I purchased Creative Suite 5.5 two years ago and never installed it. Can I now load this on either a new Mac or PC? Will there be updates available for this software?
I purchased an upgrade version of Creative Suite 5.5 two years ago, but never installed it on my PC. I plan to purchase either a new Mac or PC soon. Will I be able to load this upgrade 5.5 on my new computer and get existing updates?
You will have to install it on the same type of platform for which you originally purchased it... Windows or Mac... suites are platform specific, and CS5.5 is not eligible for a platform swap. Whatever updates exist for CS5.5 will be available to you, but it is not likely that there will be more produced.

I bought Creative suite 5 a few years ago, my computer's hard drive failed, after It was fixed I re installed my program and it now says my Serial number is not valid.
I'm on the last day of a 30 day trail... it won't take my serial number which is the same one that worked beforeContact support by web chat.

I purchased a song almost two years ago and the song is no longer present in my library, but it is listed on itunes store as purchased.... How do I get this song back?
@caragam, if the songs are no longer in your purchase history it means either they have been hidden or the original items are no longer available for sale on the iTunes Store or you are logged into the store with a different Apple ID.
To see if they have been hidden in iTunes pull down Store > View my AppleID. Enter your password when prompted. In the middle of the screen, click "view hidden purchases." See if the purchased items are here. If they are unhide them and go back to your purchase history and re-download them.
If the purchases are not hidden and you do not have a backup then the songs are gone and there is no way to recover them. This is why we keep backups.
If you used a different Apple ID to purchase the song, log out of the store and log in with the appropriate Apple ID and download the song. Be aware this could trigger a 90 day lock out of the other store account so make sure you really, really want that song. -
I bought creative suite production 6 2 years ago. On 12/24 I guess an update came thru and screwed my program all up. Its trying to make we buy to go into the cloud. I'm happy with what I have, I don't went to go into the cloud. I truely feel like Im being ripped off being forced to move into the cloud'

okay so , my ipod is about two years old and went through the washer and dryer. no one has used it for two years because no one ever took the time to fix it, until now when my previous ipod cracked and barley works now. So i took it upon my time to fix this washed ipod and i have been able to successfully restore it and , backup, and restore backup. i have also reset the network settings, and still my wifi is dimmed out and wont let me switch it on, i have read the apple websites resolution to this problem and i have tried it and they do not seem to work as my wifi is still DIMMED out. I would like to switch over to this one because my cracked one is hard to use, but in order for me to use this one it would be very nice to have wifi so i could download apps, and when i restored and reset the ipod to act like a new one, it wont even let me sign in to my apple id because i do not have Internet, now the funny part is my wifi is working fine for my 5 family members and their phones/android tablets, i am the only one who has an apple device. please right back!!! thanks!

Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF

I purchased my macbook pro about two months ago. I had no issues with it what so ever. This morning i took it off the charger because it was fully charged because it showed the green light. When i came back home i turned my computer back on , entered my password and it shut off . i tried turning it back onbut it wont turn back on and neither woul it charge . Its not turning on and its not charging.

If it does not work, take the MacBook Pro to an Apple Store or reseller. You will get the MacBook repaired for free -

I purchased my MacBook Pro 2 years ago in Okinawa. I recently moved to St Louis. When using the "find my Mac" App, it still says my Mac is in Okinawa. How do I get it to accurately show my Mac is now in St Louis?
Open System Preferences using the menu item " > System Preferences" then select the "Security & Privacy" pane. selec the "Location Services" on the left and enable using the checkbox:

i had a problem with my macbook pro: on tuesday 16th (agoust, 2011) I went to a friend's house and show her some document i had in my computer, then i turned off my mac and it asked me: "there are some actualizations available, do you want to update before turn off?" i clicked on yes, waited for update and then the macbook turned off. When I got back home, I tried to turn it on again.... but nothing: it didn't sound baaaammmmm as allways, it didn't reacted. I tried again, but useless.
The next day i went to one of these "authorized management centers", but they coudn't say anything or do anything about it. First they told me the problem was the battery, then the hard disk, then the video card... but don't. I left my mac there by two weeks, hoping they could help me, but they didn't. So I picked it up and go to other place.
The rare thing is that i have just two years with my mac, and i didn't do anything stupid on it (didn't fall, get wet, microwave, hot, shocked, hit or anything) It just stopped working. Two times it turned on. But if not, it's the same story:
When i pushed the button to turn on, sounds like baaaaaammmm, but then again, and again, and again, and the screen doesn't get blue or anything, it appears a foder with a "?" and then the computer turns off...
Im wondering if this is a problem on this computers, because some of my friends told me things much like that that happened with their macbooks.

Acrobat X Pro has a flawed serial number application form at the point where it asks for your State, the first time. I will not allow me
to complete the form and receive my Serial Number.@I purchased it from my University bookstore and the attending clerk was no better informed than was I.
The form is required to be infilled in order to receive the serial number necessary for installation of the software
After five hours of trying, I was able to overcome the flaw in the form, as it appeared on the Acrobat website, and
complete the two pull-down menus indicating the State in which I live.
I called Adobe Customer Care for assistance and had to wait two hours for a return call, and by the time the
call came though I had found that the website form allowed me to pull-down for the State of location.
Adobe is an uncaring vendor, once it has your money in hand. -

Download and install it from http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/photoshop-elements-7-8-9-downloads.html then use your serial number to activate it.
If you don't use it anymore on your old computer, deactivate it there before installing on the new one. -

Vincas+Alesius this is due to the a connection error between the computer and our activation servers. You will want to try the suggestions offered by Mylenium in message #1. Until a couple of weeks ago I could clear my history under the "Tools" setting.
Now the only way I am able to clear history is to open the history, select all, and then delete---all manually.Dear cor-el:
I did restart in Safe Mode; however, I DID make change in the Safe Mode restart window, resetting to defaults.
Not only did this not help, but now it is worse, as my history won't show up when I click "Show All History" so I am unable to clear history even manually.
Did I misunderstand your suggestion? I've been using Firefox with various versions of OX 10 for years w/o such a problem, and now have so many bookmarks on Firefox that I hate to abandon the browser.
However, I do not wish to have a permanent, unclearable history.
