I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

I recently purchased and downloaded an album from the itunes store. One of the songs (#2) was not stored correctly with the rest of the songs and now my album is missing one song. The song was stored into a separate folder, under a generic file name; not associated with the orignal album. How do I get this corrected?

The easiest way to correct it would be modify the song so that it matches the same information as the rest of the album. The following article will assist with that process.

Your past purchases are not on the computer. By choosing download all, those purchases will download to the computer.
Once authorized to your iTunes account you can control the computer.
When syncing the iPad the first time you will get the warning " this iPad is synced with another computer, syncing will erase all contents and replace with the contents of this computer"

in remote app click on the
lower left corner on the text
top of the context menu click devices
choose the appletv rather then your shared lib in the list
if you are trying to view a movie that is located on your ipad on your tv using the appletv then
you should use airplay mirror not the remote app

I have the EXACT issue as Hatchs88 and the response doesn't help. I found a 3 of 4 missing songs as "song".tmp file in the music directory but I can't do anything here... This is actually a really common problem with pre-orders right now, seems to be on Apple's end. Songs won't be added to users' libraries as they become available... for instance I pre-ordered the new Foo Fighters album and each time a new song has been released from it I've eventually been forced to cancel my pre-order and start it again because those songs not only WON'T auto-download, but they don't even appear in the purchased section in iTunes. They only show as having been "pre-ordered" in the album page on iTunes, with no way to actually download them... and the user isn't even charged for the new song, so it's as if the pre-order is frozen. This has happened for SEVERAL pre-orders I've had in the last few months, to the point where I'm hesitant to ever pre-order again, as it literally serves no purpose. Two times now I've had the entire album become available, only to NOT download or be added to my library in any way. I ended up (as I said before) canceling my order and starting over. It's really a pain.

Does the track play correctly in Quicktime Player? If it does then it is an iTunes issue. If it doesn't then it is possible the file was not completely downloaded, or is corrupt.

Use the Apple ID support -> http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/ - click through the contact information and select the iTunes, etc., hot button. You can have Apple call you or email them.
