I purchased 2 music video, it wont play and it keeps saying "requested URL is not in this server"

Since i sychronized my iPod touch last month, the 2 music i purchased wont play anymore. And the "requested URL is not in this server" always pops now. What should i do?

I get the same message when I play my film on my ipad. There must be some solution, I pay for the flim and then lose it....why?

I am getting error messages from videos that wont play.. Has anyone ever had the error message that says you need Fairplay?

probably the video that you are trying to play is not supported?
MPEG4, H.263, H.264, MP4, M4V, 3GP, 3GPP, 3G2, and 3GP2 formats are only supported

HT1414 trying to update ipod software, there is an update but wont do it, as keeps saying backup corrupt or not compatible with ipod i give up

I have an Ipod touch, I am trying to download new software which it is saying there is an update, but it wont do it as it's saying it is corrupt or not compatible with the Ipod, I ipod is connected to Itunes through my computer.

Try deleting the downloaded update file and then try updating again. A new copy will be downloaded.. It is located here:

I bought a few songs and music videos from iTunes, then all of a sudden it wouldn't play and would just skip to the next song. With the music videos it would do the same. Also, this message would show up " The Requested URL could not be found on this server" What does that exactly mean? And what do I need to do to play my music/videos again?

designed to do. Prevent you from sharing purchased
music from ITunes. That's the way it is suppose to
work. Now, do your purchased songs play using ITunes.
Play them, see if you get any warning. Next reload
the songs again on your IPOD. Before disconnecting,

Yes, they do play in iTunes. (And just in case you don't know, I am on my home computer where I originally set up my iPod.) When I hook up my iPod to my computer the songs are there on my ipod, while veiwing it on iTunes, and they play, they just won't play on my iPod. Thank you for the question. The best way to avoid this behavior would be to delete the music video from your library. You can always download it again free by accessing your previous purchases. To delete and item in your iTunes library, select the item and hit delete on your keyboard.

No video (protected mp4) after purchasing a music video from the store

there is a strange problem found with the newest iTunes and (the newest) Quicktime:
If I'm trying to preview a movie , the audio part is playing fine, but the Mac is only showing me a white (or black) window without a video content.
The same problem happens if I'm purchasing a music video from the iTunes store- audio fine, but no video. To track the problem I have exported the video and tried to play it with the QuickTime player: still the same problem.
All other videos and Video Podcasts are playing fine.
It seems that I have problems with protected MP4 files....
Any suggestion to solve this problem?
The same videos are playing fine under Windows 2000 using the newest iTunes and QuickTime, only OS-X 10.4.9 (with all updates) on my G4 QuickSilver Dual 800MHz with 1.25 GB RAM and a Geforce 4Ti is giving me this problem.

Downgrading probably won't help; I asked because some people try to use a version of QT too old to play movies and videos from the iTunes Store.
Your system is marginal for the minimum required specs which specify a 1GHz processor or better, but it should at least try to play the videos, though it might not be smooth? Do you have any sort of third-party codecs - Divx, 3ivx, etc. - installed? If so, try removing them, restart the system, and see if that helps.

How do I get Music Video's to play in iTunes on iPad Mini with Shuffle option on Playlists (it's only playing the music not video's)?

Hi. I have got Music Video's on iPad Mini on a Playlist on iTunes. When I use 'shuffle' option the audio of the track is heard but no video is played (only a 'still' from the video). When using the Video option on the desktop, plays videos but does not allow you to 'playlist' them or shuffle them. I can shuffle Music Video playlist on iPhone and on PC. So why not on iPad Mini. Can someone help? Thanks

There does not appear to ba a facilty for this on the iPad. However there are a number of apps that will allow you to create and play video playlists. Try VP Lite which is free.

They play on my iphone and from the itunes library but not from my ipod touch.

If the songs are still on your ipod, make sure autosync is disabled in iTunes on your computer, connect and right click on it in the device list, then choose "transfer purchases" to copy all bought media and apps from your ipod to your computer.
If the songs are not on your computer and got deleted from your ipod as well, you can't get them back, unless you have a backup of your iTunes library as part of your computer backup.

Music videos don't play back to back

Is there any method to get my music videos to play continuously. Since upgrade to ios5, my iPad plays 1 video then stops. Another video has to be selected before it will play. I want it to play one after the other. It used to work before the upgrade.

In my case, MY MUSIC VIDEOS WON'T PLAY AT ALL! When i classify the video as movie it does play, but when i classify it as music video it doesn't play anymore. I am so ****** because I am more into music videos, I have almost 100+ music videos on my ipod 4th gen. I went to apple's service center to complain, but they only gave me silly solutions for this. Either I download all those videos again which is crazy, or I wait until apple release an update of ios 5. Grrrr!
