I posted incorrect problem (Burning 130min)

Hello Again, Thanks for a quick and varied response to my question about burning a 130min dvd. I have made a mistake though. The movie that I made is one hour and 25 minutes. I was able to burn a DVD with the preferences set to best quality in the encoder settings. Upon play back the video image looks interlaced. Lots of lines upon playback in both computer and dvd player.
I am working on FCP 3. I export the timeline by choosing File>export>quicktime>options>mpeg4>video highest quatlity. The export menus does not provide an mpeg 2 selection.
Once the export is complete it usually takes up 18gigs and plays semi-fine as a quicktime, the lines are less so. Once I drop the quicktime into the Idvd project and choose the appropriate encoding option in preferences the video burns alright.
Upon playback, when the camera pans or there is any motion there are video artifacts that look like interlacing troubles. I thought this occured because of the lower encoding option I chose in the preferences.
Does any one have any advice. Maybe it is due to the export out of Final Cut 3 as mpeg 4. In the past I have chosen Animation in quicktime as the export setting.

Export from FC (I use Express but I think its about the same) as a Quicktime Movie. Drop that into iDVD. Create a Disc Image or Burn and iDVD does the MPEG2 encoding for you
Or, since you are using FCP you can use Compressor that will give you more options, like encdoding a MPEG2 but this is really unecssary with iDVD.
