I purchased a TV show from itunes, but it never downloaded!

They charged me the $1.99, and as it was downloading the program "closed unexpectedly", I reported the problem to apple and all, but I want my TV show or my money back! I also searched for the show on my hard drive and no such luck. I haven't received a receipt yet in my e-mail, but i did get something saying "thank you for your itunes purchace". Should i go to the mac store? Is there somebody who can help me?

I finally figured it out. I had the parental controls restricting videos on my son's ipod. Once I changed the restrictions, the videos appeared.

Check to make sure that in iTunes Preferences that Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases is check or check in the iTunes Store under Purchased to see if it rests there. If you still cannot locate them, the report the issue to the iTunes Store.

If you have the left-hand sidebar showing click Apps under Library, if you don't have the left-hand sidebar showing then click Done at the top right of the screen to go back to your library and then select Apps via the selection button top left.
You will now be able to permanently delete apps from itunes - Select app - right click - delete - send to recycle bin

Make sure your computer is authorized to play the music you purchased on your computer (Store > Authorize this computer)

Ran into the same thing here. Turns out you shouldn't be trying to watch them from iTunes - instead open the "videos" app and all of your purchses should all be there and play in full.

Try to download them in iTunes on your computer. Connect your iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Click on your iPad name on the left side of iTunes and then from the menu at the top of the screen go to Store>Check for Available Downloads. You should be taken to another screen where the incomplete downloads can finish and then you can sync them to your iPad.

If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.
You can delete the movie prior to the expiration date if you want to make more space on your hard drive, iPod, iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV. However, the movie will automatically disappear from your iTunes library 24 (or 48) hours after you've begun viewing it.
What happens to my rented movie if don't watch it?
If you don't watch your rented movie, it will expire in 30 days and disappear from your iTunes library. You will need to rent it again in order to watch it.

You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option which is revealed in the iTunes app on your iOS device by tapping the more button at the bottom of the screen.

I purchased a few ringtones from itunes, but about a week later, they dissapeared. They are not showing up on my itunes library either. I tried to re-purchase them and itunes recognizes that i have already purchased the ringtones. How do I get them back?

call the APPLE store, even though it reconize you purchase them already, APPLE will charge you again. it happened to me. when u call them they can resend them to your phone FREE of charge. Its silly that the error message doesnt say that then. I wouldnt have wasted my time figuring out why it wasnt working.
I really wanted to pay for the episode of 24 I was attempting to purchase... oh well.
Cant complain too much, i love iTunes (except for the DRM which stops me from transferring it to some devices like my xbox 360 for example)

Since dowloading ios 5 I've had loads of sync issues with my iPhone 3GS.
The latest is that any music that I've purchased, though showing and playing in iTunes will not sync to py phone, even though some of it was purchased using my phone. Any help please?

with your device connected go to iTunes > Music > click the sync music button, see if this helps.
