I plugged in my iphone to download photos tomy mac and it downloaded 5,000 images which included multiples of my photos, aol home email pages and all other kinds of things that I did not want and don't know where they came from. How do I fix this without spending hours individually deleting pages of stuff?

iCloud is not designed to "store" photos (as in long term storage). iCloud can be used to sync photos from one device to another (photo stream) and to store a backup of the camera roll. But that's pretty much it.
Camera roll is the group of all photos taken by the device (but not other photos synced to the device from another source). Your extra storage on icloud will do you no good. The recommended way of storing photos on a device is to sync them to a computer.
So, your questions..

3) On a computer, deleting large groups of photos is relatively painless. not so on a device.
4) You can't access photos on iCloud because they can't be store in icloud. You can't view/access photos in a backup on icloud unless you restore a backup to a device.

Apparently, you have set up the same iCloud account on both devices or you are syncing both devices under the same user ID on the same computer and have ended up syncing both of them with the same address book on the computer.

search.conduit.com is a malware that has infected several users. Do you see a toolbar from Conduit? If so, you should try to uninstall it and see if it helps. Removing Conduit completely does not seem to be a straightforward thing. Different users have had varying levels of success with different methods. Some of them are listed in these posts:

We have 2 iPhone 5s - they do not use the same charger - why?

We each have an iPhone 5s. One was bought online in September - the other was bought in a store last week. They do not have the same charging port. The recently purchased one uses the same charger as an iPad mini - the older 5s needs a totally separate charger. What's up with this?

All Apple iPhone 5, 5c and 5s use the Apple Lightening connector for charging. There are no exceptions to that.
Are you sure these are both iPhone 5s and are you sure they are both genuine Apple products?

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Don't think I need two FireFox icons, especially the one that says FireFox (2)

I am guessing that this is just something pinned to the Windows launcher, and so someone more familiar with Windows may do better at answering it.

Note however there is a problem with some Firefox installations on Windows,and that the registry could have been updated incorrectly so that you appear to have 2 copies of windows when only one is present. In such circumstances do NOT try uninstalling or you loose Firefox, and do NOT use any option to remove personal information,becaause that tries to destroy bookmarks, passwords and other settings from all normally installed versions of Firefox.

Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 SP3, Firefox 3.6.11, Zonealarm 8.0.400.020. This started 3 days ago. I thought it might be cured by updating to Firefox 3.6.11 but no such luck. I am able to click on the home page icon and return to Google.

it wasnt listed at ALL on my toolbars, and when i originally open firefox, the first page is google. when id start a new tab however, this stupidness was there. i had to go into Control Panel->Internet Properties and change it there. Hope it helps you also :)
