When you saw this dialog box, did you choose "Erase and Sync"?
If you did, your iPhone was erased, then your iTunes Library was transferred to it. If your iTunes Library was empty, your iPhone will be also.
Your previously purchased music, apps, books, and videos are still yours. You just have to download them again.

I recently bought a new ipod 4 gen 32 G. I had an 8 g .I'm trying to turn on automatic downloads so when I buy a song from Itunes it automatically downloads without plugging it into computer to sync. When I turn on Auto Downloads, It say...This device is already Associated with an apple ID You can auto-download purchases on this device with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this device with a different Apple ID for 30 days. When I click OK it turns th downloads off..Can someone help me? I've returned the 8g to regular factory settings as I'm giving it to a friend.

Unfortunately, iTunes was told to restore all data from an old backup onto the new phone, and that cannot be undone.
However, prior to this, iTunes 10 would have also asked to make a backup of the phone before doing the restore. If the user elects to say "yes" to perform the backup, then iTunes would have backed up the phone before erasing it.
Hopefully, that backup will still be available in iTunes, and if so, it would be backed up under the new phone's name prior to it being erased and restored (if the name of the new phone is different to the name of the old phone).
To check if iTunes has a backup of the phone prior to the restore, look in the Devices category in iTunes Preferences. All backups made are timestamped and are identified with the iPhone's name at the time of the backup. Look for:
• a backup of the phone using the new phone's name prior to the erase and restore, or
• a backup with the same date and time as that when the phone was erased and restored (not the date and time AFTER when the phone was erased and restored!). This may be the case if the new and old phones have the same name.
If a backup is available, you can erase and restore again using that backup. The phone will be restored with what would hopefully be the original image of the new phone.
If no backup was made prior to erasing and restoring the phone initially, then there is no way to
undo it, meaning your phone's original data has been lost.

Restore from backup and everything will be exactly as it was when the backup was created.
Restore as new and the device will be as if it just came out of the box. -
I have two Apple IDs because i travel frequently between Mexico and the US, and the apple stores offer different products, so i like to download music, movies and TV series from both sites.
Apparently apple changed the conditions, becauise until a few days ago i could log our from one account and log in from my other one. Yesterday i was at Miami International Airport and wanted to download a few chapters from one of my TV series (Walking Dead) to watch on my way to Mexico City, but a pop up window came up saying "this device is already associated with an apple id". Curoiously, the ID to which i was connected to was precisely the one under which i had bought weeks ago the chapters i was wanting to download from the cloud. So it says i have to wait 90 days to change apple id.... weard! probably i accepted these terms when dowloading a new IOS version, so legally I'm dead in complaining, but why is it that if i am paying for all that i buy as a model citizen i am now blocked from jumping from one apple id to another one???? I can certainly buy another ipad and have one with one id and another one with the other, but is there any other way i can keep the two in just one device?? If i don't use i-could would anything change? This is really making me mad, and is the first time i have thought of moving our of mac products into samsung or others and buy my music and movies somewhere else where stupid restrictions like this one do not exist. I just bought a t.v series but didnt downloading them all jut the first episode. But I have now tried to download the other episodes and a message comes up "This computer is already associated with an apple ID. If you download past purchases with your apple ID you cannot auto download or download past purchases with a different apple id for 90 days." but I havn't downloaded them before and the apple ID I have signed in with is my own?? Help I want to watch my tv series

Use it on the charger when possible. Recharge when the battery is around 50% when possible. Avoid to let the battery go down below 20%.

I just switch from a Windows 8 machine to a MacPro and when I try and sync my iPhone 5s for the first time it says that sync will erase everything on my phone because it is still synced to my old computer. Any suggestions?

There has never been a facetime app on the iphone.

If you both have seperate iTunes Store accounts then basically, yes, it is going "screw up" your wife's account.
iTunes Match is designed as a single-user service which is associated with one and only one iTunes Store account ID. If you have subscribed on your account and want to activate the service on another computer that is already signed in with an account the present account must be signed out and then iTunes signed into your account. This means the other computer will have complete access to your account and will only be able to make purchases on your account. iTM is not designed to be signed in and out at will. If she has apps purchased with her iTunes Store account they will not be able to be updated.
