i need help cant get my computer to find i pod touch it keeps finding it as a digital camera

It is a digital camera. It should show up as such.

I dont know what happened, but when I first got my PC with vista 64, and had itunes installed with the iphone, everything worked. 3 days ago I reformatted my drives and reinstall windows and all my programs. I got itunes working with all my music and whatnot, but when I plug my iphone in to toss music on it, itunes wont read it. Windows knows it's there, but everytime I plug it in, the lower right hand corner the "windows is installing new driver blah blah" pops up, and then get an error message saying it couldnt install the driver. I go to device manager and windows thinks it's a digital camera. I did the whole update driver with the "c:\windows\system32\drivestore\usbaapl_" thing, and I got this message:
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.
(usb icon) Apple Mobile Device USB Driver
The system cannot find the file specified."
I have been googling the crap out of this and I am at wit's end with this. I've uninstalled/reinstalled itunes, cleaned registry, wiped all apple programs from the PC, anything google told me to, hahaha. Serious, I cant find any forum or web article to help me past this point. Please help...

I think I got it. I've had the same problem as you and many others. I went to device manager and found iPhone under imaging devices. Here's what I did:
Right-click -> properties -> driver tab -> update drivers (launches Hardware Update Wizard) select...
No, not this time (next) Install from a list ... (next) Don't search ... (next) Now there should be two choices under model. Select the Apple Mobile Device. This is not digitally signed so you'll get warnings but continue. When I did this iTunes picked up my iPhone right away.

Photoshop CS4 will never be able to directly open 5D Mark III images. Adobe stopped adding new camera support to Camera Raw version 5.x long ago. For ultimate integration and convenience you'll need to upgrade to Photoshop CS6.
But you have an alternative: You can download and install the latest DNG Converter software from Adobe. Then you will be able to convert your 5D Mark III images to DNG files, which Photoshop CS4 will be able to open.

In the Sun Seeker app, the camera wont start in 3d view?

When the Sun Seeker app is turned on and 3d view is selected the camera wont turn on. all I see is a orange "ether" that holds the data for the sun path. I find nothing in the settings that would affect this as a setting.

Cna a movie be ftored on sd card and played via camera card reader. i transfered my movie from itunes to sd card. i set up a new file renamed the movie to dscf ... name , it loaded tom ipad but ipad says it cannot open?

I want to play movie from camera card reader.i transferred the movie to sd card, I change the name to DSCF... and put in new folder created by my camera. the movie loads to ipad just fine but the ipad wont open it. what am I missing or it it not possible?

In THEORY, you can. However there are a lot of hoops to jump through. And the last time I played with it was when my device was running iOS7.
You put the movie file on an SD card. Follow the naming convention. Give it a file name of 8 characters. Put it in a folder named DCIM.
You can't watch the movie off the SD card. You have to import the movie onto your device (so you need plenty of free room) watch then delete.
What you may be running into is if those movies were downloaded from iTunes or some other source they may have digital rights management on them prohibiting you moving them around and watching them like you're trying to do.

You said now, so am I wrong to assume that it used to work?
What operating system does your computer run?
Does the webcam work for video, but not stills or does video not work as well?

4s front camera wont load

my iphone 4s front camera wont load! the back camera works... but not the front. it wont even work in cam wow apps, facetime, or anything.

Try clearing out your Camera Roll.
The next would be to Restore with your backup.
If still a problem, Restore as new, i.e. without your backup and see how it runs with nothing synced or downloaded to your iPhone.

Camera wont turn on. Thought it was the rear camera, because Torch app dont work, an that uses the flash. so bought genuine Apple rear camera re-placement, fitted it, camera still not working. The camera icon works, but the camera don't open.

Reset, Restore. If the front screen has been replaced there is chance capacitors near Front Camera were damaged. Usually for Back Camera to work, Front Camera must initialize correctly first, so it could all be Front Camera problem. Also there are water damage susceptable power IC for Back Camera and the Flash which could be damaged. Also the new Camera could be faulty. Try a known good working Back Camera. Curious where you bought a Genuine Apple part, Apple does not sell parts.

Adobe Lightroom wont read raw files

I have a Nikon D3000 i have been shooting in raw and using lightroom 3 for about 3 or 4 months, it has always worked fine, but today when i tried to upload some pictures it said that it couldnt read the files. I uninstalled and then reinstalled lightroom and downloaded an update, but it still wont work. I dont know what to do to make it work, any ideas would be greatly appriciated.

Connect the camera/card reader to your computer and drag the image files into some temporary folder (i.e. on your desktop).
A cable/card reader/port can go bad from one hour to the other, so you have to find out the base of your problem by just using alternate hardware.

5230 camera wont start up =[

anyone have any idea why my nuron 5230's camera wont start up? it just gives me a blank black screen... and when i try to switch it to video mode it tells me "memory is full switch memory?" then i click yes but it just crashes and brings me back to the home screen... anyone have any idea whats wrong? or any fixes? i already tried to take the battery off, restore to factory settings, and that reset [press and hold green, red, camera, and power button till phone boots up] but its still like this... please help! thanks...

Help guys... my Power mac G5 wont read the original hard drive and the one i put into it.
is there any way i can access the hard drives from my macbook pro and re install the operating systems on the drives?

You cannot install to the G5 from the MacBook.
Is the Leopard Install Disc the Retail version, or the Grey Disc that came with another Mac ?

No music in iTunes library and it wont read the content of my iPod? Help please!

So I recently updated to iTunes 10.7 and when I did, all of the content in the iTunes library was gone! i have tried many different things to get it to work, like restoring to a previous iTunes library, but it appears that all the previous iTunes libraries were also deleted when I updated! If there is no other way to get the music back than finding the original files and putting them into iTunes, I guess that will be ok.
The second problem I am having is that when ever I try to sync my iPod it takes a very long time to load, and then it says that iTunes can't read the content of my iPod and that I should restore to the factory settings, but because there is no music or apps in my iTunes library I dont want to do that, because then I will have no way of getting all of my content back on. And I can't restore to a previous backup because it wont read it as my iPod, it just comes up as an unkown iPod. This is very frustrating and I have tried everything I can think of. Please help!

Try:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Try another cable and another USB port
- Reboot the computer.
- See if you can find the media by:
- See if a third-party progtam like one of those discussed here will allow you to get the music off the iPod

- I think you may end up restoring the iPod.
