I purchased the student version of lightroom and used it on PC. Now just got macbook and would like to install on this but no disc drive on macbook. how can i download it and enter an activation key?
i have activation code. originally purchased via amazon as the disc version and i have this but no disc drive.
If you registered the license with Adobe, then you should be able to download the software from your "My Plans and Products" associated to you Adobe ID. Assuming you are logged in with your Adobe ID, try here:

I currently see the serial numbers of all of my versions of Lightroom (and other Adobe products) and there are download links.

Unfortunately, there is no upgrade from CS3 to CS6. I couldn't even purchase CS6 Design Standard through Adobe. They're only promoting the CC version now. I did manage to speak with a rep through the Chat option at one point who offered to sell me the CS6 Design and Web Premium (I mentioned the CC version doesn't make sense financially for me) but the chat failed before I could go any further. The site is very unstable when searching Products. I ended up purchasing the CS6 Design Standard CD through eBay.

I am getting the PowerPC applications are no longer supported error, so I downloaded Libreoffice and can not find it on my hard drive anywhere. It did say it would install to Applications, but it's not there. How do I find it and can I put it in my dock?

Whoops! I quit iTunes, and reopened. It synced with my iPad, and lo and behold there in books is my PDF. Would sure be easier if when I plugged iPad in it appeared on my desk like a disk, and I could just drag and drop stuff. -

You can directly download 10.5.2 from Apple from here. And if that doesn't work (it didn't when I just tried it -- something wrong with the apple itunes site I assume) download it through macupdate from here.
