I preordered a book in iBooks. It arrived 2months ago. When I try to download it, I get " can't connect to iTunes store."
Is there a way to trouble shoot this?

    Try this:
    Open your iBooks app on your iPad
    Select the Store Button at the top
    Select Purchased at the bottom
    You will see your AppleID on the right at the bottom, then Redeem, then Support
    Click on your Apple ID, and when the AppleID window comes up with the options, Sign Out
    Then Sign In again and try redownloading your book

    I have an iPod 4g and I had deleted the ibooks app but downloaded it again. The books are all in my library but when I try to open them the app glitches and closes out. Before the app update (ios 7) and after the update it hadn't worked (for the past week).

    I think I have found an answer on another page! If anyone else wants to know just do this:
    Hold down the home and sleep button (if the turn off button comes up just ignore it) and when you see the apple logo release the buttons and let it wake up!
    It worked for me and seem to work for a lot of people. Hope this helps!!

    I bought an iBook G4 used that arrived yesterday, and the first thing that went wrong was Safari kept closing when I went to Google and Youtube. I figured it was an old browser, so when I tried to download a version of Firefox that worked with my system, it failed to mount while preparing the disk image. It gave me a Warning message that said "Disk Images failed to mount" and for reason "Corrupt Image". The exact same thing happened when I tried to download Camino.     If this fails to mount and install, then try repairing disk permissions of your iBook drive.
    To repair disk permissions;
    click go on the top menu, then utilities, click on disk utilities. from the left pane, select the drive. Click repair permissions.

    I understand that your App Store does not show your app updates. Please follow the steps below to help resolve the issue.
    1. Close All Apps on iPad: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
    2. Sign out of iTunes & App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap AppleID > Sign out
    3. Reset All Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    4. Reboot iPad
    5. Sign back into iTunes and App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Sign In with AppleID

    You are charged when the book is released and you download it - between pre-ordering and it being released you could cancel the pre-order, so you are only charged on release.

    iTunes don't charge until the book is released, between pre-ordering and release you can cancel pre-orders - you won't get an emailed receipt until the book is released and you've paid for it.

    The owner of wi-fi R7443 has the password. Ask them for it if you know them. If you don't know them or know who owns wi-fi R7443 then you have no reason to use it.
    Most people have their own wi-fi network at their home and use it for their laptops and phones.
