I receive an error message that I can't use this product under a guest account
hi, after I installed the trial versions, i tried to open the programs and it show an eror:
"Cannot use this product under a guest account"
what is this eror?
what i need to do to fix this?
Branching this to a new discussion. What type of account are you logging in as? Is it an adminsitrator account? If so please try creating a new local administrator account and see if you face the same difficulties.

We are installing acrobat pro with GP on XP systems. The install goes fine but on some users machines when they launch the program it comes back with
"Cannot use this product under a guest account". The users are admins on the system. If I uninstall acrobat pro 10 and reinstall in manually the same error happens. (note these systems had acrobat pro 9 installed, but was un-installed with the acrobat pro 10 MST)Adobe WTF???!!! I have wasted a whole day on this problem and it's pissing me off. I have Acrobat Standard X. I installed the software on local administrator User A and it works
I login as local administrator User B and it doesn't work, says "Cannot use this product under a guest account". Fine.
I uninstalld software as User A and reboot
I login as User B and installd the software. Software doesn't run, still says "Cannont use this product under a guest account". Why???!!! This is ridiculous. User B, is a local admin acount, it is not a "guest account". I understand that with this license I can only run the software with one account. I want to run the software with User B, why are you forcing me to run it with User A???!!!
Can someone from Adobe please give a solution to this ridiculous problem? I'm losing my patience with your products and I am considering going another route... -
can open any adobe product on windows 8. its always says cannot use this product under a guest account... this is the licence version of adobe cc master collection. also i did use the product past few months without any issue...

I have two Airbooks and three IPads. I have installed the ICloud control panel on my Windows 7 (64) PC but after entering my userid and password, I receive an error message that I can't sign in because of a server error.

I get an error message that you can't perform this operation
My client gets an error message that "You can't perform this operation on this page now because someone (me) is currently editing or reviewing it." But I'm not. What is going wrong?
Please ask your client to clear Contribute preference once and try the same scenario.
Here are the steps how to clear the Contribute Preferences:
For Mac, Contribute CS5
1) Quit Contribute.
2) (a) Go to "user/Library/Preferences" and delete the file "Adobe Contribute 6 Preferences".
(b) Go to "user/Library/Application Support/Adobe/" remove "Contribute CS5".
For Mac, Contribute CS4
1) Quit Contribute.
2) (a) Go to "user/Library/Preferences" and delete the file "Adobe Contribute 5 Preferences".
(b) Go to "user/Library/Application Support/Adobe/" remove "Contribute CS4".
If you use CS3, then delete "Adobe Contribute 4.1 Preferences" and "Contribute CS3" folder.
For Win, Contribute CS5
1) Quit Contribute.
2) From Command prompt run the below two commands to remove the preferences
a) reg delete "HKCU\Software\Adobe\Contribute 6" /f
b) RD /S /Q "%Userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Contribute CS5"
For Win, Contribute CS4
1) Quit Contribute.
2) From Command prompt run the below two commands to remove the preferences
a) reg delete "HKCU\Software\Adobe\Contribute 5" /f
b) RD /S /Q "%Userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Contribute CS4"
For CS3
a) reg delete "HKCU\Software\Adobe\Contribute 4.1" /f
b) RD /S /Q "%Userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Contribute CS3"
Note: when you clear the preference all the existing connections will be lost. The connections needs to be recreated.

I downloaded the OS X version 10.9 and my Iphoto version 9.2.3 will not open. I get a message that I can't use this version of the application I photo with this version of OS X. How do I upgrade to a i photo that will run on 10.9. Do I purchase a new program or can I do just an download?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I am a U.S. citizen who works over the internet at home for a man in the U.K. My boss in the U.K. ordered CS3 from the U.K. and shipped it to the U.S.
For almost a year, I was able to use the CS3 products until all the sudden, I get an error message that says, "You cannot use this product at this time. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the product or contact Adobe for technical support." Every time I try and talk to a customer service representative from Adobe, I am either put on hold for about 30 minutes, am asked to contact the offices in the U.K since the product was purchased in the U.K. or am told I can't get any support because I don't have an order number or a serial number or whatever these people are asking for. I do not have that kind of money to be making long distance phone calls to the U.K. only to receive no technical support at all. My job is very important and if my boss paid over $1,000 for the product then either he or I should get the support we need before I end up loosing my job over it. I was once promised a very new clean CS3 CD along with a new serial key for all the trouble I went through with technical support and never received it in the mail. I can give you my boss' contact info, but I refuse to quit until I get the support I am looking for. My boss' number is

am trying to restore my Ipod touch 5 generation but I am receiving an error message that says your Ipod can not be restored you need your password I don't know my password so I don't know what to do. I have started the procedures 3 times but no luck till now
If it is asking for the screen-lock passcode then:
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

When I try to access adobe from my smart phone to use my form created in formscentral I receive an error message that says "unsupported browser". There is a link to download a supported browser but the link directs me to another page that says "browser not supported at this time". This happened to me while using my IPhone 5, a friend that uses an IPhone 6, and another friend that uses a Samsung Galaxy S5. I just need for my employees to be able to access, complete and submit work orders created in formscentral from their phones. Further info - I changed my security settings to allow apps from anywhere, and again tried to install. I again got an error message
