I put my ipod on voicecontrol by accident so i typed in my password it said it was wrong i typed it in over and over and it said connect to itunes so I did then i updated it and it told me to restore it still says to connect to itunes please help.

When it finally did turn on it still said please connect to itunes. So i restored it and rebooted it everything. And it still says connect to itunes. I go on itunes and it says ipod touch is in restore mode unlock password. Well I can't do that if my ipod is disabled. Please help.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

If they were deleted from your camera roll that should have resulted in a corresponding decrease in the estimated size of your next backup.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

my ipad is on an infinite loop. I used ios7 for a few days and then did updates on some of my apps. that's when the infinite loop started. I have tried pressing the power and home button at the same time, but it doesn't work. Please help!
I even tried some hints posted for ios6 (turn off Ipad, holding home button and plugging in power cord at the same time and then releasing the home button)
I did manage to get a different screen that shows the itunes icon and a power cord, but nothing happens.You were on the right track. You got the connect to iTunes screen and you ended to use iTujes to restore your iPad. Try recovery mode again.
Recovery Mode Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad. -
okay I'll tell you the whole story; okay, I had this "1" on my settings icon and in my updates, it said there was a new software, I read a bit about it, and it said I needed 50% and needed Internet connection, so I turned on our "wifi" box. it said I can install so I pressed it. and then the Apple logo came up in the middle of the black screen with a loading line below it. so I left it for about 1 hour or so, and came back and it was half way, so I left it again of the same amount of time, and when I came back it had the computer side of the white cord that you get with your IPod and an arrow pointing towards the ITunes Icon, so I guessed that I had to go to ITunes so I did, and it told me to restore my iPod, I didn't know what that meant so I clicked Restore and Update, and up the top of the screen it said it was "extracting" and then a alert came saying there was an error, so I I clicked "ok" and then my IPod went to a black screen and the Apple Logo appeared in the middle of the screen again, I left it for 1 hour and came back it hadn't changed, so I left it over night on charge and in the morning it hadn't hanged, so I took it off charged for the rest of the day, and it said it needed charge, so the black screen and the apple logo must have taken away charge, so as soon as I plugged it into the computer again, it went back to the black screen with the apple logo, so now it wont even let my reset my iPod, so now I have to see if it is fixable, if it is not I blame the instructions IOS resolving thingy, and get a new iPod or spend a lot of money fixing it, I would trade it, but I doubt my folks would let me, so thanks a lot, if you know any way of fixing my iPod please "please" PLEASE! help me, it would be greatly appreciated, if I don't get it working I may loose friends, because my iPod was for some of my best friends the only way I stay in contact with them. - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

You must be using an update CD. You need the software that has the full version first - install that, then you can use the update one if needed. I know, cuz I made the same mistake - lol

I had the same problem but looking at what everyone else said, I simpley slowly started to click on all the tabs in the app store, let them load completely, and then clicked back to the updates afterwards. It worked after a little while

While trying to import pictures from iPhone to iTunes, iTunes request to make software update and then to restore iPhone. I have cancelled the restore to rpotect pictures. The pictures have not been imported yet, but the iPhone display freezed at ITune connection page. Please help me save pictures and use the iPhone as usual. Restarting of the phone did not work so far.

I made a movie in iMovie then deleted the clips in it. I have reimported the clips in an event with the same name as previously and some clips in the movie are still saying source slip missing even though they are there. Some clips are fine in the movie, but most are just black and when I hover over them, it says source clip missing. How to I fix this? Thank You
I did that too, then I did a migration assistant to a new Mac and ALL of my movies have Source Clip Missing now, even though the original clips are still in the iPhoto Videos. I can stand to re edit one or two projects, but not ALL.

Try resetting the Nano with it still connected to a high powered USB 2.0 port on your PC. To reset the iPod, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
