I recently added an extender to my verizon router to be able to connect to apple tv in my guest house. the apple tv message in the guest house says it cannot connect to the server at this time.

I have two problems. Firstly I rented two movies and have not been able to watch them. Error on screen says 'cannot load at this time, try later'. Second problem is that I added a wi-fi extender to my verizon router to connect to apple tv in my guest house. message on screen in guest house says 'cannot connect to server'. I need some set up help.

If you are still having trouble, you can try to reset your equipment by unplugging Apple TV, your television, your wireless networking equipment or AirPort Base Station, and your router from their power outlet. Wait 30 seconds, then plug everything back in.

Sharepoint list dataheet view error "Cannot connect to the server at this time. You can continue working with this list, but some data may not be available"

I have a List which is having around 14000 items in it.while opening that list in datasheet view it is giving error .
Below is a summary of the issue:
After selecting datasheet view beow error occurs:
    "Cannot connect to the server at this time. You can continue working with this list, but some data may not be available."
    "Unable to retrieve all data."
    The item counts displays say 100 out of 14000 items.
Exporting List to excel is giving only 2000 records out of 14000 records.
Other Observations   -
This is happening to only one list on the site .There are other lists in the site whose no. of records is equal to 8000 to 9000.They are working absolutely fine without any error.
Also, If I am saving this list as a template and creating another list with it ,then it is working absolutely fine with 14000 records,so the issue does not seem to be related with no. of records as the template list is working fine.
I have checked the Alternate access mapping setting ,its fine.
It should not be related to lookup,datefield or any other column as the list created from it template is working fine with all these columns.
I checked below links also ,but doesn't seem to work in my case.

I have spent two days to resolve this issue. Microsoft has released two KBs with reference to this issue...but are not appearing in search results at the top.
I am sharing my finding.
1. First install the
KB2552989 (Hopefully you might have already installed it. The KB detetcts it and informs the user.)
2. Then update registry by adding new key for data fetch timeout as mentioned inKB2553007
These two steps resolved the issue in our environment. Hope it might help others as well.

• I was happily watching all itunes media on my apple tv but then apple tv asked me to upgrade.
• I upgraded.
• Now it can't connect to any menus related to the itunes store.
• I verified I have the latest upgrade to itunes.
• Homesharing is turned on.
• I have restarted apple tv numerous times.
• I CAN'T watch or listen to itunes 'movies', 'tv shows', 'music', 'podcasts' via apple tv.
• I CAN watch netflix, youtube, movies on my mac, itunes radio.
• I CAN connect to the itunes store via my mac.
• I get this error on apple tv 'unable to sign in' 'apple tv can't connect to the server at this time. please try later.'

Lets be frank: this is an internal server communication issue at Apple that they don't want to fix or acknowledge.    This "unable to sign in" or unable to communicate issues are all about purchase validation ONLY. That is where it hangs up.   For example, I can see favorites but it won't access my list of purchased items.     And yet - the only advice they have is reboot?
The same issue happens when trying to watch Netflix on ATV.   It can't connect to the Netflix server but gosh golly gee, I switch to my Roku box and no problem.   Unfortunately for Apple, while I'm over there I'm starting to to buy movies and shows from Amazon
Apple doesn't make it's money from the $99 Apple TV sale - it's the iTunes purchases.   If we want them to listen we need to interrupt that revenue stream.

Mostly iTunes, mail, finder, google chrome, and one or two other programs.
What are the "two other programs?" The ones you named shouldn't be consuming all your RAM, even if open concurrently. But I've heard (I don't use it) 10.7 is a memory hog.
Closing open apps may not solve the problem, since that memory is still being held in reserve for them.
This problem is usually caused by a combination of low RAM and low disk space.I am very puzzled when you say you have 895GB left on the drive. That should be an enormous amount of room for the memory to page out (write) to.

Apple TV can never connect to the sever! Why is iTunes sever constantly DOWN? ANNOYING!

I have had this issue in the past but it usually cleared up on it's own soon after. This time it's been stuck in this "Can't connect to server" mode for days. I couldn't even go to settings to attempt to reset.
I finaly solved this issue by simply DISCONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY AND THE HDMI CORD!!!
Wait a few seconds (10 is good) and then reconnect the unit. BOOM!!! There it is!!

I'm continually seeing "unable to sign in: can't connect to the server at this time" ...

whenever i try to view any of my purchased tv/movies or even try to purchase something new ... all despite being able to view trailers, youtube etc- so I know my wifi is OK. And I can purchase from iTunes on other devices so I know my account is OK. Any ideas?

I recommend power cycling your Apple TV using the on screen menu to see if that would help:
Restarting your Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) using the onscreen menu
If you have Apple TV software 5.0 or later installed, you can restart your Apple TV using the onscreen menu. To restart your Apple TV choose Settings > General > Restart.

Last night I was watching programs on Apple TV with only one problem: I was not able to purchase the entire season of "Homeland" but could purchase and watch individual episodes. Many times a day I receive a small message saying "There was a problem connecting to the server "Bill's Time Capsule". I've also had problems with my computer not recognizing that two of my wireless HP printers are turned on. These problems have occurred since I downloaded OS X Yosemite (10.10.2).
Are these problems connected? How do I solve them?

Yosemite is poor.. it has poor networking and poor TM.. and is buggy all round. Although I am surprised if the issues started at 10.10.2.. I would have thought just continued unabated.
Anyhow reset the AE to factory and redo the setup.
Please use all names that are short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
Passwords the same 8-20 mixed case and numbers.. whereas names can be even shorter.
Ensure IPv6 in the computer is set to link local only for whatever network you use.. be it wireless or ethernet.. eg wireless.
And if the TC is bridged.. then try and keep its IP from drifting.. this can be a bit difficult. Need to set dhcp reservations on the main router. If the TC is main router this is not going to be a problem.
