I pod is frozen HELP!!

my ipod is completely frozen and i have followed all the steps given to me but nothing is working! the light has remained on for nearly 2 hours and its not responding at all. can anyone help? cheers, nick.

What steps are those? Have you tried holding the MENU and SELECT (center) buttons until you see the Apple logo to reset it?
(I'm assuming this is an iPod nano?)

Apps for OSX aren't in iTunes: they are in the App Store in your Applications folder. The payment method is the one registered in iTunes. There's no app actually called Yoga Studio, though there are several Yoga apps. There is an iOS app called Yoga Studio but it appears to have no OSX equivalent, though I haven't done a detailed search.

First of all try Resetting your iPod. Hold down the

You, my friend, are a life saver!!! I had the same problem today and I was freaking out. I was watching a video and went back to the menu and that's when it froze. None of the buttons would do anything. It sat like that with the backlight on for about three hours so the battery is just about drained now. I never knew about the Menu and Select button reset method until now.

I-pod completely frozen & in desperate help....

well my i- pod nano was workin extremely good.. but suddenly it froze.. now i have tried all the methods given here holdin menu and select buttons and all... it doesnt seem to start up.. even my computer is unable to recognize it... its completely frozen... well i took this up to the place where i bought it... they said to contact to the apple and ask for a replacement... now i tried lots of ways i still didnt finda method gettin my i-pod workin perfectly or contactin the apple people... my warranty date is also quickly runnin out...
can anyone suggest me a good method to solve this...

you said you tried a reset? YOU PUSHED AND HELD the menu button and the middle button AT THE SAME TIME for 10 seconds? this may take a few trys and its best if connected to power.

HELP!!!! My i-pod is frozen!

Ive tried everything, but my new 2 day old ipod mini wont work! i was in the games menu, when the scroller became inactive. its not on hold and ive tried everything, including connecting the USB cord to the computer.

Rest your iPod by holding the menu button and the center click button for 6 seconds. This will reset your iPod without losing your songs. You may have to reset options like backlighting , contrast, etc. If that doesn't work, down load the latest iPod updater from Apple's website and follow its onscreen instructions to update your iPod. Thank you for any help I appreciate it. Apple products came highly recomended to me, and I have been largely happy with my i phone, i pod, i pad mini and macbook. I admit I tunes always confused me, it is so hard to copy things back and forth from computer to device or vice versa. Most importantly my partner has given me a set of CD with audio books, legitimate CD's not burned copies, and I wish to play them on my i pod touch. I have donethis before with CD''s, however now I look i see all the songs and audio books from CD's have been removed from my device after synch with my itunes on my macbook??? and I can no longer cooy the new CDs on to there? i try put them in the library, and they show up but they are not in black printing like the other songs, they are a faded grey color. They play on the mac book in itunes, so i know they are THERE, they just wont go on my device??? What am I doing wrong and why did all my other ones turn to grey gaded text and go off my i pod.
Furthermore, i thank anyone who takes time to help me, it isnt your job, it is apple's job, but they want me to pay forty bucks for the priviledge of contacting them for help because my warranty expired !! They obviously did something with a new update of their i tunes, there should be NO DIFFICULTY copying audio books i legally own the CD for onto my i pod, why is it so impossible? I have asked my father, my brother, my flat mate, no one can work it out, so its not just that im an idiot.
People warned me that apple does things like this, makes stupid programs like i tunes, that make nothing but trouble so you have to pay to ask for help, and make it so you have to buy everything from their library not on CD. I woudl buy from them if they had the audio books and songs I wished to purchase but they don't always have what i want. And if they did why shoudl i pay AGAIN when i paid for the CD already , i paid for the I pod, i legally own them both so why can i not put my own music on there??? It makes me miss my simple MP3 player where i just plugged it to my computer and copy/paste. It really makes me wonder why when i POD is so much more expensive why its so much more trouble and you have to pay to ask for help??? I really have enjoyed my macbook (After being windows used all my life), i love my i pad and i phone, and until now i adored my i pod, but if it's not going to let me listen to my own music and audio files i may as well throw it in the trash and go get a mp3 player, and warn everyone I know. If there IS a way to copy my own music to the device then WHY IS IT SO HARD?? Just to make people pay to ask for help or what?
I am a loyal apple customer, All my devices are apple and until now i have been happy and willing to pay more for a good product. But i tunes is ridiculous! It's already synched things i didnt want synched and deleted things i didn twant deleted, and thats fine i told myself maybe im too dumb and dont get it. buT i've been trying all week and asked other peopel and still cant get this simple task done, and after purchasing their devices and recommending them to my friends, its a slap in the face to say they wont even let me ask a support question without paying forty bucks! The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

I dropped my blackberry z10 the top left corner cracked a lil but since my pho e has been frozen, stuck on screen. It won't let me like slide to open like my screen isn't working properly. I've tried holdingbutton for 10 sec and taking my battery out

Given your description and at an internet-distance, I can only deduce that the fall has caused some internal damage...which, of course, cannot be healed with software. Only in-hand evaluation by a qualified technician can provide you with a proper diagnosis and estimate. Given the fall, I doubt your warranty will be of any use...if you happen to have any insurance on the device, then that may well be useful. Otherwise, you will be looking at 100% out of pocket costs to repair the damage that has been done.

My Iphone 3gs has frozen-help me please ??

I'm new to the site;
And I'm in despair.My Iphone isn't jailbroken or anything like that. So this is how it begins;
I downloaded the alarm clock app on my Iphone 3gs on Tuesday evening, so I could set my alarm for the following morning, it downloaded fine. I woke up the following morning to the phone vibrating twice every 5 seconds or so and the phone was frozen on the passcode screen.
I have tried the home button/sleep button reset to no avail.
I have tried tried connecting it to itunes and doing the restore-i click the restore button but it only ends up updating which then fails due to the 3259 error code?!
I have tried doing this in the recovery mode but it still doesn't work.
I have tried searching endlessley on both google and youtube for hopeful fixes but I am beginning to loose hope?!
I have only had the Iphone two weeks as my cousin's contract expired, so I bought it off her.
If anyone could help me I would be very grateful,

Either you need to update iTunes on your computer to the current version or you have firewall software that is not allowing iTunes to connect to the activation server.

I'm having A very Similar program with DNG Converter 8.4 and 8.6! The Program was working fine until 2 weeks ago, now when I open the software, it doesn't load completely and when I click the application window up, all of the information fields are clear, showing the desktop through the window. Hey everybody, I love my Itouch the same as everybody here. Its a sexy piece of equipment but as things get more sophisticated so does the risk of problems increase. I've found myself in a situation I have yet to solve. I was using my wifi downloading some music and a few apps. After the second app began downloading, my Touch froze. I did a hard reset thinking there would be no problem. Instead it rebooted with the apple Icon and has been stuck on this for over 3 days now. I've tried everything to trying factory restore, hard reset, draining the battery (EVERYTHING). I went on a forum and they did mention that downloading apps off wifi can cause a freeze. My main issue is trying to unlock my Touch again. I have movies and apps worth quite a bit of money on it and I dont want to lose them. The computer detects the device but it states that it cant sync my Touch because it needs a password to unlock it. But I cant put in a password because the Touch is frozen! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, ANY SUGGESTIONS???

I'm not sure why you would be unable to do a restore unless it asks for a password for that as well, but if you cannot restore the device I don't think we can help you.
Restoring the device is really our last ditch effort for fixing these kinds of issues on the iTouch; if that option is not available then you'll probably have take the device to an Apple Store to see what they say.... I don't think there's anything else to try.

What the heck i-pod! please help me!

My old laptop had too be taken away, and so i had to use my old desktop which i haven't used in a couple of years. so anyways i really wanted to download new song on my i-pod and so i installed i-tunes and all those good stuff but then when i connect my i-pod it doesn't show it as a source and also says something about how i needed to re-install the latest update of i-tunes because i-tunes wasn't commucnicating or something like that with the i-pod. i re-installed itunes wayyyy too many times and it still didn't work and i am 199 percent sure that i have the latest itunes update but whenever i connect my ipod it still has the same problem which is that i needed to reinstall the latest version of itunes and its just really making me mad. will you please help me?!?!

Is your iPod online or offline? If it's offline or physically turned off; no power. Your only option is to physically go look for it. If your online and you set up find my iPhone with iCloud you should be able use that to help you, BUT if you did not set this up before you lost the iPod, I believe your back to physically go look for it, sorry. My ipod keeps changing screens. First it gives me a mad face, then a frozen battery icon, then the apple logo. I tried to reset the device but was unable to do it. I can't restore or update it and my computer won't recognize it. HELP!!!!!!!!

You can try resetting it. This is the procedure for doing a Reset.

This "reboots" the iPod; it is not erased.
If you tried this already, try doing it while the iPod connected to power, from your computer or from a USB power adapter.
