I play farmville but since the update of 5.0 I go through all the phases of sending gifts, etc but when I get to the final page - it shows just the loading bar all the way to the max but never goes to my farm. Have to get on IE to play - sad face.

I turned off the accelrator months ago. That was the first thing I did. It helped some. The problem is getting progressively worse, so it seems like every upgrade in the past 3-4 months is causing the problem.

The nice thing about owning this overpriced POS is that Apple not only doesn't support it, but also doesn't want to hear about anything negative regarding it. This problem is not unheard of when upgrading from Snow Leopard. It is usually solved by completely deleting the existing printer in System Preferences > Print & Scan, and adding it again.

once you finalize the addressing the list disappears, so how can is affect the subject . For that matter is disappears when it looses focus.
I have heard of a bug that selects the name that is highlighted when the mouse leaves the selection box if no address is selected. Perhaps that is your issue. Until the issue is fixed I suggest you use tab to leave the address box

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that didn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Setting

When i go to type in pages, nothing shows? I recently had an authorized apple technician replace my hard drive and update my operating system to MAC OS X 10.6.8 . Are they related. I Have Pages 08' 3.0.1

When I go to type in Pages, nothing shows. I am able to open up and click on word processing template etc. I have a fairly old IMac and just updated my operating to OSX 10.6.8. I'm wondering if the upgrade affected Pages - have Pages 08 version 3.0.1. tried restarting but did not work.

My computer starts, bar completes half way and the system shuts down. Dont know what happened.

I suggest you need to erase your drive and reinstall OS X. Be prepared for the possibility that your hard drive has failed.
Install or Reinstall Mavericks or Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.

Recently I updated all my anti spyware/malware software, and deleted all cookies and history. Since then I have been unable to load specific pages in the Gardens of Time Facebook game. I can play the game, but can't add neighbours, and send gifts. These pages should bring up lists of my current GOT friends, all my facebook friends and a recommended list of request recipients.

Why are photoshop icons showing up as color bars in AE6 even though the files are not missing?

I have imported the file numerous times, they actually show up in After Effects. If I render it renders fine, however the icons next to the photoshop files show up as color bars.
Can anyone hep me figure this out?

Imac won't play burned cds since itunes+ update

After I updated itunes to 7.2 my imac will no longer recognize any CDs I have burned. I get the standard "This disc has not been formatted" etc. The CDs will play on a regular CD player but not the imac. The imac will play all of my commercial CDs without problem. I have tried the utility disk repair and it says it finds no problem. I have updated permissions.
I downloaded the update a 2nd time and tried reinstalling it but I don't think it is since as soon as I click install it says installation successful after about 10 seconds.
Any ideas what could be going wrong? Seems that if it were the CD drive it wouldn't play the commercial CDS either.
