Hi, I have received a plastic gift card and I already redeemed it. I now have 15 euro's to spend. However when I try to buy music it asks again for the redeem code. Normally this would not be a problem but I threw way my gift card with the code on it because I thought I didn't need it anymore.
please help me.

Are you sure it's asking for the code from the card and not asking for you to confirm credit card billing information? As Anna said, I've never had iTunes ask for the code from a gift card once I'd redeemed it. If you are certain that it's asking for the code again, Go here:
iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. (There is no phone support for the iTunes Store).

But my sons are now using it also, so my husband thought it would be best to delete the card and buy ITUNES gift cards instead so we dont have to keep loading this card. You can't log into any site and see your account's balance. You can log into your account on your iPad via Settings > iTunes & App Store - on my iOS devices my balance shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to). You may not see anything if your account's balance is zero.
Not sure what you mean by relationship iTunes has to products. You can buy music, films, TV shows, audiobooks via the iTunes app on your iPad, and apps via the App Store app - what you buy will be tied to your iTunes account.

Expanding on what Tim said to make sure it's clear, only the carrier to which the iPhone is locked can authorize unlocking. If Optus is the original carrier, as would seem to be the case, O2 would not be able to unlock it. Only Optus can authorize the unlock, so you'll need to contact them. They say, though, that only the account holder can apply for unlocking, so you might not be able to get it unlocked and will have to work through the person from whom you bought the iPhone.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on your computer's iTunes download it, or does it show in the Purchased section for downloading : click on your id towards the top right of the iTunes screen and then click Purchased on the popup

Sorry, but iTunes cards are country-specific. You cannot use a US iTunes card in a Canadian account. You'll have to give or sell the card to someone in the US and buy a card in Canada.
