I pod isnt found by windows xp anymore

Went to put i pod as enable disk mode for date transfer. Now i want to update my i tunes music onto it. Problem now is computer thinks its usb storage device. So go to restore it like ive beent told to factory settings. Nothing it didnt work. EDit prefrences in i tunes under i pod tab it says this I POD NOT CONNECTED. Go to reinstall the driver for i pod add new hardware etc, nothing says its a usb storage device. Use updater for i pod nothing doesnt work atall. Go to where i found enable disk mode in options for i pod in i tunes logo isnt there anymore. All usb ports are working fine and tried other stuff innit to make that they all work. No problems with USB hubs then so uninstall i tunes install it again same problem. How to ge the i pod back to being an i pod. Need some major help someone said relocate the DRIVE. Ive no idea what they mean please someone help me im afraid this is it for the shuffle. Also i lost the little cover tab that fits onto the memory port on shuffle its the casing any ideas on where to get a new one thanks> : (

I suspect that enhanced mean USB 2 port.

I recently had to fix my computer cause it over heated now its fixed. I went into my i tunes and set up i pod as enable disk mode for data transfer. No i want music so i try and update it and nothing it wont find it atall as an i pod only as a USB STORAGE DEVICE!. I Tried to install hardware using i pod driver disk but computer isnt finding it as an i pod only as storage device. I plugged it in all usb hubs they all working fine. I go to the options to untick the enable disk mode, the options logo isnt there in i tunes atall nothing. In EDIT then prefrences then i pod tab it says i pod is not connected. Orange and green lights are flashing on it and it wont let me update songs on to it. I tried uninstalling i tunes 4 times and using the i pod updater, nothing. I went to RESTORE it the same thing happens, and tried to update it again same thing happens. I despeartly want to get my i pod back and im afraid im wont be able to now. Some one had a similar problem on here suggested to relocate the DRIVE but i dont understand what that means! Please someone help me get my i pod back to being an i pod. Using i tunes version 6. Mr d roberts. Also i lost the tab that goes covers the i pods memory port any ideas on how to get a new one!

I pod isnt found again when its taking out of port

Got i tunes version 6 i had to remove it and reinstall it after i uninstalled i pod installed it again. When i go to put in i pod into its usual usb drive i tunes wont find it it doesnt come up in the source list. The only way is to uninstall it and install software so its formatted by the i pod driver. Have to do this everytime for i pod to work surely theres another way. I can update songs fine when i pod is connected but when pc turned off it does the same thing it doesnt find it as i pod when i turn it on.

[SOLVED] Can't see my windows network anymore

I just updated my Arch 64 machine today (hadn't updated since last friday). I saw that the new kernel 2.6.38 was in core now etc. The update went fine but now in Dolphin I can't see my windows shares anymore. I complains about the firewall, so I turned it off but still it does see anything. Anybody else having issues with smb since the last few days of updates?

I can't really see anything that could cause an issue other than the kernel.

Also. many apps not require iOS 7 and it is not clear if y have iOS 7 or later.. So maybe:
Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

i have a ipod video 30G and not so long ago i had a problem with it it was frozen so i put it in the computer then it said that somthing was corrupted it said restore your ipod so i did but i don't have all my ipod songs on 1 computer but on 3 but 2 of them crashed and almost all my songs are gone so it was about to restore i pulled out my ipod and let the battery drain then later in the day i put it in the ipod charger and it worked again and i still had all my songs(luckly)and now i want to put new one's on it put my ipod is not found by itunes but is found by windows i've tried everything it says to do if your ipods not found but it's still not working can anyone help?please!

iTunes cannot convert protected WMA tracks. There may also be problems if it can't get full access permissions. What exactly are you trying to do when the error occurs?

I have tried all the 'Rs' that Apple recommend. As said, I can't hook up the iPod to my computer. I have tried to reset the iPod manually (holding the select and menu button) - but this doesn't work.
If there is another (manual) way to restore the iPod, I would love to hear about it.

Make sure, your iPhone is fully charged.
Does iTunes see your iPhone?
Launch iTunes and connect your iPhone. If the iPhone asks you if you trust the Mac, confirm it.
Then launch iPhoto and try again to import to iPhoto.
