My battery was fully charged. The notice for an update came up so I told it to start. Then the phone shut off and won't turn back on. When I plug it back in, I can hear it "revving" but it still won't turn on. Any ideas?
Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.

I have an iPhone 4 and my facebook app hasn't been updating this morning like others so I thought I'd try to delete the app, restart my phone, and redownload it..deleted facebook..turned phone off regularly & waited 30 seconds tried to turn phone on & it's stuck on the black screen w apple..I have already tried doing the reset by holding both home and lock botton & it flashes black and then I let go when the apple pops back up and still doesn't do anything more. I've plugged it in my computer and my computer isn't recognizing anything plugged in..also just now the screen just went black (the apple just went away) but the phone was off when I tried to push a button I plugged it into computer with it off & were back to the apple just sitting there. Any ideas or recommendations? The closest apple store is over an hour away

Computer just turned off and now won't turn back on!!
I have an IQ770 Touchsmart and while I was out of the room, it turned itself off. Now it won't even turn back on!!! I've unplugged and replugged and it won't do anything. What could have caused it? There was no power interruption, it's plugged into a power surge protector, my other desktop is working fine. I've been working on it all day, and now it's dead! What do I do? Can anyone help me?
Thanks!!!Ok, I've tried to plug it back in, and when the plug reaches a certain point, it pops sorta. Which tells me that it's the psu unit that's gone. This puter is only 2 years old. I've already had to send it in for a complete hard disk die, now this. It's a Touchsmart IQ770. Yes, made the mistake of getting one of the first ones. Not only that, it's Vista all the way. So, this computer is screwed both ways all the way. When it works, it's wonderful, but since it only works half the time, it's definitely not worth the money, time, headaches or worry that it entails to have. It's an expensive piece of @#*(!!!!) I do want to thank the people who tried to help me, sorta. Just put this into the next inquiry of the IQ770, It sucks!!!! Big green donkey dicks!!! Vista made it worse!!!

Computer won't turn on. PLEASE HELP!
Hi, my iMac's internet connection was a little dodgy yesterday, so after trying for an hour to turn it on, it didn't work. I switched the computer off, leaving it for a couple hours, in the hope it would work better when I got back.
I went back to the computer and tried to switch it on, only to hear the 'turn on' noise, go to the white page with the apple logo, when the screen would turn grey and a sign saying something like, 'Please restart your computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds' popped up.
I turned it off, and kept trying to turn it on, with this message still appearing.
We called up a business and we were told to insert the Mac OS X Leopard disk, and hold down the 'C' button. After that, the CD loaded and we went into 'Utilities' > 'Disk Utilities' > Verify > Repair Disk. When the check was complete, it showed that nothing was wrong with that part of the computer. (I'm guessing that it means rhere were no configuration parts missing or something..?)
Has anyone experienced anything similar to this or has anyone got any advice?
My computer is only 10 months old and I'm desperate to get it back as quickly as possible without losing my data.
I'm very appreciative to any help.

I have been reading alot on kernel panic's, and I was just double checking that if I completely reinstall leopard, will all my pictures, documents etc, be deleted?
If so, are there any other options??

I tried to update my iPhone 4 to the new iOS 7.0.2 but my phone said it needed to restore everything so i tried to do that and now it crashed. The screen is the Itunes screen saying its connected but i held down the home button trying to get it to turn on or something but it wont. I tried to go to Computer and go to iPhone but its not there and I disconnected and plugged it back in trying to get the window where you can upload photos i tried to get that up but it wont come up. Please I have no idea what I am doing and any advice would be helpful
it says iPhone can not be restored I dont know what else to do i have tried restoring it two times already...

Two nights ago my wife was surfing the web and the web page froze. She rebooted the computer and now it won't start up. The Apple shows on the screen and the circle begins to move but then it just stops. I tried holding down the option button during boot up but it doesn't help. I have an IMAC OS X 10.2.7. Hi ciao,
try to boot into safe-mode (hold down Shift-key during boot). Does that work? If not, reboot again but this time hold down Apple-s keys during boot. This will bring you into single user mode. Once you are there (white letters on black background) type
fsck -y
and hit "Enter". This will repair your directory. Repeat this step until you receive a message that your computer is o.k. Then type
reboot
and hit "Enter" again. -
Phone shut off and won't turn back on. Help!
I have a Razr Maxx and today it turned off for no apparant reason. I tried to turn it on but nothing. I also tried resetting it by holding down the volume buttons and power button but also got absolutely nothing. Before it shut off I had almost a full battery. When I plug it into the wall outlet the led on the front flashes white and then the screen shows the motorolla logo. After that, it goes to the battery charging screen as if the battery were completely dead. It just sits there at zero percent forever. I tried turning it on after and hour and still nothing, tried a reset again and same result.

I just went to update my iPhone 5S as it asked me to, and it got to the point with the apple logo on the screen and the black loading bar underneath, but then the screen went black and the phone now won't turn on? I went to plug it into my computer and it said "USB Device not recognised"..
