I purchased creative cloud and my apps say try instead of install

What do I do?

Make sure Creative Cloud subscription assigned to your email address, you may log in to below link and check
Adobe ID
If the subscription is assigened.
Open Creative Cloud App
Click Gear icon on the top right corner and click on Preferences
Then click on accounts and sign out
Then sign in back. Make sure to use the email address which you have used to subscribe

    There are different possible reason for this.
    Since you had changed the plan from Photography plan to CC full subscription.the status might not have updated or there may be Activation server connectivity  issue .
    1)First thing to do is Sign out from Creative Cloud and Sign in.
    2)Check Hosts , and let me know if  you can see any Adobe entries like 127.0.01 activate.adobe.com...etc ???
    3)Corrupt opm.db database file
    4)Corrupt license files , Firewall ,,,etc
    Follow first 2 steps and check ,.
    Still face same issue ,let me know

    I have heard that Creative Cloud and CC apps dont transfer well with the Migration Assistant from Apple.
    I have a new iMac with Yosemite. Should I uninstall everything before using the Migration Assistant and then re-install Creative Cloud and apps afterward by downloading from the Adobe site again on the new iMac?
    Is there a link to full instructions how to completely uninstall CC and the apps and clean up?

    Kindly follow the below mentioned steps.
    Try to Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app
    Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CS5.5 and later
    If that doesn't help.
    Try to uninstall the product and run the Adobe CC cleaner tool to be on a safer side.
    Install Creative Cloud app, Install the product again.
    Kindly revert if the problem still persists.

    If you had purchased Creative Cloud subscription .
    Then first of Sign out from Creative Cloud and Sign in using Email ID using which you had purchased subscription.

    For Paid subscribes it will show Install button .
    For trial subscribes it will show Try button.

  • My CC desktop app now says "Try" instead of "Install"?

    This may be total paranoia on my part, but suddenly on my Windows 8 CC desktop app, everything says "try" instead of "install" but I can't find anywhere that the CC memberships (or more importantly my full membership) had changed.     I checked you account on my side and it looks fine. I can see you have Creative Cloud for Individuals subscription.
    It seems that you computer is not properly communicating with Adobe servers.
    Please refer the article: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html and try to reset the host file if in case of any Adobe entries.
    Please do let me know the status if it worked or not.

    I had the free trial of creative cloud and decided to buy the one year membership. It says that everything is up to date on the website, but when I try to open any of the apps, it says to renew my membership. What am I doing wrong?

    If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?

    My order # is AD002107545EDU and I thought the problem was resolved. With the exception that the adobe cloud is somehow in my startup and I have never been able sign in correctly there. I had been able to sign in after things were corrected with your tech. If the situation can not be resolved just cancel and refund my funds because frankly your online tutorials are small and can not be viewed very well. I can get better video with techupcomp.

    That's the support number. Good luck though I just spent an hour and a half on with them for a very similar problem. They offered no solution and in the end said they would only give me help if I purchased additional technical support.
    As soon as I cool down I'm going to call back and demand a refund and cancellation of my subscription. It's one thing for the software to have problems, but I shouldn't have to pay more for it to work!
