I purchased a song but it wont show up in my purchased library on Itunes or I cloud; pretty much I can get it anywhere and Itunes has acknowledged the purchase

I knew that was too short for file types, click on '''Apply''' at end when finished
My Computer, Tools(or View), Folder Options, View
*Hidden files and folders
*  (_) Don't show hidden files, folders, or drives
*  (X) Show hidden file, folders, or drives
*[_] Hide empty drives in the Computer folder
*[_] Hide extensions for known file types
*[_] Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)

How come ITunes says I purchased a song, but I can't find it in any library

As in purchased it 4 minutes ago, or 4 years ago? The new versions of iTunes are always very reliable at having songs show up in the main library display window when an item is added. Does your song appear in Recently Added? Have you checked your media folders to see if the song is actually on your computer but it is just iTunes that is having conniptions?

I bought a song on iTunes, knowing I had $3.09 dollars in my account left. The song was 1.29. When I clicked ''buy song'', after I entered my password, 2 seconds later this thing came up that said my payment was declined. I pressed ok, but when I checked how much money I had left on my itunes account it was 89 cents although the song was not purchased!!! what the ****?!? ITUNES ROBBED ME
I turned the power off on my device and that didn't help.
If I find out I have to do some crazy stuff to fix this problem then I'll just put more money on my account soon, but seriously.

When you make purchases in iTunes, it will and can take up to 24 hours to refresh on your end. So if you have made purchases before this and if you do not know how to keep track of your own purchases, you may have had less money in there, but did not refresh on your account for you to see accurately. so no, iTunes did not rob you, you just don't know how to manage your money, and probably didn't have enough store credit in your account to cover the purchase, so iTunes took the rest of your store credit and paid the rest on your card, and your bank declined the purchase causing the account to have an unpaid order on it.

You will see there the unpaid order. In order to pay it, you'll have to use an alternative credit card or purchase more iTunes store credit. Hope this helps.

My windows computer died,it now has linux mint 9.I installed itunes on a new windows computer.Purchased new songs but it wont let me download or dispaly my old music.But it did transfer 3 movies over to new itunes account.

Purchsed another windows computer and installed itunes.
Purchased songs howeverwould not let me sync with new computer or transfer old library.
However it did transfer 3 movies.
I authorized new computer and home sharing.
Do not want to lose old library and keep mgetting warning.

iPod shuffle and iPhone are intended for use with a single computer. You cannot load music from multiple computers or iTunes libraries onto iPod shuffle and iPhone like you can with other devices.
You'll need to setup your iPod to sync to this new iTunes library:

You have posted to the iTunes Match forum, which your question does not seem to be related to. Is your question concerning iTunes Match or syncing with iTunes via USB?

Reset the PRAM

If you pull down the centre of the iPad's homescreen (not from right at the top of the screen as that will open notifications) to open the search field, if you type in the name of the audiobook or the name of the author does that find it ?

ITunes says I purchased an album but it wont let me download it

I bought an album on on my laptop for my old iPod. Now I have an iPod touch and i went into the purchased items on the itunes app and it didnt have the album i was looking for in it. I then searched for it in the search bar and it still says i purchased the album but it wont let me download it. There isnt an error that comes up or anything. It just wont let me download it and ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY! Can someone please help? (i hope i dont have to purchase the album again)

Again, how are you trying to "download' it - what options are you selecting to do the download? Also, the forum you posted in is iTunes for Windows, but you also mentioned your iPhone. Where are you trying to download the past purchase? Once I know that, I will be able to provide you with instructions on how to download it again.

Purchased film on iPad but its not showing on Home sharing after downloading to iTunes?

Hi all, I have recently purchasd Men In Black from itunes using my iPad 2 and downloaded it to my Mac. However when i went to watch it on Apple TV 2 its no where to be seen. I've checked the movie folder and its there above Men In Black 2, its still on my iPad and plays ok and it also plays ok on my Mac. What I don't understand is:
1. Why can't I see the film on Apple TV 2 despite it being in the same folder as my other movies?
2. Why doesn't the film show up when i plug my iPhone 4 in to put it on there?
3. The film doesn't show up on my iPad 2 when plugged into iTunes either even though its already on the device?
The only difference I can see is that the file is .ite and not .m4v , but then wheres the file i downloaded to my ipad or have I just wasted my money on a film with limtied sharing on my own account?

If you looking at your ipod, giving us that info - those songs are already inside.
If you are on the computer, they, without icloud, can be actually synchronized. That is how they suppose to be.
