was drunk. She also lost it for nearly a week and it got handed back to her, luckily. She blocked the phone after she lost it so that other's couldn't use her contract (which is paid by her father). When she received the phone back, she asked O2 to unblock it an they gave her a new sim card and asked her to wait 24 hours. It started working again, for about a day, where she could receive and send texts/calls and Internet - the lot! But after that day, she can no longer get any signal on her phone to send or receive calls or texts. We have tried putting the sim card in another phone to see if that was the problem, but it worked fine with full signal, so we're guessing that O2 aren't the problem. I'm guessing that it is the phone but I'm not sure whether it's a hardware issue or software. We've recently installed the new iOS5 today and it still doesn't work correctly. Do you think that some hardware needs to be replaced? I was wondering if anyone knew if the phone signal and 3G signal run on the same antena or different ones in the 4S?

oh my god, i can't believe i am having the exact same situation as yours. i lost my phone for about 2 weeks and got it back. when it was lost I asked O2 to block it and later I asked them to unblock it after I got my phone back. My internet seems to be working fine, but I cant receive or make calls. I went to apple store to tell them about that, they did a factory setting, but still can't get it working and later told me that its not the phone's fault but O2's fault because I could see the O2 on top, with no any bars and she assumed that i would not have been able to see the O2 written on top if it wasn't O2 fault. I told them that I can use the internet from O2 however, but in reply she asked me to show the internet (i still wonder what she meant by that), I tried to explain that the internet is from my data plan, but no... she insisted me on showing the internet, i wonder what exactly did she wanted to prove by that. Or maybe she was in a hurry to get home, because it was almost at the end of the day. Anyway I have changed my sim and it seems to be working fine on another phone, but its the same problem in my iphone 4. I haven't been able to use my phone for more than a month now and its really frustating. I have booked another appointment with apple day after tomorrow, just hoping for the best now
