I purchased 3 songs on itunes today, i watched them download, and i watched it take my money, but now i can't find them amoungst the "purchases". So basically it looks like itunes stole my money?

why is itunes not recognizing that i just bought these songs? I watched them as they downloaded, but now there's no trace of them anywhere so i can't put them on my ipod. And i have money on an itunes gift card, and i watched as the amount went down after buying the songs, so i know that i paid for them. any ideas?

nevermind guys, i figured out what to do. for anybody else with this issue, try going to "store" (in the top bar on itunes), then "view my account", and then it should tell you if you have any items availible for download. then you can download them there, and get the things you paid for. This was a really annoying issue though, because it made it look like itunes had stolen my money, and almost tricked me into wasting my money trying to re-purchase the songs. itunes should look in to this.

They should have downloaded into the Videos app (iTunes on the iPad is just the iTunes store) :
If they aren't in there then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?

I made a new apple account and signed in on my ipod. But now I can't buy any in-app purchases.

It says 'Your purchase could not be completed' And then 'Failed to connect to itunes store' What should I do? I have tried re installing the app and restarting the ipod. Syncing it with the right itunes account. Everything. Considering a restore but from threads with similar problems that doesn't work. I have waited a long time for this in-app purchase and have gone through a llot to try and get it -_- The app is 'Bloons Tower Defence 5' If that helps.

To unhide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
If you're not already signed in, choose Store > Sign in.
Choose Store > View My Account. (You may be asked to enter your password again).
On your Account Information summary, scroll down to the "iTunes in the Cloud" section and click Manage.
Choose a content type by clicking Music, TV shows, Apps, or Books from the top.
Click the Unhide button next to the item you would like to restore.
If they are not hidden they may have been purchased on a different apple id.

I did this by going into the folder where the Amazon MP3's were and copied the link into iTunes under the add file link in the menu. If you rented and downloaded it on your iPad then it should be in the Videos app - if it doesn't show in there then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding it ?

You may have lost them when the phone was updated unless you backed up first as you always should. Ringtones cannot be downloaded a second time for free.
