Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes. You can download it from here -> http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If that doesn't work, check out this Apple article -> iOS: Unknown error containing '0xE' when connecting to a Windows PC

  • Itunes can not connect with the Itunes store

Every time I try to connect to the ITunes Store an error pops up :  Itunes can not connect with the Itunes store.  I have downloaded the updated software and have access to the internet.  Anyone ever run into this problem?

If it still has problems after trying the steps above, try resetting Winsock. It looks like it worked for a few people in this thread -> With iTunes 10.4 I can access iTunes store.
MTG68 wrote - In windows 7, click on your start menu, go to accessories, right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator".  Once it opens, type in the following command...
    netsh winsock reset
hit enter and it should say something like winsock reset successful now reboot your computer.

  • TS3212 iTunes can't connect with iPhone because the pairing record is missing

I have been having a lot of trouble with iTunes on Windows XP. I have had to completely uninstall iTunes, QuickTime, iPod, Apple Mobile Support, Apple Application Support, etc. and reinstall iTunes several times just to get to this point: now when I connect my iPhone using USB, I get the error message:
'iTunes could not connect to the iPhone "John L. Mohammed"  because the pairing record is missing.'
What is this about? What can I do about it?
It should be noted that the latest attempt to install iTunes does not seem to have installed QuickTime, though it does not complain about missing software.

Try disconnecting your phone from your computer, quit iTunes, connect you phone to your computer again, the re-launch iTunes.

  • Can not connect with iphone 4

I have just set up Airport Extreme and can not get iphone 4 to connect

I have tried to restore factory settings on Airport
Thank for the info. Here, I assume that you have also re-configured the AirPort again, correct?
Hopefully, you have not chosen the same wireless network name for the AirPort Extreme that you had used previously on your former router, as this can cause conflicts and confusion with some wireless connections.
Please start by deleting your current wireless connection on the iPhone. I don't have iPhone 4, but on 3, you do this by touching Settings, then Wi-Fi, then select your network, then touch Forget this Network.
Then restart the phone and establish a new wireless connection to your AirPort Extreme
Check your connection. If still no luck....
Power cycle the entire network. Power all devices on the network down, order is not important.
Wait a moment, then start the modem first and let it run a moment
Then start your main router the same way
Continue starting devices one at a time until everything is powered back up, and check for proper operation
If you are still having problems, is the iPhone the only device that cannot connect?

    Close your iTunes,

    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt

Anyone getting this error? iTunes could not connect to iPhone because unknown error occurred (0XE8000001)

i can't connect to itunes store the alert error says "itunes could not connect to the itunes store. An unknown error occurred (0x80092013)"

    Hi all,
I have the same problem with my Windows 8.1 laptop and my guess is that since I changed my Internet Provider who now delivers IPv6 addresses the problem occurs. A frieend who has a different provider does not have the problem in his home, but when he tries using iTunes at my home with my network he gets the same problem.
I have already solved a previous problem with Outlook 2003 not being able to receive emails from my wifes GMail account although everything else worked fine. The solution here was to enter the IPv4 address of Google POP-Server in the hosts file, overriding the IPv6 address.
Maybe something similar helps with this iTunes error.
If someone knows the hostname of the iTunes Store server, it could be pinged and the IPv4 address could be determined and then entered in the HOSTS file.
I'll continue trying in this direction and will post a solution if I find one.
If someone has the iTunes server name or IPv4 address, please post it.

I have done all the Apple support ideas including re-installing itunes twice but no joy.
It used to work a week or so ago and no, I can't think of anything I have done which would have stopped it.
I have run msconfig and disabled everything but still no connection.
    Anyone got any ideas?????

    Thanks

Here are some things to try:
    Close itunes
    Check your internet settings.
Control Panel – Internet Options – Advanced
Check SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0
Uncheck “Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)”
    Click Apply
    Click Okay
    Open itunes and try again
And, you don't need to turn off the firewall, just add itunes and itunes helper to your security software firewall.
