i received a serial number and am having a hard time logging on

Roweboat20 which Adobe software are you trying to install?  Which operating system are you using?  Finally do you receive any specific error messages?

    I ordered Lr5 with a credit card here in Abu Dhabi on the Adobe site. I received an email 24 hours later saying the transaction went through and within an hour I should get an email with the serial number. However, never got the email. I then emailed the link I was given if there was any problems and the email address they gave me is not valid. I have been charged just under AED 700 and would really like to get the serial number.     We're just Lightroom users here, not Adobe employees.
    Other than to advise you to check your junk mail folder, we probably can't do much to help. You need to contact Adobe.

    I purchased it from my University bookstore and the attending clerk was no better informed than was I.
    The form is required to be infilled in order to receive the serial number necessary for installation of the software
    After five hours of trying, I was able to overcome the flaw in the form, as it appeared on the Acrobat website, and
    complete the two pull-down menus indicating the State in which I live.
    I called Adobe Customer Care for assistance and had to wait two hours for a return call, and by the time the
    call came though I had found that the website form allowed me to pull-down for the State of location.
    Adobe is an uncaring vendor, once it has your money in hand.

  • It's been almost a month and I still haven't received my serial number.

    I purchased the Student/Teacher edition of Production Premium and submitted my documentation, but have still not received the serial number from Adobe.  As the discussion title indicates, it's been almost a full month and my trial is about to run out. 
    I would greatly appreciate it if someone from Adobe (preferably from the Serial Number Approval Department) would contact me with either A: an explanation or B: my serial number (preferable).

    You need to call Adobe on their phone line. Adobe does not necessarily hang out on these forums which are user forums.

    For Creative cloud applications to work you dont need a serial number . CC works on the basis of your Adobe Id & Password so in our case right now I would request you to kindly launch the product and wait for the trial message to come up . Once you have the trial message up , kindly click on Licensing This software and then use your Adobe id & Password that we have used to purchase the creative cloud .

    Like most online purchases you would normally receive the order number before the order is processed so you should be patient and allow some time for the processing to happen.  If you feel you have waited long enough then you should contact Adobe Support directly and try to get information on your order since you now have a reference for it that you can share with them.

    If you purchased a subscription, there is no serial number. Sign in with your Adobe ID to license the software.

  • Photoshop cs3 extended asking for serial number and activation after having the program for over 5 years now

    for some reason the program out of the blue is asking for a serial number and activation.  I can't find the case anymore.  does anyone have a way I can contact adobe directly to see if they can help me solve this problem. 
    Everywhere I look points me back to the forum or troubleshooting menus.

    It may think you have a different computer if you've changed some of the hardware recently.
    Did you purchase the software as a download or register it with Adobe?  If so, your serial number may be available from them directly.  Click first the red A logo at the top of this page, then drill down through [Manage Account] to see the products they have on file for you.
    If you've physically lost your serial number and never registered it with Adobe, it's like losing a wad of cash on the street.  You're responsible for holding onto your valuables and no one's going to step up and replace it for you.
    The Creative Cloud Photographer's Bundle subscription package is still available for $9.99 a month, as far as I know.

    If you have FCPX (10) you can upgrade for free at the MacApp Store.
    Did you click "proxy media" when importing? That will help playback.

    Adobe is a mess.  I will re-type this question a FIFTH TIME:
    I HAVE PURCHASED LIGHTROOM A FULL WEEK AGO, through a dealer, and I did not receive a serial number.   I got an email asking me to join LWS, but no serial number - and the product was not listed under my name.  Thye Adobe sites keep giving me a runaroud - I didn't now that registering a product has to become such a big project, and I don't have the time for this nonsense.  Thank you.

    I bought it from an official overseas dealer.  Afterwards I got an email from Adobe to join the licensing site (so the order went through to them), but no serial number.  Thank you for the reply, but I guess I should have filed the issue under another heading, having to do with "Licensing" rather than "Lightroom" (although this is the program that I have purchased).

    My problem started when I want to unlock my iphone 3gs via Imei.
    My old iphone broke about a month after i bought it (it was 2 years ago), so i sent it to Movistar to change it (i think that they sent it to appleCare). Now Movistar told me that i have to send the old iphone imei in order to unlock the iphone i have now, i ask apple for the repair order receipt, then i received an email and i could see the information about the 2 iphones: the old broken one and the new one.
    Then I realized that the iphone they sent me as a replacement (the new one) is not the same iphone i have. The serial number and the Imei are different, so, should apple change this data in their server in order to unlock my iphone or what can i do to solve it?
    There is any formal way to perform this data change?

    Here we work with repairs for devices that does not have waranty (expired or other issue). In this case, I did the screen replacement. No other ipad was on my station, the ipad arrives, i took it change the glass, put everithing back, give to customer. Thats it. The job was done by me, the customer test his ipad in front on me, works fine, everything ok. Few days pass and he came back saying that it wasn't his ipad, he brings the box that the ipad came and ask me why the serial number does not match the serial number in the box (sorry NOT in the back of the ipad).
    There were no other part changed only glass. After 7 years working on this, thats the first customer complaining about a work done here. After this I was curious and look for more information and some forums, also one port here is claiming that the serial number on the device is not the same as the box where it came.
    I just want to make sure that there are possibilities that there could be such mistake during the packaging process.
