HI. I purchased an IPad model A 1460 which was supposed to have an 1.4 ghz A6x chip. The hardware configuration however shows that my IPad has an A5x chip. How can this issue be resolved ?
How are you getting this "hardware configuration" information?
If you are using a third-party app, most likely the app is not up to date and does not know about the newer iPad processor to show information about it.

When I go in I cloud data storage, it says I have 3.3gb from an old phone which was replaced by a new phone. The new phone has 1.2gb of data. So I now have a total of 4.5GB OF DATA stored. ThanksWhen you delete an iCloud backup it is permanently deleted and not available in the future to restore from. The backup of your second phone only contains the data and settings from that phone. If any of this data was inherited from your first phone, it would be contained in the backup of your second phone as it was on your second phone when it was backed up.
If you want to keep backups of your old phone, back them up in iTunes and they will remain on your computer. Even if you are backing up to iCloud, you can manually back up your phone in iTunes by right-clicking on the name of your phone on the left side of iTunes and selecting Back Up. iTunes will see each device as a separate device, and will maintain the backups separately. Do this with your first phone and you can then delete the iCloud backup and you will have the iTunes backup on your computer should you ever want to access it. -

I have 2 iphones, 1 personal and 1 business. I thought I was supposed to have 2 separate itunes accounts. I now have a work ipad and want to only have 1 itunes account that I can use for all 3 devices. How do I cancel 1 account or just combine the 2?
I want to be able to transfer my apps from my original itunes account that I have on my personal iphone 3 and work ipad 3 to my work iphone 4S ,as well as purchase more more apps for the work iphone with the original itunes account. I have a new Samsung phone and I live in CT. Last month they charged me $38 on my bill for the sales tax for the new phone which was $600. I'm paying for the phone itself over 20 installments of $30 each. Now again I'm getting that same $38 charge. I can't believe that the monthly CT tax is higher than the payment for the phone itself. Does this make sense. Last time I spoke with them on the phone it was for 1 1/4 hours for something simple. I don't want to call unless I need to. The salesman told me nothing about any of this. Hi, I have a Powermac with Mavericks and a recently purchased iPhone 5S. I just switched from Verizon with unlimited downloads to limited of 500mb per month, so I purchased a Powerlink Outdoor Plus which is supposed to increase the network range for over 1 mile. I am still getting the same distance range with my iPhone with the Verizon router. I was wondering if I need to make adjustments in the Network Settings. Does anyone know about this particular subject?

KevinOkay, I'll admit I don't know much about your configuration. A standard cellular package for a cellphone means you get your signal from a tower somewhere. It won't have anything to do with a router which will be a WiFi connection from a router. If you're talking about that, the Powerlink appears to be a directional antenna. You should get better transmission/reception in the direction it is pointed, but likely worse in other directions than if you were using an omnidirectional antenna. I presume you have it all hooked up correctly so the router is actually using the Powerlink antenna.
By the way, those distance ratings are always exaggerated. Maybe you'd get 1 mile if there was only dry air between you and the antenna and no trees, buildings, etc., and that would probably be just barely getting a signal. You should see improvement but don't go to a coffeeshop 1 mile away in a city and expect to see your router. We have a directional antenna on the roof of our house that looks like a satellite dish and I barely pick up the wireless service node a block away (with apartment buildings in between). Thre may also be a difference between using it to send a signal and receiving a signal. You might even need two, one at each end, to get 1 mile. -
I made an in app purchase and never received what I was supposed to. I contacted the producers of the app and they never got back to me. I then contacted apple and they said they would return my 25$ purchase. I still haven't gotten it. I am starting to feel like I just lost 25 dollars and both companies are sweeping it under the bus. I purchased an iPad air and chose a backup from my iPhone 5s. The only issue is only 30 of my photos downloaded to my iPad and none of the music. How can I get all items on the iPad?
you are using I tunes as the middle man for this back up, right?
When you plug in the pad to i tunes, give it a unique name, like my pad. I tune may be thinking it is talking to your phone. It will keep track of what you what on each device. Then plug your phone back in, and make sure your photos are uploaded to the computer - in i photo if you are using a mac, or in whatever photo program you are using on a windows device. You also want to make sure you have uploaded to the computer all of your music.
Once you get all that stuff there, plug the pad back in, and go through each of the tabs - selecting the music, photos etal that you want on the pad, then resync. -
My mini Ipad has somehow gone into a enlarged picture mode which is making it very hard for me to use. I cant seem to get it back to normal size. Can anyone advise me please. Val.
