I updated my LG G3 this week and now it SUCKS! When I'm connected to WIFI, nothing on Facebook works. The photos and videos won't populate. I have to turn off the WIFI and only use the mobile data. Try the following to rule out a software problem:

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

My Macbook Pro is running really slow and programs keep crashing
I have a 15" MacBook Pro (Mid 2010 Model) that is doing my head in, as it runs really slow most of the times as soon as I open more than one program (especially if I use Excel or Word of course). I ran the EtreCheck and the result is below, hopefully this will help some of you guide me in the right direction?
Most of my memory (over 200GB) is used up by "OTHER", any idea what that could be and how I could easily free up space?

Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if Safari crashed, you would enter "Safari" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.
When you post the log extract or the crash report, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "The message contains invalid characters." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the text on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created. -
The new look iOS 7 is all "pretty" turquoises, lime greens and sky blue and the size of my Apps filed in their boxes are so tiny as to be illegible and the names in Contacts etc are allmuch, much smaller and totally impossible to read.
I absolutely hate it - it is not an "improvement"!
How can I go back to my previous settings, if at all?
If this is the way Apple is going then a completely different phone might have to be the way forward -surely we can have a choice - if Microsoft can continue to offer Classic as a look in windows, surely I can keep a classic iPhone appearance???
I am an older professional - I do not want a phone-screen which looks a like a jart of sweets - I want my highly organised, easy to read, filing system back please!!
Am I the only Luddite out there?Two mayor reason:
1) If you restore the backup in your iPad some file is corrupt or make conflict, but you have wipe your iPad and you have restore all the apps from zero, and nothing happend, try to wipe your ipad and try to install the email and your icloud account (if you have) and make a test, if working fine add one by one the other apps and test, when you find the apps give you a prob try to install all apps without this apps and make a backup for the future.
2) If nothing happend ask the test on a Genius Bar near you maybe is an hardware problem i think.

Being unable to open Firefox just started one day, unexpectedly. I had been on Firefox already that day. I've tried starting a Profile Manager but when I went to "run" and typed in "firefox.exe-ProfileManager" I got the exact same error message as seen above in my question.
The updater may not have been able to update all the files and some were left as older versions.<br />
You need to do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

The change between Firefox 3.6.* and Firefox 4 is how location bar search works. In Firefox 3.6 it uses Google "Browse by name" search. With the browse by name search, it performs a Google search and if there is a clear match it will take you to the site, otherwise it shows the Google search result. With Firefox 4 it just performs a Google search if you type something which is not recognised as a URL.
To get the Firefox 3.6 behaviour on Firefox 4 you need to change a hidden preference.

Illustrator CS3 really hates my mouse scroll wheel
CS3 Web Premium arrived on Friday and I'm loving it so far, but I'm having a bit of trouble with Illustrator. Haven't really used it before, I come from the Macromedia user base and upgraded from Studio 8.
What happens is, whenever I use the scroll wheel on my mouse (Logitech MX Revolution using SetPoint 3.30) inside Illustrator, Windows Vista plays that 'bing' system sound known as the Default Beep. In fact the scroll wheel sets of insane cascades of this bing sound, it keeps machine gunning for several seconds. This mouse has a 'free wheel' construction with ball bearings, the idea being that you can set it spinning and it'll keep going for up to 7 seconds. If I set it spinning in Illustrator CS3, the bing sound is retriggered several times a second and the computer keeps ringing like an old phone for up to a minute.
I realize I could simply disable the darn system sound, but this won't fix whatever is broken. It might as well be a problem with Logitech's driver, but again, this issue is exclusive to Illustrator. Doesn't happen in other CS3 apps, or any other apps.
Anyone else getting hammered by this bi-bi-bi-bi-bing-bi-bing sound?What is it with Logitech? They must have tens of thousands of Illustrator users in their customer base, in fact right now they're bragging about their new Adobe CS3 drivers for their NuLOOQ products. Do you have to be a gamer in order to make Logitech fix SetPoint bugs?
Actually, I've noticed there are problems with Logitech mice in Flash as well. When I grab the 'playhead' and drag it to another position along the timeline, and I don't let go immediately, I get this huge empty window that pops up on top of the stage & timeline, concealing them from view. It's... just a window, approximately 600x400 pixels, no title, no contents just Vista's default application icon in the middle. It won't disappear until I let go of the left mouse button. It only happens when Logitech mice + SetPoint is involved. If I use the laptop's touchpad instead, I can't make the mysterious window appear. -
I can't tell if my Photoshop/Premiere Elements 11 download really included both programs.
I purchased the Photoshop/premiere elements 11 in Dell download locker. After downloading and extracting zip, I have an Element icon but not Premiere. Everything in the zip files lead back to Photoshop, even the ones in the Premiere folder. It says photoshop once its oopened. Aren't they 2 different programs? I'm not sure if I've installed this correctly or not.
It shows a folder for Elements 11 Organizer, a Photoshop Elements 11 icon,
and a flash player folder.
I re-downloaded it. Same thing, just those 3.
But in the My Downloads folder is shows Photoshop elements and Premiere elements. But when I run setup.exe in the Premiere, it is the wizard for removing Photoshop. Pressing next will remove the first one, not install the second one. This makes no sense. -
Is there a way to change the transparency setting on the new Yosemite? I really hate it!
I recently downloaded OS X Yosemite, and the only thing I'm having a problem with is the transparency of all the windows. I can't find anywhere to change it in the System Preferences. Any advice?
In System Preferences, choose Accessibility, then select Display from the items on the left, and check the box next to "Reduce transparency". I have also heard that checking "Increase contrast" will reduce the transparency more, but all I can confirm is that it does indeed increase the contrast---too much for my taste.

I can't get rid of the Vuze remote toolbar. I hate this program
I failed to uninstall "Vuze" application's remote toolbar. It pops up on my firefox website with a "BING" as a search browser. I want to go back to "google" , but "Vuze" does not allows me to replace it. What could I do?
In Firefox, you often can disable or remove third party toolbars here:
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions category
In this case, you might need to check for both Vuze and Ask (they seem to be related).
If you can disable but not remove, then you need to use the Windows control panel to fully remove the toolbar.
Does that fix it? -
