I photo frozen

when I open I photo I get a spinning dial and the message loading photos. this goes on forever, I am sure I've done something with the libraries but don't know how to get to a point where the program opens?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Select one of those generic files in the Finder and bring up the Info window (Command-I). Then under the Open with menu select Preview. Click on the apply to all button. See if that won't jump start those files.
Next, if needed, try to download and run BatChmod on the iPhoto Library folder with the settings shown here, substituting your account name for mine. You can either type in the path to the folder or just drag the folder into that field. See if that will help.
Then, if needed, launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select all of the options. Post back with your results.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

Zen Sleek Photo frozen and can't turn

A friend gave me his Zen sleek photo to see if I could figure out why it was frozen. I have had it in recovery mode and tried all the options there.. I downloaded and tried to redownload the firmware but when I do that it says already has that or download error. Photo frozen after editing on the 4s! Help?

I was editing a photo on my brand new iPhone 4s and after I tried to "constrain" the photo there was no way to save it and return to the camera roll. I was able to see the photo on my computer and deleted it, however it remains frozen on the editing screen when I open my "photos". Any suggestions? Thanks.

Zen Micro Photo frozen on Creative scr

Hi, I have had my Zen Micro Photo for three months and it has worked fine untill today. When I turned it on it went to the creative screen like it usually does and it just stayed there. I tried taking out the battery and putting it in again but it did the same thing. It doesn't even do anything when I hook it up to the computer. What can I do? I'm freaking out here please help me!!!!!!

It could be that the microdri've is "stuck" or in failure.
While the MicroPhoto is turned off, try tapping (well do it very firmly and with enough force) on the palm of your hand, restart the MicroPhoto and see if it boots up completely.
If not, a firm smack on a table top or counter may unstick the heads of the microdri've if that is what's preventing the microdri've from completely booting up.

U2 Ipod Photo frozen after incomplete restore

I wanted to connect my ipod to a new PC. Nothing was wrong with mz iPod before I tried to connect it with mz new PC!
I loaded new iTunes 7.0 and after connecting my ipod it asked if I would like to restore the ipod , that was fine with me since all my audio files are also on my new PC
After the restore process the program asked me to complete the process disconnecting from the PC and connecting to a wall socket.
It did not get past the language selection! It just FROZE.
Now it is alreadz a day on the english menu item but I cannot select it !
I just did a reset but the same screen freeze comes back on !!My PC and iTunes do not recognise the iPod anymore...
How can I proceed ? The Apple advices always assume that iTunes recognises the iPod but what if it does NOT?

Have you tried resetting the iPod? For info, see here: How to reset your iPod
It may take quite a few tries, and this is best done when connected to power.
Also, if nothing else seems to help, this method has proven to have sucess:
Connect your iPod to your USB port for a few seconds, then promptly disconnect it (without resetting or ejecting it).
Do this with your iPod with a AC adaptor, a carcharger, etc.
This could possibly work to sucessfully break the iPod out of its frozen mode if no other attempts are working.

Repaired iPod Photo frozen again already

My 30GB iPod Photo froze up on me a little over a week ago and my computer failed to recognize it anymore. The screen froze on the apple logo and refused to fully boot up. The backlight also would not dim. I tried resetting it multiple times (toggling hold switch and everything), while it was plugged in and when it wasn't. Nothing. I let the battery drain and tried to reset it again, nothing. I let it sit for 24 hours unplugged like the support site suggested, and nothing.
Finally I gave in and sent it off to be repaired. I just got it back yesterday (they sent me a brand new one as far as I can tell), and this morning the same EXACT problem is happening again. This time, on a different computer. I just got a new Dell Inspiron 700m running Windows XP (same as other machine) and when I tried to run iPod updater on my iPod, my machine and my iPod froze. When I unplugged the iPod it rebooted itself and stuck on the apple logo again.
Has anyone had this happen? I am loathe to send it off again as I'll be moving overseas in one week and won't get it back before I go. Also, apparently there's no guarantees it will actually get fixed this time around. Any tricks? Anybody have a phone number where I can talk to an actual human being? Any help would be VERY appreciated!!!

Does anybody have an idea or even better a solution for this or is it possible to make a feature request to the product management to get soon a neat solution?

IPod photo frozen!

While sitting on the subway my iPod has frozen. I have tried to reset the middle button+menu, it resets, and the same thing happens, i have re-charged it, and it worked until i turned it off, then the same thing has happened
I do not want to bring it to the apple store because of all the music i am going to lose because of the recent computer format...
please help!

purchased last week for my son. received it by
mail on 0-2-06. worked fine for .5 days. On
0-4-06 it started acting up where the computer
would not recognize it. Finally got that
working after unplugging and plugging back in.
Later that day it would turn on but get stuck on
the Creative splash screen. No functionality,
no menu, nothing. Tried the hard reboot by
taking the battery out and replacing while
holding the on button. Goes to the recovery
screen but once you choose ANY of the options,
it gets stuck on that process. Nothing happens.
You need to pull the battery. Can't even turn it off !!
Tried updating the firmware to the version for
Windows XP but because it is not functioning at
all our computer will not recognize it.
One last thing, when you turn it on for the
first 20-30 seconds, you can hear the dri've
spinning or trying to spin.
Is there a way to reset this unit's? What's wrong with this thing?

That is a Hard Dri've failure. Take it back to where you got it for replacement, or contact Creative Support for warranty.

Did you try opening from the Applications folder?

I would recommend closing any open applications in multitasking and restarting the device. If unfamiliar with multitasking, I have included a screenshot on how to process an application close.

Once these steps are processed, attempt to send the photo again.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Frozen in Photo Downloader

PLEASE HELP. I am newbie to album starter and to the forum. I am frozen in adobe album starter 3.0 Photo Download mode. It grabbed pictures from my picture card, but now is frozen in the Photo Downloader mode, with a text box that reads: "Sending to application...Please wait." But it has been like that for many hours. I appreciate any help so that I don't lose these photos, which already are gone off my picture card. Thank you.

SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME and I finally logged of and can't find my pic's!! It had asked me if I wanted to delete pic's from camera, and I said no, then ADOBE flashed on saying registed now or later I hit later then next thing I knew it said pic's have been deleted from camera and system froze. NOW I CAN"T FIND MY PICTURES WHERE ARE THEY IN MY COMPUTER PLEASE HELP!!! They were my husbands and he is MAD!

• AVI or .avi is no Video Format/Codec - it is a container and usually contains something iMovie can not use OK.
Open it with QuickTime-player and then open inspector (cmd+I) and read
• Video Format/Codec: nnnnnnnnnnnnn
What does it read ? (all of it)

• import it into iPhoto and in iMovie import from title iPhoto Movies at top in Events window - or
• convert it into streamingDV .dv or AIC and use this.
AND - my read 24fps - I would convert this to PAL 25fps or to NTSC 29.97 (if for US) by JES_Deinterlacer.
