I phone sync erasing songs down loaded right to the phone
i hope someone can help me with my new g3 iphone sync problem. if i download songs right to my phone and then go to sync my phone it will erase the songs that i put directly to the phone. not using the computer. songs i put on the computer first then the phone are good. no problem with apps i dont think. i did lose 15 bucks on this problem so i have not synced my phone for a bit. hope to get some help!!!!
Did you have sync ALL items checked?
Did you blast right thru the question asking if it should copy your purchased music to your computer the first time you synced?
Go to itunes on your computer and re-download those songs. (you shouldn't get charged again if you use the same itunes account).

If you live in the US launch the iTunes store, then tap Purchases, then the "not on this phone" tab. If you don't live in the US you will have to buy them again, unless the iTunes Store support staff takes pity on you when you email them with a request for help.
BTW, how many songs can you download between daily syncs? -

when i was updating the progression on the phone stop for at least a hour, so i unplugged it and i works but having issue with texts not getting to the person i sent them to, and when looking at my texts it hangs up and screen looks like the text is trying to turn but i have to turn phone off and start again.
The **** phone when i hook it to charger cord it backs up and i am sure the back up is not a fully loaded back up update.
But hey i don't want to make i worse!
It never went all the way through the process the line that highlights when it doing updates. I have run the diags from the site and it says all is good but i feel i have done something wrong??????

I upgraded from Iphone 3g to iphone 4. I had to update my macbook pro to Lepard just to sync. the **** thing with the new iphone 4. I bought and updated to lepard. Now when I try to sync itunes does not recognize my new iphone 4 as mine and wants to erase everything I have bought using the phone before it will sync! It says everything on the phone now will be cleared in order to sync it with my existing info on the computer from my previous iphone. How can I just get everything from my current iphone 4 into itunes, basically add it to the info from my previous iphone 3g that is currently in my itunes? I dont want to lose what I have on my phone currently....I paid money for half the apps for crying out loud.
I was so frustrated by this when I first bought the phone that I just pushed it out of my mind and NEVER synced it. Please help...Nope - you cannot restore a backup from a newer iOS version on to a device running an older iOS version. The reverse works, but in your case to use your backup, you must update to iOS 7.0.3 - no other option if you want to use that backup.

I have just noticed the the top right on the phone LCD, if you press down the lcd moves down and makes a squeaky noise. Do you reckon that's normal ?

My Iphone 4 shuted down after tried to instul ios 7.0. I 'm only seeing the sing of iTune and USB plug right on the phon's screen
I really need help because that's only phone i got.Just back from Genius Bar and two other people at my table had the same problem. Their 4Ss aren't charging either. One of them had a fried board according to the tech. At least my HW checked out OK. It just won't charge.
The tech tried to tell me that it was because my connector was corroded, which I told him was kind of a weak argument since evidence points to that the update has something to do with it.
They're seeing a lot of these and it looks like they already have a script.
Luckily I had enough juice left to recycle it for like $180, so I picked up a 5S with a new 2 year.
It looked to me like this is going to blow up pretty big. Like class action lawsuit big.
If you have an iPhone 4 or 4S, and you haven't updated it to iOS 7, don't for now. See if a patch comes out that doesn't brick your phone. Or get an induction charger maybe? Don't just update and expect absolutely no problems because too many people are having problems right now. -
I loaded iTunes on a new laptop. I copied and pasted my albums to a 4G stick and down loaded them to the new laptop. Placing them in, Libraries – Music – iTunes and than in Itunes used File – add file to library. So far so good. For what ever reason one of the CDs would not load onto the stick. I got the orginal CD and loaded directly to Itunes. Now when I look in Libraries – Music – iTunes it’s not there but it is in and plays in iTunes. What should I have done or should I be doing? It's not a unique situation - happens all the time, smaller hard drives getting filled up.
It's also easy to fix. I just moved my itunes content to a bigger hard drive.
First I made a backup of the itunes database file - iTunes Library.itl. Just in case anything went wrong.
Nothing did go wrong, but I'd have it in case anything DID go wrong. That file holds ratings, playcounts, Date Added, and other metadata.
Second, in itunes change the preferences > advanced tab to tell itunes to put everything on G:
Set the itunes folder location to something like G:Media or G:iTunes
This will affect all FUTURE additions to itunes and not do anything to the existing locations.
Make sure the checkbox for "Keep itunes organized" is NOT checked. I also left the "Copy files when adding" unchecked.
Third, to move all the files to G: without itunes losing the paths, run the File > Library > Organize > Consolidate command. This will need to run a while, so be patient as it copies all the files to the new G: location. This does NOT delete the originals. You will have to do that.
Fourth, make sure everything in itunes is OK and you can play stuff in your library. If you're really cautious you can run a script to check for missing/dead tracks. -
I cannot down load Yosemite from the App Store. It keeps saying there is an error. I have Mavericks installed now. Can I download Yosemite anywhere else besides the App Store?

When I down load a file the down loads window opens but no files are listed there. (This also happens under Thunderbird). I have updated both T'bird and Firefox in the last couple of weeks. The download window was working ok , say, about 3 weeks ago. About then I cleared an existing lsit of files. Since then, nothing is shown even tho I have downloaded a few files.

I have finally figured this out.
The VMM service runs under the Local System account, I changed it to use the domain account I logged in with. I also had to change the SQL service account to use the same domain account the VMM service runs under.
Prior to performing the above actions, I modified the certificate in MMC > Certificates to not use the Smart Card option from the users profile. Shown below. To make this modification. Follow these steps.
1. Open MMC
2. Open > File > Add/Remove Snap-ins
3. Select Certificates, and click Add (ensure Current – User is selected)
4. Click OK
5. Navigate to > Personal > Certificates
6. Double click on the user Cert
7. Select the Details Tab, > click the Edit Properties
8. Select “Enable only the following purposes
9. Uncheck Smart Card Logon
After the above actions was performed, I then modified the service account the VMM and SQL service was using to use a domain account, and things started working.

My Ipod nano 6Th sometimes shuts down when I connect the phones, sometimes it not shuts down, but the volume and standby buttons do not work. If I not connect the phones everything works fine. But with the phones connected it goes crazy. I alredy reset, restore and nothing. If I reset and let the phones connect the up and down volumes buttons start to work. But the power/stand by button don´t. I need to disconect the phones to the power/stand by button starts to works. Anyone already have simmilar problem?
A windows error message appears saying iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to shut down.
let's get a crash log from itunes, and send it to the Apple engineers for a look.
Typically, you'll need to configure Dr. Watson on your PC in order to generate crash logs. Windows start menu -> Run. Type in "cmd". Hit return. At the prompt in the command line window that comes up, type in
drwtsn32 -i
And hit return.
This will create crash logs in Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\. There'll usually be a file in here called "drwtsn32.log"
prior to collecting the itunes crash log, delete any existing crash logs in there. (we want to make sure we send the correct crash log.)
Generate the crash, collect the crash log, and and send it as an attachment to this email address.

Adding to Jon, that single /20 block is a huge block , you could brake for example to 16 /24 networks, 254 ip host per /24 network.
Example :
175.106.16.0/24
172.106.17.0/24
x.x.18.x/24
x.x.19.x/24
x.x.20.x/24
x.x.21.x/24
and so on...
The key to keep in mind is how you would want these blocks be announce, I suggest you do thorough analysis of your company internet architecture , present and future and come up with proper allocation of your blocks to minimize the re-addressing and re-advertizing nightmares.
another example could be out of a /24 off your /20 block say 175.106.18.0/24 can be further brake down to smaller blocks to be announced in various sites , again , like Jon indicated in his post, it all depends on your company's requirements for example such as branch offices having their own internet ISP where you may have public web servers requiring public IP addresses, or even requiring public IP pool blocks for various purposes etc..
Another example of further braking down your /24 you can have two /26's off that 175.106.18.0/24 that is still part of the /20 network , which could be 175.106.18.0/25 and 175.106.18.128/25 allowing 126 public IP addresses per network , and have these blocks being announced by different office branches that have their own ISP , this is just an example , or announce both and separate the routing at the perimeter device, there are so many variables in allocating and braking down that huge /20 block.

If you double tap the home button, and then swipe your finger to the right, make sure you DO NOT have the Lock Orientation button enabled.
You know it is disabled if there is no padlock in the middle of the icon. -

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy...
Reset all settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings.
If the issue persists...
Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore
