Ok, i got my ipod in April and it's worked fine. In late August my computer Broke/Virus and everything has been wiped off e.g. music, videos, podcasts etc. I now have my computer. But in this time i have been charging my ipod (video) through my laptop. And now that my computer is back will it delete everything which is on my ipod now, or is there some way off transferring the songs on my ipod to be saved on to my computer. Please help, i do not even dare connect my ipod to my computer in case it deletes everything. PLEASE HELP.
This has been covered here many, many times already, so if you'd searched a bit, you'd have found the answer already. But again, the easiest way to get you tracks back from your iPod into your computer will be to search VersionTracker for "iPod". You'll find a number of utilities that can transfer your tracks and your playlists from your iPod back to your PC.
It's also possible to do this manually, but the procedure is rather involved. If you're interested, though, see this thread:

hello there, this is really urgent i would like to ask if there is a way to deactivate/lock my Mini Ipad because it was stolen, i hope you can provide me a way to do so, thank you for the support and i really hop you can help me, i bought this mini ipad not too long ago.
Unless you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did enable it then you could try locating and/or remotely wiping it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
If you haven't already done so then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc., and if it was a cellular model you should also contact your carrier. -
Hi, I hope you can help. I'm sure this is something really basic that I should be able to fix myself, but.................
I was working on a photo calendar on my macbook off the battery and the battery suddenly ran out. So it wasn't shut down properly. Now when I open i photo the coloured wheel just keeps spinning and I can't get into it. Everything else on the computer seems to work. I've done forced quit and restarted it a few times and also left it running.

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

My iPod touch 4 wont charge. I've had this problem before, and i solved it by buying a new charger. But I tried all different outlets, and even bought a new charger and still nothing. It's dead, and it comes on with the apple sign and all that, but it doesn't actually charge when on the lockscreen or anywhere else. My iPod is out of it's warrenty. I've seriously tried everything. It also has about 300 megabytes left, and the screen is shattered with about 1-2 cenimeters falling off in the top right corner, but I really don't think that that's a problem. Don't worry, this is probably just Verbose Mode. It's perfectly harmless. If you're not specifically invoking it, than it's probably down to an unwanted setting in NVRAM. See this article on resetting NVRAM if it continues to bother you.

Can you please help solve my sudden problem saving photos in version sets?
Saving edited photos in Version Set
Ever since I have owned the excellent Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, I have saved edited photos in a version set with the original. Now, in spite of the 'save in Version Set' box being ticked, they are saved separately. When the edited photo is saved, it says 'imported from hard disk'. It has never said this before.
When the photos are imported from the camera, they are saved in Adobe/Digital Camera Photos/code provided by photoshop (eg 2006-03-10-1632-38). Under properties/history it says imported from Panasonic DMZ-TZ3. This has not changed. All the saving arrangements appear to be unchanged.
Photos (thousands!) have been successfully edited and saved in a Version Set. Under properties/history it says 'edited version' and 'imported from Panasonic DMZ-TZ3'.
Suddenly, photos that have been edited and should have been saved in a version set, now say under properties/history nothing about being edited. They say 'imported from hard disk'. In other words they are being treated as a new photo.
I really hope you can help me to solve this infuriating problem. Please ask if you need more information.

MichaelMichael: are you still using an old version o0f PSE (e.g. PSE V4)? Problems similar to the one that you described are relatively frequent in old PSE Versions ( I was suffering a lot from them)..... and there are quite seldom in newer PSE versions. Unfortunately, I do not remember which PSE Version became much better in this area (was it V5? or V6?)
If using an older PSE version and encoutering often the problem: consider to migrate to a newer PSE Version.. -

First of all, did you have PSE installed before updating to 10.10? If so, you need to do this:

Also, be sure you have updated to 10.10.1. And if you have a large number of recently imported images in the organizer, PSE will be slow till organizer is through creating thumbnails for the photos. -
