When making a photo book, my iPhoto freezes during uploading the book to the storey. I have attempted this 4 times now and I don't know what to do! I know the file size is massive due quantity of large image files, but I don't want to reduce the image file size and compromise quality in the book. How can I get past this?
My macbook air is os x 10.9, using iPhoto 11 9.5 (902.7).Try Old Toad's solution here: See Re: iphoto : upload impossible to print a book
Try to boot into Safe Mode and order this way, or sign into a different user account and try to order as a different user.

I have the iPhone 5 and with the new sofware update it added a passcode lock. Same for the iPad. I removed the passcode lock from my iPhone and now I can access my iPad. It is still asking for the four digit passcode. I tried using the one that was orgingally programed and it disables it every time. How can I get past this? I have tried to do a restore and it still takes me back to the lock screen. Please help!
Force iPad into Recovery Mode. Follow step 1 to 6 very closely.

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

Just deactivated my iPhone 4s and replaced with 5s. The phone was wiped. I would like to activate it just to use it as an iPod. However I do not remember my iCloud username and password (from several years ago) and cannot activate without it. How can I get past this?

I'm embarassed to ask this: when I click on the new mail icon to write a new email message, in the box "FROM" appears the wrong email address: I have three but mainly use one. How can I correct this so that the right email address appears in the "FROM" box?
I assume this is Apple Mail. Try this:
Preferences > Accounts > your-first-account
Select Outgoing Mail Server of account/name you wish to use and check Use only this server
Repeat for other accounts. -

I was trying to buy more space on iCloud , hit the wrong key, and now it is hanging on my iPad. What to do?
A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure. -
I originally had two libraries in iPhoto, my wife and I share two iMacs at different locations but we wanted to share the photos and it was set up this way Apple Geniuses at the store I have no idea why. Anyway, I updated to OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.3 with the new 'photos' app. It asked me to choose one of the libraries and evidently I assume I must have chosen the wrong one. It only imported 322 random photos, not the 10,000+ we had in iPhoto. I can no longer find these photos or the other library anywhere, it appears to have been deleted. I have tried 'alt' clicking the icon which used to open a 'choose library' box, but this no longer works in photos or iPhoto. I have no idea where it has gone and it contains precious memories over the years including the birth of our children. Can someone please help???
Where is your iPhoto library stored?
my wife and I share two iMacs at different locations but we wanted to share the photos and it was set up this way Apple Geniuses at the store I have no idea why.
Since you are sharing it between two Macs, is the library on an external drive or a NAS, or another remotely mounted volume?
If the library is not on a directly connected disk, formatted MacOS Extended, move the original iPhoto Library to a directly connected, correctly disk.
And the try first the iPhoto Library First Aid Tools on that library. Repair the permissions, and repair the database in iPhoto. Then try to migrate again to Photos.
To repair hold down the alt/option and the command key simultaneously while double clicking the iPhoto Library to launch the iPhoto Library First Aid tools. Hold down both keys firmly and long enough, until the First Aid panel will appear.
The select "Repair Permissions". And then repeat, but select "Repair Database"
But make a current backup of your iPhoto Library before you try this. -
Can't restore, can't power off, and pc can't detect iPad. Error code 3014 when trying to upgrade. Can't even restore to original settings. Opened Hosts files and I did not see 127....gs.apple.com, or other suggested files. Pls help.
Did you see the very end of this about not having enough space left on your computer specific to therror code 3014?
Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.
Error 3002: If you experience this error while updating an iPod touch (2nd generation) or iPhone 3G, please use the standard update or restore process in iTunes (click Update or Restore).
Error 3014 may indicate that you need to free up more disk space on the computer before trying to restore again. -
I can't change the "media kind" to book from music because this option is greyed out. How can I change this so I can view the digital booklet that should have come with my "delux" purchase?
Does this happen with all media in iTunes or just that one specific track?
If it happens with everything, try following along with turingtest2's fix in this thread -> Information boxes grayed out
The Music folder that those files are stored in might be locked or your user account may not have complete access.
If it only happens with one track, try importing it into iTunes again or redownloading it. -
Password lock on LG lucid. don't know the password, how can I get past this?
I am sure one of my children set this password but now can not remember it..(young kids..my fault for giving free access). Since the battery died and I had to recharge now I cant get into the phone because a PIN has been set. I dont know the pin. I see how if you have an unknown pattern it gives you the option to select forgot pattern but this doesnt seem to be happening with the password.
Can anyone help? The safest way is to take the phone to your local Verizon store. They have the PUK (personal unlock key) to open the phone for you. Once open, you can remove the forgotten password, or change it.

Tip for "Always On" Audio (possibly works on any Mac)
Those users who have a preamp &/or headphones connected to their Mac will notice a distinct "click" when the power is applied/removed from the audio chip, when sound is called. And there's always a lag when it turns on. This has gone on far enough. H
