The letters will not adhere to the far right-hand column.
Is this the fault of the game, the ipad or something I do wrong ?

Soulds like you may have a GPU problem. If it is under warenty, bring it into a genius bar and they will get you running again.

Apparently it is not an issue with wifi since Safari, You Tube and Maps work well, I’ve tried some of the tips, e.g. log off/on my Id, change password but no one worked.

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

Go into your Applications folder
Find the app named Install Mac OS X Lion.app
Move that app to the trash
relaunch The App Store
go to your Purchased list
Click on install next to Lion
It will re-download the installer

The image is there but is invisible. same issue when I want to draw a line. Did you end up restoring from an iCloud back up or an iTunes back up? Usually if you restore from a back up, what comes on the device is what was stored on the back up, so very unlikely you will get any additional photos back.

I recently received an ipad2 and when I tried to sync using separate apple and iTunes passwords, under her computer user name, it appears I over-road her account and synced all her apps with my apps on my iPad. I then set myself up as a new user on our computer and tried to sync. I now get the error that my iPad is synced to another library. How can I start over without erasing all my data on the iPad?

Go back to her login. Unless you deliberately erased apps, they should all be there, both yours and hers! Then, you need to set up each iPad separately. You will notice that they have separate names for that very purpose.
There is no problem with multiple Apple IDs on the same iTunes on the same computer except... Apps are permanently associated with the ID that was originally used to obtain them. If you choose to update an app from inside iTunes and you're logged into the "wrong" ID, you must log out and back in again.
On the bright side, you can configure either or both iPads to sync with apps and music and movies, etc. from either or both IDs. Further, if you choose to update the apps from the iPads themselves, there is no need to log out/in. The device handles that. All you need is the correct password. In my case, I use the same password for both IDs to make things easier.

It sounds like you are trying to upgrade your Mac to a newer version of OS X, after completing a fresh install of Snow Leopard.

You must have a minimum of OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 installed on your Mac to have the Mac App Store. The Quick Links are on the Featured pane.
