I receive a confirm dialog box, when clicking on "stay on page" nothing happens

I receive a notice that says "stay on page or leave page". When I click on either button nothing happens, then the page locks up and I have to shut down by pressing the power button as nothing will work and restart my computer a Mac Pro new 2012.

Where are these buttons? I took a look at www.toolkitcma.com, but I did not see buttons with those messages on them. Maybe it might have helped if I had an account there, and I did not want to set up one just to test. Does that problem occur with any other site?

No, Nothing happened, nothing was downloaded. When I say nothing happened I mean NOTHING HAPPENED, What can I say to make it more clear. How could I run a file that wasn't downloaded.....Nothing happened, rien, nada, b***** all. Why would I post a message saying "When I press the Save button nothing happens" if something had been downloaded.
I've found out why. It is because I am using Firefox. Presumably a case of Apple treating us users of the superior Operating system (Windows) with distain.

"Security Warning" dialog box when click script set to Run at Server

I am rendering a PDF form using the renderForm component. I'm setting the Target URL. I have a script on a button set to "run at server". I can render my form in a browser and fill it out, but when I click the button I get a dialog box with a title of "Security Warning". It says "Acrobat is attempting to connect to [target URL]" with options to Allow or Block. Is this the expected behaviour for server-side execution of scripts?
I'm thinking that maybe I should just use a submit button instead. The problem with that though, is that I don't want to run the mandatory field rules and validation rules. As I understand, you can't submit a form with a submit button unless all the mandatory fields are completed.
Here's the requirement. I need to have two "submit" buttons. One checks all the mandatory field rules before submitting a "final" version of the form. The other button submits a "draft" version without the mandatory checks. I was hoping that the second button could be implemented as a normal command button with a script that executes server-side. Sure enough, it attempted to submit without checking the mandatory fields. Unfortunately I ran into other undesirable side-effects including a distressing "Security Warning" dialog box.

How to open subscribe dialog box when clicking ics link

I would like to create a web page containing all our shared calendar links so my users need only to click a link which will open iCal, have the "subscribe" dialog box pop up and have the calendar URL auto filled.
I've gotten as far as opening the ics file with iCal but am stuck on how to force the "subscribe" box to automatically open.
For example, I would want the link: http://sharedcalendars/home/scott/calendar.ics
to open iCal, pop up the "subscribe" box and auto fill the URL field with http://sharedcalendar/home/scott/calendar.ics .
My users are lazy and complain to great lengths about having to manually type the URL of each shared calendar.
Any Ideas?

How can I disable "download error" dialog box when saving a complete web page?

Sometimes, when I try to save a web page as type: "Web Page, complete", firefox displays download error dialog box stating a file "could not be saved, because the source file could not be read."
I don't have a problem with firefox couldn't save that file, but I have a problem with firefox displaying that dialog box, because I have to click OK everytime.
Is there a way to disable that annoying dialog box?

I modified the host file mainly to block ads. But that's not the problem. It's OK for me for firefox to not saving some parts of a page (ads usually within a frame). It's my intention to NOT saving those files. I just want to save the main content of a webpage.

when startup is completed, the user tries to click on anyting - Finder, items on desktop. Nothing happens. The cursor moves fine, so there's nothing wrong with mouse.

Create a new account, name it "test" and see how your apps work in that User acct? (That will tell if your problem is systemwide or limited to your User acct.) This account is just for test, do nothing further with it.
Open System Preferences >> Accounts >> "+" make it an admin account.
If the problem is present in the test account also, then it is systemwide. In this case try repairing this with the 10.5.5 Combo Update This is a fuller install, as opposed to an incremental "delta" update so it should overwrite any files that are damaged or missing. It does not matter if you have applied it before.
Remember to Verify Disk before update and repair permissions after update from /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.
If the problem does not appear in the test account try starting in "Safe Mode" (It will take a bit more time to startup because it runs a directory check first).
If that works go to System Preferences >> Accounts >> Login Items and remove them. Boot normally and test. If there are still problems, go to ~(yourHome)/Library/Contextual Menu Items and move whatever is there to the desktop. Then do the same with /Library/Contextual Menu Items. Lastly, try moving /Users/Home)/Library/Fonts to your desktop and restarting.
Log out/in or restart, if that sorts it start putting items back one at a time until you find the culprit.

Re-enabling confirmation dialog box when deleting playlists

When deleting a playlist, a confirmation box will appear and also the option to no longer see the confirmation box. I enabled this option. I no want to see this confirmation box again. How can I re-enable it? I couldn't find anything in the .plist file.

Ok, I got the dialog back. If you discard the preference file, it restores all the dialogs. But they really should add a way to change that without redoing your prefs. (Not a big deal, it takes you through most everything when you re-open iTunes.) Note, the dialog only shows up with playlists that have songs in them – empty ones just delete.
Close iTunes, delete this file:
/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist
Reopen iTunes, follow dialogs to reset preferences.
Sure wish you could just "undo."

Submiting JSF form on clicking ok of Confirm dialog box

We are using JSF 1.2 and Seam 2 in our project.
We have set of requirements
1)To throw a confirmation dialog box when user tries to navigate away from page with out saving the data changes. It includes browser closure, back button and refresh as well along with other application navigation links.
2) upon clicking ok we need to save the current JSF form and redirect to where user is intended to navigate.
Please let me know the best ways of implementing the above requirements.

It *appears* you want the leading set to 100% of your font size. That is *technically* not a problem, but there are not many fonts that look nice with this. Hence the "120%" default -- neither very good, nor extremely bad. I usually go with about 2 pt above the text point size; but it depends on the font and the font size.

wjosten is right, the iPhone is designed to only sync with a single computer and iTunes library. Whenever you try to switch, iTunes will always erase all iTunes media from the phone first, then replace it with the media of the new library you are attempting to sync with. You can authorize your Apple ID on 5 computers, allowing them to sync your purchased content, but this doesn't override the requirement that a single iPhone can only sync with a single computer at a time, and have it's iTunes media replaced when you change.
If all your iTunes media is on the computer you are trying to sync with you have nothing to fear, as it will simply be synced back to your phone again after it is initially removed. If it isn't, you'll have to settle for the media that is in this iTunes library. If you want to add media from a second computer, import it to iTunes on the computer you normally sync with rather than trying to sync with both computers.

Confirmation dialog box in JSf

Hi,
I have a Save (type 'Submit') button which onClick should give me a confirmation dialog box with Ok and Cancel.
Ok would go ahead with the process and cancel would take me back to where the page was before the save button was clicked.
Any help is really appreciated.

I hope you can invoke a javascript function when the user clicks on "Save" button (onClick event for save button). Specify window.confirm(....) inside your javascript function which will give you confirmation window. I am not well enough how you want to handle navigation in your page.

Multiple Confirmation dialog boxes event handling

Hi all,
I had a scenario, where i need to display two confirmation dialog boxes based on timers.
At the first timers timeout confirmation dialog box poped up and user haven't done anything.
second confirmation dialog popup appears after second timer timeout.
But, my problem is closing or destroying the first dialog box, when handling the second dialog event or before second dialog popup on screen.
Can anyone suggest the best approach to handle dialog destroy functionality.

I am facing a problem here on Same os win 98 using different versions of Java run time environment.
The code is supposed to work in this way.
Applet is initiated by a click. a confirmation dialog box appears askign for input from a user in the form of a Yes or a No. if the user clicks Yes the applet continues otherwise it terminates.
while using 1.4.1_02 This problem occurs that the Confirmation dialog box appears and then disappears for the jar is being downloaded.
But using 1.3.1_04 gives no problems and the Confirmation box does not disappear.
