this is the student & teacher design & web premium bundle, I have registered the product with adobe before attempting install, followed their instructions but no luck - Adobe help is useless.

This is an iMac forum, you should be in touch with Adobe, I know you are frustrated with them but it's their product and they know best how to support it. Therefore you need to be a little persistent and insist on help. You can also Google for forums that support that product, that is where the experts on it will be.

You need to put all of your info on your computer and then sync it to iphone.

I just deleted PS CS6 and installed PS CC 2014. I'm trying to use the Liquify Filter and it does not work. When I click on the Liquify Filter, my photo does not appear properly. The photo appears as two flourescent color fields - bright turquoise and lime green! Can anyone help me with this? Also, does anyone know if I can re-install Photoshop CS6?

Hi Everyone....I figured it out. Strangely, although I had NEVER used Liquify in PS CC 2014....I just realized that in Liquify Advanced Mode that the "SHOW MASK" option was on by default! I unchecked SHOW MASK. Everything is OK. Whew! Tks!

It looks like your Security and Privacy pane is not loading at all, and is making the window unresponsive when you oepn it. I recommend checking your hard drive for errors with the following article:

If the issue is not resolved, try performing the steps in this article to boot to Safe Mode, then leave it to retest the issue:

Starting up in Safe Mode
To start up into Safe Mode (to Safe Boot), follow these steps.
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key.
The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
After the logo appears, you should see a progress bar during startup. This indicates that your computer is performing a directory check as part of Safe Mode.
To leave Safe Mode, restart your computer without holding any keys during startup.

But I must point out that leaving the iPhoto Library on the external is worth considering. Your internal drive would be better off without having to carry the photos.
When you booted with the external connected and you were asked for the library, did you try navigating to the Library in on the external drive?

Sorry to ask, how do I do it please. I have my first ipod with the same account on both computers that have different libraries one of which I am building now. Do I have to de-authorise my original ipod on the computer that I want to use my new ipod on with the new library and then register my new ipod. On each machine turn on iCloud and sync all the available apps. Apple explains how to set up iCloud in http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
After doing this run software update on each machine and install all the suggested updates. If you still need help installing the most up-to-date versions of iLife and iWorks open the Mac App Store - click the Purchased tab and update all that need to be updated.

IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use. You need to install the Plugin version of Flash for Firefox.
1.Download the Flash setup file from here:

Save it to your Desktop. 
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit

What you've run into is the activation lock. Previous owners are supposed to wipe their devices, and to do that they have to enter their apple ID's. If yours wasn't wiped then it was a careless owner, or the dark side is that whomever sold it, it wasn't theirs to sell.
Regardless, what Deggie says is your only recourse. Get your money back or own an unusable brick.
