I put my samsung headphones in all the way and there's no treble and sound is muffled, halfway in and sound is fine but headphones fall out of jack.
They are the stock headphones that came with my Samsung Galaxy S.
Also when I plug in my Samsung headphones there is 3 stages of volume:
1, when the jack is completely out and the iPod is in speaker mode, the volume automatically gets set to zero.
2, I have them half-in and they work normally, and I keep at 50% volume, but fall out if I don't hold it in
And 3, when I push it completely in and the volume changes for a third time, to another volume value..

Go step by step and test.
1. System Preference > Sound > Output > Internal Speakers
Highlight Internal Speakers.
Make sure that Mute is not enabled.
2.Plug in and remove the headphone.
If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.

Choose the method for:
"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".

I was wondering it the life of the battery would last longer if you let the battery run down all the way and then charge it? Or to charge it whenever you have the opportunity even if it doesn't have a low battery? Which is better for the life of the battery and prolong the life of the battery?
I've had a iPhone 4s since March 2012, and it's battery is pretty useless now. I was using the app Battery Doctor (Battery Saver, Battery Life) by Beijing Kingsoft Internet Security software, which encourages the user to charge more often, whenever battery life drops below 100% full and greater than 20% full, and gives ratings according to the number of full, partial & overcharges done, but I'm concerned that charging like that actually results in worse battery life??
I now have an new iPhone 5 and don't want the battery to only last as short as the last one did

Which operating system are you running on?
The date & Time can be displayed by going to the View menu and checking Details - also File Names if you want them displayed.
The Album information is saved within the catalog so it sounds as though you didn't do a catalog backup on the old computer and a catalog restore on the new computer which is the recommended way of transferring elements data. Did you just copy the photos over?

I have been having problems downloading apps with my cellular data. I try installing apps from the app store and when it starts loading it just stays loading for a while but all of a sudden it loads all the way and then it restarts. It goes back to waiting

hd show i have downloaded them in the past and they work fine but now i cant buy any new ones it grayed out and wont let me click on them
If you Go to the app store on your phone, then go to updates you should have a purchased icon at the top.
Click on that and it will show the apps you have downloaded before as they are stored on the icloud.
Then you should be able to click on the app and redownload it, not sure if it will charge but its worth a try. -
My itouch home button has been pushed in all the way. It's stuck and is currently not working. The ipod still works, but everytime I want to change apps I have to turn off my ipod and turn it back on to return to the home screen. How do I fix this problem? I'm sorry that you're having issues with Firefox and Farmville. My first suggestion is to ensure that your plugins are up to date. For instance, Farmville relies on the Flash plugin, and I've noticed that your version is slightly out of date. Also, some add-ons, like CoolIris, require a fair amount of system resources to operate. i love add-ons and wouldn't surf the web without them, but sometimes it's easier to disable all of them and just turn on the ones you use to determine if any of them are the culprit.
Another way to determine whether or not the problem is with Firefox or your installed add-ons is to create a fresh profile. You can create a new profile alongside your existing one that doesn't have any of your add-ons or bookmarks installed. Don't worry, it doesn't delete any of your existing data and switching between profiles is easy.

My volume is very low when I download a movie from itunes, and my sound is turn all the way up. The volume works fine on everything else. It's really hard to even watch the movie and enjoy it. Why is this happening?
Morning Al My issue has since been resolved after some advice from a friend. It was simple, push the optical cables in firmly until they click, however mine didnt click but there was definatley room for them to be pushed in further as if they are loose they "leak". in addition to this on the TV settings, make sure that the TV speakers are turned off

My iPad keeps locking itself every few seconds, any ideas how to fix it... Drives me crazy as the screen keeps going blank and I have to constantly put in my pass code every few seconds. Can someone help me out please. The pass code lock is set at 10 minutes but it's happening every few seconds :(
I've run into the issue and it seems to be related to an app not fully supporting the iOS you're on, the reboot doesn't usually solve it.
I've solved it in the following manner(s):
1) Backup the device to iCloud, then erase the iPad (Content and Network Settings).
2) Setup the iPad and choose to restore from iTunes/iCloud Backup (wherever you backed it up)
3) Perform any software updates
I have not tried simply performing the software updates (which may fix it, but if it doesn't you won't be able to perform the above steps).

I bought an iPod touch 6th generation about a year ago and it was working perfectly until now. On Tuesday, I updated -manually- like six songs to my iPod and it appeared like it worked but when I disconnected it the songs weren't on my iPod. Since then I tried the same twice and it wasn't until today that I looked for the songs on the iPod while it was connected to iTunes. The songs were there, but they appeared as if the iPod was still trying to copy them, I deleted them and copy them again and it finally worked.
The problem was when I unplugged the iPod and open my music there... all my songs were missing except for those six ones I copy minutes before. I connected it back to iTunes and everything was right were it was supposed to be but my iPod still had the most recent songs. When I try to play the songs appearing on the iPod music on iTunes, an exclamation point appears beside them.
I read it is because it can't find where the music came from but I haven't found a way to let the iPod know the songs are still there. I would really appreciate your help because I don't want to lose my music and playlists.The ! means the actual music files can't be found.
If the ! is in iTunes on the computer the redownload/reimport the songs.
If on the iPod:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Unsync/delete all music and resync
