I purchased Adobe Creative Suites CS5 in 2010 online, an error message keeps coming up saying I need to uninstall and reinstall.

Where would I go to get it back to reinstall? I'm worried I won't be able to retrieve it once I uninstall it.

I now (and a bite late) realize that my licenses are not recognized by Adobe. I am desperate. I cannot afford the expense of buying or paying access to the software and, still, I need the tools for all those little things I do for enjoyment. What can be done?

The licenses are operating system specific, so one option would be to retain use of the Windows machine you had before the Mac.
If you want to try to use the older stuff on your new Mac you can try installing Windows emulation software such as Bootcamp.

I Purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium for Mac about 4 years ago and now every time i launch one of the applications it says "Trial expired"

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5 and Premiere Pro CS5 in late 2010 and I use the applications on a daily basis, until now. About a month ago I decided to create an adobe account and log in since it asks me every time, after i logged in the applications worked for about a day or two but on the third day i was getting an error that said trial expired on every CS5 application i opened except for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 Adobe Bridge CS5 and Adobe Onlocation CS5, I no-longer have the original boxes with the serial numbers due to the fact that I moved about a year ago and the boxes with the serial numbers must have been accidentally thrown away (trust me i have spent hours looking for them, i opened every box i have). What can i do to get my products working again? To repurchase all of the products it will cost thousands of dollars that i don't have.

MoeGhazal I reviewed your account and it looks like you have have upgraded from a CS4 volume license for Design Premium to a retail upgrade of Design Premium 5.5.
I also show that you made two purchases of CS5.5 Design Premium but the second purchase was canceled. Please make sure you are utilizing the serial number which ends in 7886.
If you are using the correct serial number then it is likely the installer will not recognize your volume license CS4 serial number as being valid for an upgrade. If you can contact our support team then you can be walked through an unlocking procedure to allow you to proceed with the installation. You can contact our support team directly at Contact Customer Care. You may want to try installing a web browser you have not previously utilized. It is likely a toolbar or some other software application is affecting your ability to access chat support successfully.

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite C2 and have been using it for years on the same computer no problem with using it. Recently upon opening Photoshop I received a pop up window saying due to Adobe Software security we need you to activate your CS2 software.

Adobe creative suite cs5: unable to drag objects on illustrator or indesign. unable to open files in photoshop, brush doesnt work in photoshop.
In the past I uninstalled adobe creative suite cs5 from my laptop, used the adobe creative cloud cleanup tool, restarted and then reinstalled the programs and everything worked again for about a week. Now everything has gone back to the way it was again and this time the uninstalling and reinstalling isnt helping.
Any ideas?

I'm having exactly the same problem. Uninstalled CS4 and reinstalled the 30 day trial of the Creative Cloud and it's stil having the same glitches, not opening in photoshop and not being able to drag/move objects in Illustrator or inDesign.

I am the licensed owner of Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5. Unfortunately, I recently had a hard drive failure and had to have my MAC hard drive re-imaged. Adobe Creative Suite CS5 is acting up. In Illustrator i was unable to move objects with my mouse and tried solving the problem in different ways - it still didnt work. So i opened up photoshop. I was unable to open a file in photoshop (new or old) and when i finally did manage to open something, I am unable to do many things.
1) i cannot crop canvas
2) i cannot resize canvas
3) text dissapears after i type it
4) brush strokes dissapear after i release mouse
etc
What should i do??

Nobody can help you without system info or otehr details. From your description this could be driver issues with a tablet if you use one or similar issues with a programmable custom mouse... Most definitely not an issue within the programs. Unplug your mouse and tablet, uninstall and reinstall the drivers, try another input device...

I already asked customer service to see if they could waive the cancellation fee so that I could get the current EDU price. I was denied and offered one free month, but I asked the Creative Cloud technician to escalate it. So, it's up in the air right now. I believe they are getting many students calling to inquire about this. You would think that student/teacher prices are set once established, so if $19.99 is the lowest actual student/teacher EDU rate, then what is the $29.99 rate that the rest of us student/teacher EDU subscribers of Creative Cloud are paying?
If you establish a student/teacher EDU rate, you could keep it that way and make it available to all students. Especially the ones who signed up first! Why is Adobe rewarding the laggards?
