I purchased a book but its not downloading and i've already been charged
I've purchased a book from ibooks and a message came back that my information is invalid, so i try it again and it happens again. I figured its my bank account, so i go check and its fine; the money is there. and the records shows that the money has been taken out TWICE!! I need to know whats going on??
When you make purchases in iTunes, it will and can take up to 24 hours to refresh on your end. So if you have made purchases before this and if you do not know how to keep track of your own purchases, you may have had less money in there, but did not refresh on your account for you to see accurately. so no, iTunes did not rob you, you just don't know how to manage your money, and probably didn't have enough store credit in your account to cover the purchase, so iTunes took the rest of your store credit and paid the rest on your card, and your bank declined the purchase causing the account to have an unpaid order on it.

You will see there the unpaid order. In order to pay it, you'll have to use an alternative credit card or purchase more iTunes store credit. Hope this helps.

The log files are just text files. Most likely the Genius was opening them to test Word, and read through the logs at the same time to look for issues that may have told him something about your Mac's performance. I would assume he didn't find anything out of the ordinary and handed your Mac back to you.

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

What year, screen size, CPU speed and amount of RAM installed in your iMac?
If your iMac is not a mid-2007 iMac model or newer, you can't install OS X 10,8 Mountain Lion.
Tthe highest OS X version that can be installed is OS X 10.7 Lion.
You need to call Apple at 1-800-MYAPPLE ask for retail software sales and tell them you want to install OS X 10,7 Lion onto your iMac. They will give you a special download code to access the OS X 10.7 Lion download from the Mac App Store.

First, be sure that the contacts on the devices are in the "icloud" section and not the "On my iPhone" (or iPad) section of the contact listings/groups.
Missing contacts:
Here's a test to perform - using a computer's browser, log into icloud.com and go to the Contacts page. If most of them are gone, then they are gone.
If they show up, then the problem is that your device is not connecting to the Contacts database on icloud.
On the device, go to Settings>icloud. Be sure icloud is on and using the right ID. If not, scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Delete Account - this just disconnects the device from that account, no data is lost. Then log back in using the correct ID. ALSO - be sure the Contacts are turned on (on the same screen).
Note: Contacts are not part of an iCloud backup, since they are part of contacts database on iCloud's servers. So performing a restore will not help.
Contacts are gone from icloud.com.
Then they have been deleted. There are many reasons for this. One possibility is that someone else is using the same iCloud account (family member, etc.) and they deleted contacts, thinking they did want them on THEIR device. How to get them back? Unfortunately, an iCloud backup does not include any of the sync databases, like contacts, notes, calendars, reminders, etc. because the data is already stored in these databases. Your only hope for restoring the data is if you had that data on a computer (like a mac's Contacts, Calendars, etc.) and that data was backed up using whatever backup software you typically use (e.g. Time Machine on a mac). Just restore the data files back to the computer. Other than that, I'm afraid the data is gone. -

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

Cant download previous purchases on my account. Bought them via my iphone, but when i try to sync it they dont come up and when i try to download them via my phone again it just doesnt work, and when i try to download them via a computer it just says purchased but they arn't in my itunes library?
What types of item that you can redownload depends upon what country that you are in (music, films and/or TV shows can't currently be re-downloaded in all). If they are still on your phone then you should be able to copy them over to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases.
What you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes and the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone. If other items of the same content type appear but those don't (and they are still in the store), then check to see if they are hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 -

So i bought a book in ibooks. It has been paid for and everything (the money has been taken out of my bank account). Yet when i try to download it, a cloud with an arrow comes up. It says 'when the item is finished..etc' but only thing is it has finished, it isnt downlaoding anymore. I keep pressing it and the same thing happens, when i try to re-downlaod the book, sometimes it asks me to pay for it again, other times the cloud arrow comes up and regardless the same process happens.

I bought a book through Ibooks on my ipad. Received the message "book is downloading. when download is complete book will be in library". The book never showed on my library shelf. Repeated attempts to buy and download the book leads to the same error message. I attempted a different book to buy and download and received the same message on that. Powered Ipad down and then powered back up, and tried again to download but again the same message. Went to my Mac, accessed Itunes, the book wasn't there. I tried to download the book to Itunes and received the same message. Should I try deleting the Ibooks app on my ipad and reinstalling it? Would that delete all my 350 book purchases or would they remain on Itunes where I could then transfer books back onto my IPad when the issue was resolved? -

When I clicked ''buy song'', after I entered my password, 2 seconds later this thing came up that said my payment was declined.
