Specifically:
Turn off iCloud completely
Depending on whether you want to stop using iCloud on all or only some devices, do one or more of the following:
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account
Once you've performed this step go back to Settings and add the correct iCloud account.

You can try recovery mode to see if you can revive the iPad.

Settings>Store: Tap the AppleID and choose "Sign Out", it will then prompt you to sign in and you can use the new AppleID.
NOTE: Apps must be updated with the AppleID they were purchased under.

Check the USB port and the USB cable for any kind of lint, debris or bent pins.
Try another, working USB cable.
If still no luck, get it checked by visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider or contact Apple Support to get it serviced:

Go to Settings > Wifi, turn the Wi-Fi switch off then on again then select the network you want to join.

CRIO startup directory was typed STARTUP and now will not boot. How do I recover from this error or how do I rename the directory when my proxy server is read only due no startup files?

I loaded files on the cRIO but used upper case letters for the startup directory. Now I cannot access the RIO since it didn't boot. The proxy server comes up read-only so I can't reload the files or change the directory. I tried the RS232 port but I can't get it to respond to commands even though I can see the processor boot.

I have just bought an iphone 4s and backed it up from my 3gs. have now deleted 3gs backup and it will not back the 4S up. just sits int he candy stripes saying backing up iphone

I have deleted that previous back up and now when I connect this 4S to iTunes to sync, it sits in Backing Up "Julie's IPhone" with the candy stripes, it will not proceed further. Until I upgraded to 4.0 I had no trouble with accessing Mozilla.

I too find that Firefox 4 is an absolute memory hog. It takes forever to do anything. I have a small eMachines, one of the last ones to be installed with Windows XP. Firefox 4 seems to assume a volume of memory that simply does not exist on my machine.

I have opted out forever on the stupid )(&**%^*&()*^ tab that occurs in the MIDDLE OF MY SCREEN, covering a THIRD of my screen (and at 62cm - this is over kill!) .... FAIL. (at least 4 times)

I realise this can not be fixed on the spot, as it is going to require an actual programmer to fix it but please, pass this up to or over to whoever CAN fix it. I have used firefox since before patch 4 after it went live. I ADORED the old "you are F****d (etc" page you used to have that was directly opposed to internet explorers page not found - and I actually took the time to read it and had a terrible time stopping the laughter (at work of all places) when I did. I do not want to change browser, but these *features* do not enthrall me - especially since *features* should be optional, and turning them off should work.

When I click on the popup to remember password it doesn't take. The popup just sits there. I close it and password is not saved. How do I fix this?

This is not just problem sites like gmail or yahoo. Every site I go to is having this same problem. Window pops up asking to "remember password for x on x" and I press the "Remember Password" button and nothing happens. The popup just stays there like it didn't register my response. Finally I close it and ultimately the password is not saved. It's clearly a bug but I can't figure how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files key3.db and signons.sqlite that store the encrypted names and passwords in Firefox. 
Rename the files key3.db and signons.sqlite in the Firefox profile folder. 
You can add .old to the file names (key3.db.old and signons.sqlite.old) or move them to another folder to make it possible to undo the action. 
You need to set a new Master Password after renaming or deleting key3.db and all currently saved passwords are lost. 
If that has worked then you can remove the renamed files that are no longer needed.

I just downloaded the update for CS6 Extended and Bridge will not open. How to fix?

I still have CS5 Extended on my Mac for the time being, and Bridge won't open with either program. Not sure what to do to fix. Anyone have a similar issue and a fix? Thanks.
