I just cut and pasted photos from my Iphone into my HP.
NOw when I go and try to open the files from the computer it's giving me an error:
INVALID IMAGE
The file format is not supported or is invalid
WHat's confusing is that all files copy into my computer are already JPG. I have not changed anything, simply cut photos from my phone and copy them in my computer.
I need help !!! I have a lot of my baby photos and videos that I really want to recover.

Try using a photo import utility or application for this instead of doing it the archaic manual way. Even Windoze includes a scanner and camera wizard that can be used for this.

I do not know how it is done, but you MAY be able to buy her a regular subscription and pay with your credit card... just not the Education version that has strict requirements

You may goto control panel and then go to program and features.
Select the Acrobat pro and chose the option change from the top. Fallow the onscreen instruction a windows will pop up where you need to choose repair.

There is no fix. It simply means that the software is outdated. Adobe would need to release a newer non-PPC version that supports Lion. They may have done that already, I don't know.

You need camera raw 8.4 for your camera, if it’s Digital Rebel T5 EOS 1200D EOS Kiss X70. It is not compatible with PSE11; so it’s a bit odd if that software was bundled with the camera except that it will work with jpegs. I suggest you download and install the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your CR2 files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the DNG files will editable in PSE11(keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)

HELP! I attempted to erase free space and now I can't open any files!

Hi everyone! I hope you can help me with my problem.
Last night, I attempted to erase free space from my HD using disk utility. During the operation, the computer hung, so it wasn't able to complete 'creating temporary file' operation. So i had to stop the operation. And now, I can't open any files! Turns out my HD was full. But prior to my attempt to erase free space, I still had 25GB out of 55GB of free space. What happened? And how do I fix it? A lot of important files are in my HD and I don't want to lose any of it.
Hope somebody could help me. Thanks a lot!

Hi, Scary isn't it? I did the self same thing. Check your trash, you should see one or more disk images there. Empty the trash. All will be OK thereafter.
If they're not there, restart and either the system will sort itself out or they will appear in the trash, so empty it.

What happens when you try? Any error messages? What version of Word? Office 2004 does not work with Lion. You need Office 2008 or Office 2011.

Lightroom crashed and now I can't open the catalog - even after deleting the lock file.

Lightrooms crashed, which is a common occurrance. But, this last time was different. After I restarted it my catalog was not linked and all my settings were gone. I tried opening the catalog through the file menu, but absolutely nothing happens. I tried going to the folder and clicking on it but this only opens lightroom with no catalog. After having scanned this forum I found that I need to delete the .lock file, but after doing that the same things happen. Any suggestions on how to open my catalog? Will reinstalling Lightroom help?

The problems mostly happen when I am using X-Y compare in Library mode. It shows black rectancles over the tops of the sections that contain the photos and these flash. They aren't always the same size, but are only on the top of the section - never big enough to completely cover the photos. Then I get anywhere from one to about four or five extra windows stacked on top of the Lightroom Icon at the bottom of my screen (I use Windows 8) opening and closing, though there isn't enough time for me to click on them and read them because my computer gets so slow that my mouse actin is delayed by a few seconds. And, to shut Lightroom down, I need to use Windows task manager because clicking on the little red box with the X in the upper right corner accomplishes nothing. I've updated my mac mini lion server to mountain lion server. I have an exentsive use of wiki in my education environment. Everything looks great, except, when uploading an PDF file to the wiki document folder I can no longer download the file - I can preview the file on the wiki page, but I can no longer download the file to my iPad / iBook.
Come on Apple - you did not remove that feature!!!!
Oh - the same problem comes to pages documents etc.
What to do - my students starts monday - do I need to role-back my server?

The problem is not in the Wiki itself but in the frontend version that gets displayed when you browse it from an ipad.
The webpage looks different on the ipad because of that. If you use another browser on the ipad and you get the "default" frontend you can upload just fine.
You can also disable this ipad version alltogether but you have to go in modify the code to do it. This will display the "default" frontend for every device.

Ah ok now i see its a way more than an icon replacement, Well what program did you use to use this theme? For example "candybar" has a restore button.

I just puchased the latest Adobe Acrobat XI Standard.
I put in the Serial Key number but my computer tells me that a qualifying product could not be found on my computer so I can't use the adobe product. So now I can't open any files or attach pdf files onto emails without this message coming up. I've un-installed the "Adobe Acrobat XI Standard twice! with no luck.
I need it sorted ASAP as I'm trying to work! Any suggestions?

DotBellaParis if you are being asked for a qualifying product then it would appear you purchased an upgrade to Acrobat XI Standard. You should have the opportunity to enter the serial number for your previous purchase of Acrobat. If you did not intend to purchase an upgrade then I would recommend submitting a return request.
