    Hi p,
If you mean software, go to the Apple menu and select Software Update.
If you mean the actual hardware GPU, that is soldered onto the logic board and is not upgradeable.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

i lost my Iphone 4 last week & ineed to follow up it by serial number but i don't know how i can do it,i need help

If you need to find your serial number you can check:
    The box it came in
iTunes, by going to Preferences>Devices and hovering your mouse over the backup
http://supportprofile.apple.com, if you ever registered it with Apple.
This won't help you find it, however.  It will only enable you to prove it is yours if it is found, and to inform your insurance company.

  • I need to get songs that are currently on an ipod onto my computer

I have a windows pc, I just formatted the harddrive. I expected that I could just copy all the songs from the ipod to the computer but that didn't work (some error)
So how would I go about doing this? How would I get my songs back on my computer. I didn't download them from itunes btw.

Connect your iPod to your computer. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button: Managing content manually on iPod
Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. The transfer of non iTunes Music Store content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there is a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows. The procedure is a bit involved and was written long before iTunes 7 so it requires a little adaptation as the iPod preferences are no longer in the location described for instance but if you're interested it's posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes
If you prefer something more automated then there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. This is just a selection, you'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, they are generally quite straightforward. You can also read reviews of some of them here: Wired News - Rescue Your Stranded Tunes
    YamiPod Mac and Windows Versions
    iGadget Windows Only
    Music Rescue Mac & Windows
    iPodCopy Mac and Windows Versions
    TuneJack Windows Only
    iPod2PC Windows Only
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up in case you have problems again. Relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

  • How do i transfer videos i record on my ipod to my computer

How do I transfer my videos that I've recorded with my ipod to my computer?

There are several ways, but the easiest way would be through dropbox. Its a free app and gives you the ability to transfer files to a server and can be accessed by ANY computer device that has internet. There is a limit of 2G of storage. There is a paid option to get more room. You can move the file(s) this way and if you need more room, just remove the transferred file and continue on. The 2G is at any one time, not how much you transfer.
There are a lot more options for Dropbox that you can check out. Great service. Well, bonus on your part. I have not had a reason to apply on a ipod so I checked on the site and yes it does work on an ipod.

  • I need to rotate a video that I took, but I don't know how.

I took a video, but when I imported it onto my computer it is upside-down. Is it possible to rotate it?

Modern emulators are much more efficient. The current champ seems to be Parallels with most favorable reviews.
    http://www.parallels.com/landingpage/dskd77-2/?source=g_us&gclid=CP6gw4uJoKwCFcp 65QodgTO62A
Mac OS also comes with Apple's free Boot Camp utility, which allows you to install Windows directly into a special disk partition, without emulation software. Which versions of Windows are supported is dependent on which OS X you have. To switch from one system to another, you need to re-boot into that partition.
The advantage of virtualization software is that the integration is practically seamless, to the point of not even having to care which of your applications is Mac and which Windows. CPU-intensive games are the weakest point, but not terrible. And, of course, you have to have a copy of Windows to install (full version, not just an update).
As AE noted, what's best for you depends on what your intended usage is.
    BTW, VirtualPC is no more.

  • Need to build a computer but I don't know what questions to ask

I've finished a couple semesters in school studying After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. I'm about to start moving forward in producing some video content and forming a career around it. I purchased a copy of Adobe CS6 production premium and I need to build a computer to run it on. I'm willing to pay for quality but I don't want to overspend. I'm a geek but have been out of the "Performance PC Game" for so long now that I don't know where to begin. Most of my work will be in After Effects and Premier editing video (mostly that I will shoot myself on a quality undetermined model camera).
I want a computer that is powerful enough to keep up with me as my skills grow. I also want to build it from the ground up. Money isn't as much as an issue for me as long as I don't have to upgrade in a year from now. If you were going to build a new box and wanted to "spend smart" what would you build? I know the first thing you are going to ask me is my budget, but it varies. I'd like to spend under $2k (not including monitors) but if I need to go over that, so be it.

You need to thoroughly read Harm's Tweakers Page on out PPBM7 web site.
What media are you going to be editing?
If you want the latest and greatest (longest life cycle) there will be a new generation of high end CPU's and chipsets introduced by Intel, I have heard, this mid-September.  It is the Haswell-E CPU and the X99 chipset.
The CPU will be available in 6-cores and 8-core versions.  While tending towards expensive a low end version of this new generation would be a great long-term investment.  The low-end Hasewell-E CPU chip is the i7-5820K has a pre-order price of $426.
The DDR4 memory will (at least initially) will be more expensive but is much faster and again will be around for a long time whereas the current DDR3 will start becoming obsolete.  You can possibly start out with minimal memory (DDR4 is now available in 4, 8, and 16 GB modules) at least the 8 GB size so you have the option to easily add more memory as you get into more complex processing.
Get yourself a small (128 GB) good SSD for your OS/Applications and at least one other good SSD plus a large hard drive as a good starting point.  Good SSD's have great write rates like the Crucial M550 and the Samsung 840 Pro.
The new X99 chipset motherboards offer great expansion capabilities with many more PCIe lanes than the current quad core CPU motherboards so your options for future upgrades are wide open.  Many new X99 motherboards will have an M.2 connector on the motherboard and/or SATA Express connectors which are great advances in the new higher performance SSD's that remove the bandwidth limitations of SATA 6Gb/s.  In the not to distant future we are talking (very expensive) SSD's the will have up to 3000 MB/sec read speed!

  • I just got a MacBook and I have had an iPhone for a few years. I want to sync all my music, videos, etc from my iPhone to my new Mac which has nothing on it, but I don't know how.

Hi! So I recently bought a new MacBook, but I've had an iPhone for years. I want to sync all of my music from my iPhone to my Mac's iTunes. Whenever I open iTunes and connect my phone though, it want to sync my iTunes library, instead of the other way around. This would erase all my music from my phone. Anyone know how to sync the other way? From iPhone to Mac?

You cannot synch the other way, with the exception of songs purchased on iTunes.
What you need to do is move the iTunes library from the computer to which you've been synching your phone and put it on your new MacBook.
