I printed a spreadsheet, and now parts of that sheet show up on everything I print or fax.
How do I clear this?
I turned it off and did a reset {Content Removed: entry to menu can possibly cause damage to systems} and also selected reset under the tools menu.
This is an 8500 all-in-one.
I should not have to buy a new printer to clear this.

Try downloading and running the HP Hardware Diagnostic Utility located here:

It can fix a lot on its own and if not give a better idea of what is going on. I suspect an error in the printer could be a likely cause. Let us know the results and any errors that may be given.

Have you tried HELP in FINDER? If you open HELP and enter 'displays' in the field in the upper right hand corner you will get a list of topics on setting up monitors. Specifically read 'Setting up multiple displays to show the same image' and 'Setting up multiple displays as an extended desktop'.

As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there? -

i have a ipod touch and i got it for christmas with an iTunes card .the problem is that i downloaded videos and now it said that there is not enough space and i only downloaded 8 and now 5 don't download how do i erase them.can get my money back
Whatever you read about iTunes is wrong unless you're actually referring to feature movies, not videos. Videos, apps, music and iBooks you can re-download:

Download to your computer and then sync to your iPod touch whatever will fit.
And no, I can't say with certainty that they won't give you a refund, but it's unlikely. The most probable outcome, if you do indeed mean movies, not TV shows or other videos, is that they would set up an additional download. For other content they'll probably just direct you to the same instructions on re-downloading I just posted. -
I have just updated to Lion and now my folders no longer show number of items on the bottom. Is there a fix for this? I allways found that handy. Now I have to click on an icon on the top, This is a backward step if that is now the only way to see the number of items. Am I missing something obvious?

In the good old days of Snow Leopard, an open Finder folder had a border along the bottom of the window which could show the number of items in that window and the total available space on the hard disk or partition that folder resides on. That bottom border is gone in Lion and those two bits of information are gone with it. Is that what you're talking about? If so, I'd like to learn how to get it back too and "Show Item Info" is not the way. -
i had recently followed orders to restore my iPhone 3gs (iOS 6.1) from a question on apple support. However it was working fine before that, it's just that my phone didn't have signal. So it said to restore my iPhone and now it says that the Activation server is temporarily unavailable and when i plugged it into my mac, it said that i ddn't have a sim card installed. What can I do to fix this besides bring it to the store? it also bugs me because this answer was supposed to work but it just messed my phone up even more. Then, on the remote, type this sequence : right - right - left - center.

You might check and see if there are any Console entries about what happened when you attempted to launch a CS 5.5 app.
Adobe links its apps with the particular volume on which it is running, and altho' I can't recall specifics, I know in the past I have had to reset Adobe's settings after OS upgrade. I do recall that it's a fairly easy procedure; just don't exactly recall what it is.
BTW, CS 4 runs on Mountain Lion for me. -
